I went in for a physical to see Dr. Neil Patel. After an okay visit, I waited for the results. After a week of not receiving a call, I called them and was told I would receive a call back. The doctor called me to discuss the results and then I found out I was charged for a telehealth appointment. I called to find out why I was being charged if this is part of the due diligence that the doctor has to do with patients after their visit. The billing department girl then proceeded to tell me that the doctor charged you for abnormal results. ISNT THAT THE REASON I CAME TO YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE? How can you charge me when I had to be the one to call you? Three other family members in my house attend this clinic and I informed her this business practice will lose four patients to which she replied thats okay. I asked to speak to someone else who would be able to help and she said my manager will call you. She then proceeded to tell me that this is going around in circles and youve said the same thing ten times and then hung up on me.You are literally in the field of helping people but you are taking advantage of them during a pandemic when they need you most. You could at least hire a staff who pretends to give a hoot about your patients. Lost four today, but hey back to business.

Good experience. I hate going to the doctor but Dr. Neil was super easy to speak to and I felt at ease. Nurse was great with the blood draw too. Received my results and follow up promptly.

Update 2: Had some billing issues but Dr. Patel set them straight.This feels like a bait and switch scam. Declined service. Get billed anyway.I was told my insurance didnt cover my visit because my deductible wasnt met. Thats fine. That was expected. So I paid them. Then, I get a letter in the mail telling me I owed them the amount I paid because there was confusion about what my insurance would cover. Why?I was told my plan didnt cover my visit because the deductible wasnt met. This feels like a scam to me.Called a representative who said sometimes you dont know [the total] until you see the doctor. Except I had already seen the doctor, they already looked up my insurance, and confirmed with a billing rep that my plan wasnt going to cover it. So where is this new charge coming from?Surely does feel like a scam.Update 1: I am being charged for a consultation I didnt ask for. I walked in and asked for a strep test. They said I could get the test for $75 but if wanted to see the doctor it would be one hundred something dollars.I said I only wanted the test. The doctor comes out and says he wants to look at my tonsils. He said he would do this free of charge. I am now getting billed for a service I specifically declined.

Terrible experience. They lied about the services provided and then had billing issues with them. Avoid at all cost, extremely unprofessional.

Highly recommend this clinic! I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and this is hands down one of my favorite doctors. Dr. Dhiraj Patel has always been empathetic and very skilled when it comes to his medical advice and diagnosis. I won’t be going anywhere anytime soon!

Dr Neal and Dr Dhiraj are a father and son duo. Been my family Dr for years.They are just that, family! They are always there and who i know my children and i can go to for our needs. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Dr. Patel works with you to address your concerns rather than just telling you what to do. He makes sure that both of you are on the same page. Also, the nurses and staff here are very accommodating and upon entering they will welcome you with a genuine smile in their faces.

Dr.Deeraj Patel is the family doctor for us. It has been 3 years since we are giving our wellness checkups, and his preventive suggestions are simple to follow and he is patient, listens, and gives great suggestions.

Told me they accept my insurance, when I showed up I was told they do not. Somewhat frustrating to carve out time in your day for lack of communication.

Highly recommend. I had a severe pain in my right jaw and was unable to chew food on the right side. Dr.Dhiraj was very meticulous during the ear flush procedure to clean my ear. My pain was instantly reduced when he was done with the procedure.

Rude and unable to explain charges to your insurance. When you ask for explanation they got mad and hang up the phone on you. This place is not professional and very disrespectful to people. I know many people stop going there because of that.

Bad practice and I do not recommend this doctors to anyone. Lack of professionalism. They want to charge me consulting fees to give my annual physicals exam results. When I asked for explanation they send me a letter saying that I can not be their patience anymore- which I believe is a malpractice.Go somewhere else and save yourself a headache.

I called and spoke with Olivia to make a appointment for 02/26/21 for a CT scan on my right kidney to test for stomach cancer. Olivia told me that I may get a colonoscopy which didn’t make any sense since I wasn’t testing for colon cancer. I get there and paid the co pay of $135, per Olivia. I was weighed and had my blood pressure checked then the doctor came in to discuss my situation and basically I paid $135 for a freaking consultation I DID NOT ask for. I’d never been there before so was unaware that the office didn’t handle what I scheduled an appointment for and when I called, instead booking a false appointment, I should have been told that it couldn’t be done. I did not need or ask for an expert opinion as I already knew exactly what I needed. It was a complete waste of my time and money, including the $37 spent on Uber and I would still like my money refunded. It felt like a complete scam.

Excellent experience. My wife and I chose this clinic as they are certified to do immigration physicals. This is the second time we had to have our immigration physicals as the last ones expired for our application. Dr. Patel was much more thorough than my previous civil surgeon, which we both appreciated. He was very patient, explained the process well, and the turn around time was quick. Additionally, the pricing was transparent.

Today was my first visit and was very pleased with entire process from scheduling to checkout went smooth and quickly . I have been a patient of Dr. Patels for over twenty years now... back when he was on the other side of the building he is in now. I have moved away from the area where his office is but have kept him as my primary care physician. I see him probably twice a year on average but he always remembers my history and talks to me like a person instead of the impersonal, clinical care you get these days from hurried physicians in other practices. Would recommend - hes a good doctor.

Dr. Patel was good. But the management is totally irresponsible and poorly managed.I got timely appointment and went the week after for annual physical exam.Everything was done and Dr. said report will be available in 2 days.Now it;s been 2 weeks, i have followed multiple times, even Dr. said will send the report but still nothing.No one has clue what to do and who will do it.Well i will not comment on other issues but yeah this clinic is not for annual exam folks.

I have been going to Dr. Patel for almost 20 years now and I can honestly say that he is the absolute BEST physician that I have come across in my life! He has seen me through common colds, bronchitis, the flue, etc. He has always been compassionate and witty and a good friend to me, but it was when my back went out and I needed emergency surgery, that I really got to see what an angel he is. I had a couple of terrible but needed back surgeries and long story short, they did not heal well. I called Dr. Patel and he was so kind. He let me come in when I was able (traveling any distance was hard and painful), was gentle and patient with me as he dressed my wounds that were so painful, and took the time to also slowly and carefully teach my husband how to care for me as well.He got me through a hard time and when so many doctors wanted to just push me off to a pain clinic, he sat down with me and made a treatment plan so that I would be as comfortable as possible, without over doing it.I trust Dr. Patel and his entire staff (who are awesome, sweet and attentive) to be my number one Doctor!I highly recommend this Doctor and his staff. They are kind and dependable and go above and beyond to meet your needs!

This review is for Dr. Neil Patel. I was having an issue with a abscess and needing a new primary care physician. I went to Zocdoc and searched based on reviews and proximity to my home. I booked the appointment same day and made it to the office about thirty minutes early to fill out the appropriate paperwork. When I tell you this is the only doctor or dentist appointment that I have ever gone on that actually gets you in and out in a timely manner!! I saw Dr Patel on a Friday and he personally called me on Monday morning to check on me after the weekend! Unheard of in all my dr. visits. Follow up was Thursday the following week and the office visit was just as punctual as the first. I would highly recommend Dr Patel and his courteous and very helpful staff of professional.....They run a tight ship!!

This is the only doc I will goto. I am not sure what the other person is complaining about as Dr. Patel (in the over 5 years) I have been going to him has Never been rude. EVER. That being said he also has helped me with my Hernia which was horrible. Ill never wish that pain on someone, ever. He not only sees my whole family including my parents and brother and his family but also my grandparents. We took them in for their check up as they are coming up on 90 years old and was taken care of with great regard. Clean, fast and professional. Yes he does make jokes, yes he talks about other stuff than just the medical visit, I like that. Makes it easier when he asks to turn and cough..

My husband went here after 2 emergency room visits, 1 hospital stay and 1 urgent care visit. He did have a list of health issues to be addressed, however when he went over them with Dr. Patel, the doctor actually stopped him and said he was going to step out of the room and think for a few minutes and get some water. I understand needing to seriously think about what underlying issues might be at hand in order to better treat a patient, but when a major issue of the patients is extreme anxiety attacks, you should probably be able to handle the situation with a little more care. After waiting, the doctor strolled in and just wrote a few prescriptions- one which my husband had to explain would not be a suitable dosage as it was the same as he was currently on and was not effective. The doctor then wrote a prescription for a higher dose but did so with an air of disrespect, as if implying my husband was only seeking a prescription rather than help with an actual problem that has been seriously effecting our lives. Dr. Patels unprofessionalism then became rather apparent as he starts to discuss political news and joking about Donald Trump as if the visit is over- after hardly looking at my husband at all. My husband actually had to interrupt him and ask if he would be looking at his respiratory issues he was having at all. Dr. Patels response was to then make a rude and unprofessional joke along the line of Youve got anxiety-are you sure this issue isnt just in your head? (Way out of line considering its been a recurring issue that my husband has seen another doctor for this year- was it in her head too?!) After a 3 second look at his sinuses, he wrote another prescription for a low dose antibiotic and walked off as though the visit were through. No explanation of any of the issues or explanation of when he should return or what to expect. After a week on the prescriptions, my husband was still having bad anxiety during the middle of the day/unable to rest at night and he called in asking if it would be alright for him to increase the frequency of his dose to better manage these middle of the day anxiety attacks. He was told the doctor would be calling him back shortly. 4 hours later after still not hearing back and having gone through another bout of anxiety, he calls back to see if the doctor had spoken with the nurse and the nurse assured him he would hear back from them at 5:30. No call at all, another anxiety attack. We called the next morning to see why we were dismissed as if the issue wasnt important and were met with a refusal to increase the dosage or frequency, an attitude that the doctor just wasnt comfortable with it and they would like my husband to see a psychiatrist. Of course he will see the psychiatrist but how on earth will a rude, unprofessional and dismissive attitude help him now?Absolutely ridiculous behavior. Totally unacceptable. Spreading this review to every place we can and spread the word that Dr. Patels unprofessional atmosphere is not alright in any way.

I want to start by saying to please read this in its entirety, as well as the review posted by Elizabeth some bit below. Alarming to see such similar, awful behaviour.I recently came in to town for a family function for a very short period of time, and intended to pick up two prescriptions that Dr. Patel had written for me, sent in to a local pharmacy, and ASSURED me were ready for whenever I came. When I went to the pharmacy the day of my flight, I was told the doctor had called and cancelled one of the prescriptions. Hm. So I call Dr. Patel to ask about this. 1) His front-desk service refuse to hand him the phone after I ask for a proper explanation, 2) when he gets on the phone his first thing he says is what is it what are you complaining about? I was a bit taken aback by this but I simply explain the situation quite nicely. He then tells me that his policy has changed and theres nothing he can do. Shouldnt he make his patients aware of policy changes? Should I not have been told that I wouldnt receive the second prescription? This is all two hours before a flight I have to catch. Anyway, I express my concern with this and he then goes on to say the following things -> 1) you are wasting my time with your complaints 2) do you know how to read 3) dont act smart with me you are idiots 4) Im not giving you a single penny back 5) do me a favour and find a new psychiatrist among others. So, Im at fault for expecting a service that I was promised and one that I had paid for. And I walk away without what I came for and needed.Ah, not to mention he spoke the exact same way when my elderly grandmother went to him for ear treatment recently. He actually looked us in the eye and said there was no problem with her ears, took the money, and called it a day. We go to another doctor, find out via X-Ray that the ENTIRE ear-drum in the right ear is blocked. But according to Dr. Patel, nothing was wrong. Let me just give them some drops and get them out of here was his attitude. I cant express my disgust with this man any further. Told my mum and grandmother too bad when we called after visiting the other doctor.My family and I have gone to Dr. Patel for the past 1.5-2 years, thinking that we were developing a relationship with someone who actually cared for their patients and their quality service. It is all a farce. When the time comes that he might need to go out of his way for you or simply just provide proper service, he will show true colours and you will wonder why you ever gave him a minute of your time. Pathetic, disrespectful, and unprofessional behaviour.

Dr. Patel is second to none. We have been going to Dr. Patel for a long time now and He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help my fiancé and I. I called him on a Saturday because I was concerned about my fiancé who was having a lot of stress at work and his blood pressure was really high and I was afraid that he might have a heart attack. I called Dr. Patels office and he called me back within 15 minutes and offered to meet my fiancé and I at his office on a Saturday to check him out for me. There are not many doctors that would ever do that and he goes above and beyond for his patients and they are his first priority.and I will continue to come to Dr. Patels office until he retires. After that, I will start going to his son who is now in the the same office as Dr. Patel.

The only reason im giving this man one star is because its the lowest option, pls read tanil patels review because the way my family was treated is completely unacceptable in any respectable doctors office.. any doctor that responds to patients concerns with insults and doesnt take the patient seriously should not even be given the title doctor. i am completely appalled at the words he used and would never reccomend his services to anyone.
