This feedback is for Alpharetta store only. I dont know whether other stores has same experience. So, if the store closes at 8 and you arrive after 7:30 or 7:40, they tell you they cannot take you in now because until your turn comes it will be past 8.Very unprofessional, as you have to go back without haircut and come back again next day.Why they cant just stick to store hours?? So frustrating..

Styling turned out nice. I asked for a shampoo, cut and style. I wasn’t given a haircut though. I didn’t even bother to ask for them to give me one because they were too busy to listen. The stylist burned my scalp with their hair dryer after I told them the hair dryer was too hot, too close to my scalp and pulled away a few times to avoid burning my scalp further. The staff was friendly but doesn’t really listen or pay attention to your requests.

Ask for Paris !I had shoulder length hair and was so over deal with it. I left with a pixie cut and she really knew what she was doing. I highly recommend Paris! She’s very sweet and attentive! Plus she loves doing pixies so it worked out perfectly!!!!

Firstly, I have been a regular client of Great clips for the past few years and have never had this kind of experience. This visit ( hoping it to be a one time thing) was bad. The stylist was rude and did a pathetic job. I would not want to name him in a public review. Will certainly visit them but won’t choose that stylist at any cost. Choose your stylist wisely.

Caused injury to my son! The lady who cut my sons hair cut him in two different places behind his ear. So bad, he was bleeding and she informed me she went ahead and put Neosporin on it. In addition, he had horrible, painful razor burn in the back of his neck. These pictures were from 2 days after his cut! It looked so bad it raised questions/concerns from family and his teachers at school. I agree with all the comments about the rude unprofessional workers, but my sons health & safety is a far bigger concern.

The hair stylists here are incredible! They welcome you as you walk in the door and if there is any wait they keep you updated and when its your turn, they give you their full attention.

There were two lady’s there today. And the one that was gonna cut my brothers hair said there was nothing under his name on how we like it to be cut and she said there was nothing and that they couldn’t do what I was asking for..basically she was making everything a complication. And then left my brothers hair with some parts cut and some long..like holes. I even showed her the haircut and she was gonna leave the top part longer when in the picture it was small. Terrible. I would like to know the names. Because the first time we went there, there was another lady that did understand and that wasn’t complicated.She was the one to write down how we like his haircut to be.

Had a very bad experience took my son to get a hair cut done the person who did his hair cut he was so rude I don’t know his name but he was so rude and was not ready to listen how I want and what I want . I have always been here to this location since it was close to my house every time I had a bad experience I don’t know for some reason some of their staff are very rude and not polite at all . The very first time I went I got a good haircut I liked it and since it’s close to my house I thought I had finally found a good place to get a good haircut but in recent times I’ve been liking this place less and less most recently they messed up on my haircut. I simply asked for a trim and nothing more but they messed it up I didn’t like it but decided to pay and try and make it work out. After 2 day with the haircut I couldn’t make it work so I went back with a recipe asking if I could get a redo as annoyed as they seemed they cut my hair again. The haircut itself lasted 3 minutes and afterwards it still wasn’t what I wanted but I honestly didn’t want to argue with anyone. But I es more shocked to see that they again charged me $15 for a 3 minute haircut a re-cut I wasn’t happy but still paid and I’ve never been back and probably never will highly recommend other great clips locations

Not all staff have good experience. I bought the 10 hair cut Card last year but lost the card with 4-5 hair cuts remaining. I was asked to get the receipt from last year and they can help give me a replacement card. Common someone expecting me to retain the receipt for a year?? But still to my surprise I found it in my drawer and went to the store today. I had to explain every thing to a lady. She doesn’t know and calls up another gentlemen. Huh... I explain writhing again. He says he can’t read anything on receipt. The receipt was a year old but still we can read the store name address and tracking number and all. Not showing helping up attitude. And when I was reading the receipt for him he asks me to come tomorrow again when Manager is available. Overall it was not a good experience explaining twice and still they could not do and be dependent on manager for a straight forward request.

First time, i had a good haircut but the second time they just messed my hair up. I am nearly bald today. I am a long hair stype person. It really makes me sad. They completely ruined it. I tried to stop her and she was like just a minute and she kept on with this not listening to me and ended messing me up.

I am modifying my review rating today as i was not happy with their new policy on tip.Lady asked me to give minimum $3 as tip though i was not happy with cut. She mentioned that great clips had made mandatory to give minimum $3 tip. Ridiculous.

Some stylist are rude and cant cut hair, and some are absolutely awesome. Great Clips is like a jar of jelly beans... you never know what flavor you are going to get... Could be vomit or tropical fruit. Do you feel lucky? Note: They dont take competitors coupons.

I walked in and walked to the front desk to get checked in but it took a little bit for someone to actually come and help me. Their were 3 people but one lady was on the phone and just ignored me and the other African American lady had a really bad attitude the Asian guy was the nicest and he helped me. He finally got me checked in and when he was asking the African American lady if she wanted to cutt my sons hair she ignored him both times he asked she didnt even respond I wanted to leave right when that happened I felt bad for the guy so than he asked if we were ready I said yes but did ask who was going to cutt his hair because I did not want it to be neither of the 2 women who ignored us so he said he would I felt fine with that and he did great. Throughout the whole process the African American lady was walking back and forth with an attitude it was just really uncomfortable and even though the Asian guy was nice it takes 1 person to mess it up. We wont be going back to this location unfortunately.

I don’t know why the place was like this today. Last time a very nice lady cut my hair ... but today was horrible. The 2 employees cussed in front of me and fought over not wanting to cut my hair because they were both on the phone. The lady repeatedly told the guy that was currently cutting my hair how she didn’t care about giving a f****** haircut, and he just laughed . He got the comb stuck on my ear piercing and that was my fault for not saying I had one but it hurt so bad I cried through the rest of the haircut in silence. I was furious. He also claimed that they couldn’t straighten my hair with a blow dryer , because there was only 2 employees there . I left a tip, I was nice, but I can’t help but think I should have got up and left in the middle of everything.

When I have something important enough to need a haircut, they get it right. They can figure out how my hair grows and just the work needed to get it looking right. Love the cuts!

Very bad experience with Angela. She was not in the mood to cut my hairs. Even she was very rude.During payment time when I told her I have coupons, she gave me little wired look. After passing coupon she rudely said cut one coupon and give it to me. For me it looked like she is in vacation mood.When I added tip to payment, she asked for specific tip, and gave me stupid reason that transaction will not go through. Stupid.Will never go there again. My experience is below one star.

Great service every time I go! Very friendly staff, and the wait is never too long as there always seems to be enough stylists working (unlike most other Great Clips I have been to). I give the staff a five, but the by the nature of the business/company...I do feel a little rushed to get out of the chair for the next person. However, I do recommend this Great Clips over the others I have visited in the area.

Randy is excellent and doesnt rush you through. Efficient and friendly and he always does an excellent job. He has lots of regulars so you might have to wait, but its worth it.

Its very inexpensive which is why I go there, I dont have enough hair to be worth paying more :) Sometimes Im happy with the haircut, not always. Once I asked for a David Beckham and I got a Monk instead.... The staff has a lot of turnover, theres always new different people working there, so you will eventually have to switch from someone you like to someone you dont know. But $9.99 haircuts if you wait for the coupon in the mailers/newspapers.

Very rude to speak to, did not accept Great Clips gift card on the day you purchase, falsely claiming that its Great Clips policy. Went to exit 12 great clips, very friendly, accepted the card and all happy. When i called them back to inform them that its not great clips policy, then they were very disrespectful and rude on the phone. If you like customer service, stay away....

I asked for a quick and simple haircut and they obliged. It was nothing special and they got me in and out in no time but were very pushy on trying to get me to buy products and they did not have a good tactic. They insulted my hair..

I went there with my 4 year old for hair cut on March 22nd at 7:30 pm. Hair dresser -Lisa was very rude, and kept yelling at my son during hair cut. I had to sit with him to get his hair done. If you dont want to do kids or if your not comfortable say upfront.She had no patience and no experience with kids. I do not Will NOT recommend for kids. I have been to this place once before and then my kid was handled very well.

Ihe been here on the Memorial day and the elderly lady was just trying to wrap my hair cut in like minutes and get rid of me, moreover she turned down 2 other walk-ins after me because she wanted to close the store at 04:00 pm (whereas, an official at great clips corporate confirmed it to me that no stores or franchising businesses should close before 05:00their local time) I felt bad for the ones who wanted their hair done but just little did I know that she is gonna do something awful to me while I am on the chair, she just chopped all my hair with uncut hair on top which was a weirdest hair cut I can ever imagine. She did not take take a coupon that I had for $5.00 and did not give me any receipt which usually comes with a coupon for next visit. Dont go here at all, Its a total rip off for a bad treatment that you get with an awful haircut.

Sylvia is the best hairstylist. She is very careful and asks questions to make sure the customer is satisfied. Others need to take note. I recently went for a haircut and made the mistake of going with another hairstylist (since Sylvia was out). She wasnt as friendly, and when I asked if she could cut my hair shorter on the top, she flat out said no. Sylvia has cut it shorter EVERY time. Disappointed with their customer service. Its like I went for a trim rather than an actual haircut.

Had a problem. Owner never bothered to call... that should tell you a lot about how they treat customers here. Hairdresser had words with manager in a loud tone for all to hear. She sat in first chair and read something while there were four people waiting in the front. One hairdresser finished a client then disappeared, again with four of us waiting. The manager, only one working, served two in the next fifteen minutes. Then other guy comes in from break and a walk-in came in. He immediately took the walk-in and left the two customers sitting in the lobby. At that point, I just walked out and the girl sitting on her butt reading all of a sudden gets religion and chases me out in the parking lot. Hey, too little too late. Health related concern. Requesting follow up from Management. Stylist named John accidently cut me twice. Top inside area of each ear. I did not realize this until I returned home, looked in mirror and saw dried blood. Did basic first aid & both areas bled again. Cleaned & treated with polysporin. Monitoring for infection.I have NEVER been cut as a result of a haircut in my 59 years. Hope he sterilized his tools prior to cut. Please monitor his Edward Scissorhands style before he injures a child......Date 9-21-17 at 8pm. Cut was to short also.

Really dont want to give this place 1 star. I was turned away because I am black with short hair! I was told to come back when the black girls are at work! This is the second location that has discriminated against me without even trying to accommodate me. It seems to be the ok for your chain to make these type of racially motivated comments. I have 2 inches of hair that you cut like any other race of peoples hair. I have tried to be the bigger person and continue to patronize your chain regardless of the ignorance some of you staff displays but I think I will take it to the next level at this point since it has happened at more than one location
