I am very sure I was in the best hands anyone can have with Dr Kress. He did both my knees. His team of nurses, anesthesia, PT is so good. They welcome questions before and after. I am so grateful for all of them.

Dr Kress is the best! He did my hip replacement. He and his team are outstanding. I can tell he loves what he does and his expertise shows.

Staff was great, but after a 2 hour wait, I had 5 minutes w the PA. Pretty dismissive and it was clear he was ready to go home.

My total knee replacement was Awesome. Managed through the pain without the pain pills, just over the counter medications. Did not need a cane or walker at all. Went to the store unassisted, no cane or walker in 7 days by myself and went to work on the 8th day for a little bit, I did all the physical therapy at home per the videos and my recovery is complete with full range of motion.Im now at 3 months and just went for a 3 mile hike with absolutely no pain, Swelling is down to normal. Unbelievable experience and encourage everyone thinking about a total knee replacement to do so..My other knee is scheduled for later this month because the first surgery was a total success.Thanks you Dr. Kress for you skill as a surgeon.Craig Speak

Hands down worst experience I have ever witnessed. The staff is so incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Absolutely the worst post-op care I have ever witnessed, someone getting their wisdom teeth taken out receives more care. Would highly reconsider going somewhere else before planning a consultation here, unless you want rude nurses, and a extra long and significantly more painful recovery.

Dr. Kress demonstrated a good patient-side manner with me. Whats more, his nurse and everyone on the team was responsive to my questions. More importantly, expectations were set out early on as to what to expect, how to prepare for it, and the patients role in recovering and rehabbing themselves. It was a good experience for me and Im glad I had my knee replacement done and had it done by Dr. Kresss team.

Dr. Kress and his staff are the best. Aside from occasional pain, Im very pleased with the outcome of two surgeries. I strongly recommend the office changes its practice of referring patients for blood tests to the blood lab in the same building without first cautioning patients to check with their insurance company to ensure that tests conducted at that lab are covered. I am now stuck with an almost $400 bill from that lab for tests that would have been fully covered had I gone to Labcorp. This isnt how medical visits and insurance should work.

Unfortunately, I never had a chance to meet Dr Kress and I say unfortunate for two reasons. First, because he came so highly recommended. Secondly because his office staff was so rude and unhelpful I left the office. After leaving in disgust, I emailed the staff and they did not even have courtesy to respond. First impressions are lasting. The office might want to think about the money they are costing the Dr.

My spouse works in the medical field. Two of his co-working doctors highly recommended Dr. Kress for my hip pain. His bedside manner was comforting, his knowledge amazing, very encouraging and his staff was super! He recommended physical therapy and that’s exactly what I needed! I found Johns Creek Physical Therapy was ranked #1 in my area. I am beyond grateful!! I am back to walking 2 miles with no pain. Went looking for help, had excellent reputation. Was delayed being treated under the explanation that my case was difficult and wanted to talk with colleagues. Took over a year, then said he couldnt operate because of infection risk (weight gain). If I had been treated earlier, I was below the weight he wanted. Had both legs damaged from a wreck. I wanted worst one treated first (also had nerve damage) but he wanted to start with easier. Once I got away and went elsewhere, they agreed but the nerve was not recoverable. The neurologist said if I had been referred to him earlier, there would have been a good chance. I feel he is good but didnt want the trouble or liability of my case. It would have been nice if that was just said and referred elsewhere. Veracity is important.

Changed my life with knee replacement surgery when no one else would agree to it because of my (relatively) young age. After the surgery I felt like Id been given back the 20 years Id spent in constant pain. A decisive and thorough professional, and a witty guy to boot. A reassuring combination thats rare to find.

Obviously knowledgeable, very skillful and personable. Nice offices off Old Milton Parkway. Had my replacement knee surgery 13 days ago and already walking very well. Very little pain or discomfort, especially compared to how much I hurt before the surgery. Had four other friends who had the same surgery by Dr. Kress and they all reported outstanding results. I recommend him highly.

Being a physician, I know the dedication required to provide excellence to and for patients. Dr. Kress replaced my right hip 3 years ago and my left one month ago. The recovery from the most recent was easier than the first and the immediate postoperative pain far less than the first time. I dont why or what was different, but I do know that Dr. Kress always strives to achieve excellence for his patients for which Im forever grateful. Back on the tennis courts in a couple of weeks after being out of commission for 5 years!!!

Dr. Kress is a rare creature: a very kind, compassionate, caring genius. I wish I had known about him when I had my first hip replacement in 2016. Unfortunately I didn’t, and despite positive online reviews and recommendations from trusted friends, that experience was less than stellar.Dr. Kress did my second hip in 2017 and it was like night and day from the first surgery. I checked into the hospital at 8:30, underwent surgery at 9:30–it only took about 45 minutes—was out of recovery and walking by 11:30 and was discharged at 12:15. I was hungry and we drove through the Varsity for lunch on the way home!!Northside Forsyth, where Dr. K performs surgery, is an outstounding facility. I have been a patient at several hospitals and served as primary caregiver for my parents and uncle in their declining years, and I have never experienced such a high level of prompt, intelligent, compassionate and common-sense care. Together with Dr. Kress’s skills, they make for the best possible experience for anyone going through surgery. 100 stars!

We sought out the top knee surgeons in Atlanta and settled on Dr. Kress after lots of research. We enjoyed our consultations very much. Leading up to my surgery appointment, I ran into several people around town who knew of Dr. Kress and spoke extremely highly of him. And we live over an hour away! He is one of the best doctors weve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Extremely intelligent, up on the latest technologies and procedures, easy to talk to, highly regarded.
