Pros: Very clean, parking lot available, good selection of gym equipment, great selection of cardio equipment. Plenty of squat racks.Cons: No guests allowed (big deal for me), no bumper plates, just a little cramp on space.Note: this is not my anytime fitness gym. I am traveling here. All anytime fitness facilities I have been too differ in equipment and cleanliness. If your considering joining one find the one that fits your fitness needs. This one was very good and would suit most peoples needs.

Another branch of the anytime fitness gym, and I love it. It’s a bit smaller in size from what I am used to but the gym is quite clean and sanitized by its own employees regardless of the members. The staff are very nice and will listen to your issues. Join in for a healthy lifestyle.

Great gym, easy access 24/7.... Members are really nice and after 8pm the gym is very open. There is a nice blend of functional training equipment and standard bodybuilding to satisfy most anyone sans an IFBB pro. Even with covid restrictions gym feels very chill and no one bothers you with any mask drama/etc ...

Great environment with lots of great employees that always ready to help. The area is always clean, downside not a real downside is if it was bigger with more equipment it would be a lot better. But for the size of the establishment it works. It’s not busy most of the time which is a great thing. Shower are always clean, and water filtration works too. Also sanitation is great all members and employees do their part to keep everyone safe from “COVID”. The price is actually a lot cheaper than most and to top it off it’s 24 hours.

This Anytime Fitness is an outstanding mix of diversity, informative staff and an area where your fitness goals can be achieved! As a USMC Veteran, I personally want to continue to strive for excellence; this gym’s space is perfect for that personal progress. Highly recommend this Anytime Fitness!

From the two and 1/2 years as a member of anytime fitness, it has always been exciting, with wonderful and excellent staffKUDOS TO THE STAFF. I have moved 28 miles, and its too bad the anytime fitness at my area is off away quite a bit from my new location. I miss the wonderful friends I came across through out my time as a member! HATS OFF!

Small gym with no mask policy. Has no real benches and 2 squat racks. And they charge $50 per month which is outrageous compared to any other gym in the area that is bigger and much better equipped.

I am a long time anytime fitness member. I have been to MANY of the locations in my area. This Alexandria location during COVID is an absolute nightmare. Other facilities in the area require masks and have increased their cleaning options for customers but this location has not taken that effort. In fact it does not seem that they have taken ANY effort to protect their members. in addition to that, the female staff that conducts class at 6 is incredibly rude to members who are not taking her class.... of 2 people.... so rude that you can’t be on the “turf area” at all during her class and she will definitely be sure to let you know.... while not wearing her mask. Will not be attending or recommending this location to others again.

The worst location I have ever been to. They tried to make the best of the weird space, but Id rather travel 30 min more out of my way to go to any other location

This is a wonderful gym. Accessible, easy parking, clean, up-to-date equipment, and very good trainers. The sanitizing is thorough after every client. I can’t say enough good things about my workouts here.

Randy, is so rude and when you’re asking her questions it’s like you’re bothering her. I’m shocked that she is working here. I mean her attitude is really bad for absolutely no reason.

I have yet to get anyone in the phone to cancel my membership. I left because of a deployment and can’t use the 800 number that is provided because they are a third party call center. I call the office and no one is ever there to answer the phone. All I want to do is get rid of anytime fitness.

24/7, less crowded gym which is important these days. Has what you need for a good workout. Doesnt waste its space with things you dont use anyways

Considered this gym to train at while in the area. Its a decent gym with some good equipment. Has some bigger dumbbells which is always good. I always seemed to get a crazy pump when working out here. The problem is the contract you sign...or dont sign....which has much ambiguity IMHO.

Been going here for about 3 years. Its awesome.The staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment is pretty good and maintained to a good enough standard. Im not gonna say this is the best gym around, but for what its supposed to offer, it does a pretty damn good job at it.

The staff here are great. Ive worked out at about a dozen Anytime Fitness gyms from Virginia to British Columbia and this one is very clean compared to some other AF gyms I have visited. The hospitality, accommodation, and approachability of the hard-working staff here is great. Joy is incredibly helpful and friendly.

If I could give negative stars I would. I specifically called this gym to confirm their staff hours and that someone was present and told them I was interested in dropping in. When I get there I enter through the GUEST door. Yes the door actually said “Guest Door”. I patiently wait for the person in charge as she was talking to some other ppl even though I’m pretty sure I could have just started working out as I doubt she noticed I entered the gym but I didn’t want to just start working out for free. When she was done talking I asked if I could sign up/purchase a guest day pass. She said it was a members only gym and they don’t allow guest. Ummm...why is there a “guest door”?? Why wasn’t this mentioned to me on the phone when I called? I have been a member of an Anytime Fitness in the past and have family members who are current members and all of the other locations we have been to allow for guests. This gym 👎🏾. Customer service 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾.

Very convenient, nice facility. Not enough classes offered,especially during the day.The few they have are very early mornings.You need to know what you are doing here, virtually no instruction or professionals available

It is a little gym, good for you if you are close to there. Not many equipments, enough if you are not professional and prefer an inexpensive gym. There are a couple of group classes like Yoga.

3 stars because the facility is small, but still really nice and the location is very convenient. The staff/trainers arent the greatest, however. I understand they are not receptionists/this is a gym, but they very rarely answer the phone, repond to email, and never call you back if you leave a voicemail. Ever. Also, they are incredibly unresponsive and a little unprofessional. I did not get the sense that my trainer or the manager of that location actually cared about their job/the people in there.

I live about 20 miles away and was nearby with 1.5 hours to kill. This business turned down $20 to let me work out for this time. Nice to see businesses so flush with profit that they can turn down business, and inspire bad reviews as well. If this place ever closes for lack of business, I hope they remember this review.

Good assortment of workout machines

The equipment is fine. I love the AF chain. I’ve been to gyms all over Nova. But this gym is dirty. I would describe it as crusty. The bathrooms are never cleaned. And when they are they aren’t clean. They’re wiped down. Lysol spray is left out and everyone uses it all over the toliets and sink so there’s a film on everything. This is the only gym I’ve been to that is consistently not kept clean. The studio floor is dirty and the walls need some tlc. The location and equipment is good it’s just not well kept. I’ve been a member since winter and it’s always looked this way. I prefer fairfax or Centreville. They are amazing. When I go I try to avoid using the bathrooms at all costs. Even to change.

This place is pure garbage! Poorly ran with NO managment! My wife was looking for coaching and classes. They claim to offer but dont have any of this. The manager does not have a clue here!

I came here to inquire about a membership. There was no one at the desk. I waited for 2 minutes after yelling out hello?!?!. A guy comes out and says we are with someone right now, well get to you when we are done. I said...ok, ill be next door, get me when youre done. Nothing happened after an hour. I came back, still no one up front. They didnt ask for my phone # or anything...If another gym opens up around this area, this will be shut down for sure...

Terrible experience. I had a Groupon pass that expired when I was leaving the area. AFTER I MOVED AWAY, I was still getting charged for this gym while I was paying another Anytime Fitness gym membership for where I currently live. I called the gym and left several voicemails, with no answer. I called customer service, who incorrectly told me I had cancelled my account, that I still was paying for. This gym has terrible customer service and a staff that gives you incorrect information. When you try to cancel your membership, they run you through hoops. I will never again patron this facility and I recommend you avoid this scam at all costs. I only gave them one star, because I had to select a star in order to post this.

Beware, you cannot cancel your membership earlier than its expiration date. You cannot cancel the membership in the gym or over the phone. I called the ABC financial representative (recommended by the gym) and was told the only way to cancel a memborship is to show proof of a move that is more than 10 miles from that gym. So, even though Id like to pay the early cancelation fee that most gyms offer, I cannot do that with this gym - you are stuck with whatever term you originally sign up for. On that note, all policies are auto renew. In order to stop the auto renew from happening, you have to mail in a letter asking for that to happen. This is by far the most cumbersome way of running the financial side of a business Ive seen in a long time, but hey, its a good way for them to guarentee more money for themselves.So BEWARE, only sign up if youre willing to commit to your monthly payment no matter what.That said, everything else about the gym is very nice and very pleasent. The gym staff have been great and the facilities are nice and clean with plenty to offer. Though it is on the small side, so during peak hours youll be waiting for a machine more than likely. Overall Id recommend the gym if, and only if, you know for sure that youll attend for the entire 1-2 year commitment you sign up for.

I meant to give them 0 Stars ... but it’s not possible...The Mix fitt & Zumba was the reason I joined but every time I go there the class is canceled for one reason or another they have a high turn over rate with their employees I pay 40.00 a month and cannot get the services that Im entitled too Im going back to Planet Fitness I wouldnt recommend anyone to the Rose Hill Location The bathrooms are also gross

How are they gonna call it anytime fitness if theyre only open most days from 10-8? Should call it 10 to 8 fitness.

Do not go to this gym, they will reap you off your money and make you sign an unexplained agreements plus you are never able to cancel your membership.
