I followed Dr. Akinson to Algonquin when he left the Woodstock office. He is very personable and thorough. All of his staff is friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Atkinson is one of the most thorough eye doctors I have ever seen. His office is state of the art equipment. Extremely patient and explains everything in terms that us everyday non doctor folks can understand. I expressed my frustration with the No-Line bi-focal glasses that I was wearing ( not prescribed by Dr. Atkinson) and he explained to me why I was having so much difficulty seeing through them. I followed his advice, ordered a new pair of progressive no-line bi-focal glasses with all the recommendations that he gave and by far these are the best glasses I have had.My Husband also went and say Dr. Atkinson and had the exact opinion. We live in Hebron, IL close to Wisconsin so the drive to Algonquin isnt exactly close, but hes worth and we will continue to see him.
