I have been to see Dr. Lynch and his team twice now for an exam, cleaning and minor cosmetic concern. Both Of these visits have been during COVID and the staff is very cautious and considerate of my safety and comfort. I’ve never been kept waiting and always feel like I’m their VIP of the day. Aside from the glamorous office and relaxing tunes, you can tell Dr. Varipapa takes his craft seriously and runs a first class practice alongside his kind and proficient staff.His modern equipment, personal attention and attention to detail is why he knew my course of treatment was to align my teeth before restoration. He explained that moving forward with restoring the missing teeth without aligning them first would result in more damage due to an underlying issue. This was my first visit to Dr. Lynch and I was worried, as my other dentist was wonderful. Dr. Lynch immediately impressed me with his enthusiasm, clear explanations, sure hands and painless touch. I had four crowns prepped, so this was an enormous amount of work for one session. I had a lot of local anesthesia but I did not feel even one of the injections! When I was a young girl, an accident broke a front tooth. Over the next 30 years, every kind of repair was done on the tooth. Bonding, veneers, pins and more. Unfortunately, nothing balanced my smile and the work was always poorly done. The result? Dr. V and his team are amazing! I was feeling really discouraged about having an ill-fitting and poorly matched crown replaced on one of my front teeth. Every time I looked at the crown I thought about the accident that caused me to break my teeth and felt grief. I had been told by other dentists I would need multiple crowns and veneers to fix the issue. Dr. Vs approach was far more conservative and in line with my wishes. My new crown is absolutely amazing. I am so impressed with how well it matches my other teeth, and my front teeth are finally even again now that I have a crown that fits properly. I am so happy I went to Dr. V. I just came from an appointment with Dr Varipapa and it was the highlight of my day. They are such a nice group of people and l never feel pressured to get treatment or X-rays. I had some work done a few years ago and it is still holding up and looks great. Dr. Han is thorough, super friendly, and a delight--how many people can say that about their dentist? She and the rest of Dr. Varipapas staff make going to the dentist a pleasure. It might take a bit to get used to the extreme individualized service you get in this practice, but once youve experienced it, youll never want to go back to the factory-style offices.

My wife and I have been going here since before Dr. Bernard Lynch took over from Charlie, whom we loved, and Bernard has definitely proven a worthy successor.During COVID Bernards practice has been very careful to ensure we feel safe there. My daughter had a genetic condition that no dentist was able to figure out. It wasnt until we saw Dr Varipapa that we understood exactly what her problem was. The others wanted to take out all of her teeth and give her dentures. Dr Varipapa was able to save her teeth and restore them beautifully. After that her personality blossomed, she tried out for cheerleaders and made the squad she took karate and got her black belt she excelled at school and even surprised us all when she told us she wanted to go to college she went from hiding her smile just smiling and lighting up the room! My dental story was a horror story before I met Dr Varipapa and his great staff.I had had problems as a child and was scared to death of the dentist. The dentalwork I had was falling apart. I had gone to another dentist to have my frontteeth done before my wedding and it was a nightmare. I finally found Dr Varipapaand his wonderful staff, they did an amazing exam like I had never had beforeand explained all of my options. No one had ever taken so much time with me. Icould see why he was a Top Dentist with great dental reviews. I decided to breakup my treatment into the three part s they told me it could be done in and theresults were fantastic. I decided to get my front teeth redone but did not want to end up with one of those ridiculous fake smiles I had seen in so many ads. Expecting the best, I scheduled an appointment for a consultation at a big, well advertised dental group in Washington DC. I had to wait in a huge, crowded, uncomfortable waiting room. Then I was ushered in to one of many exam rooms. The Name dentist made an appearance, introduced himself, chatted briefly and then excused himself for a few minutes to check on some things. He disappeared down a long hallway lined with many exam rooms and waiting patients. An associate dentist came in and told me that he was actually the one who would do my teeth, and that they would be completely done in a few days. Pretty scary for a picky girl like me! I was told I could pick up copy of my estimate at the financial desk on the way out. The financial desk suggested I go to the financial office to discuss payment options with their financial associate. So much personal attention and I had not even committed to the job. I couldnt get out of there fast enough!Fortunately, an acquaintance (with beautiful teeth) highly recommended Dr. Varipapa. I immediately scheduled an appointment. Wow! What a different experience! I walked into a beautifully done townhouse and immediately felt my blood pressure drop a few points. Clarissa greeted me with her warm and friendly personality, making me feel right at home. Kala, Dr. Varipapas dental assistant, is sweet, caring and made me feel very comfortable.And finally, the Star of the Show (drumroll please...)Dr.Varipapa! He is so wonderful and spent a lot of time discussing my expectations and the options available. He put pictures of my smile on his computer so we could see what we were talking about. It was obvious that he knew the technicalities of creating new teeth but also that he was an artist who took into consideration the shape, color and translucency of the teeth, all important aspects of creating a beautiful smile.Well, of course, Dr. Varipapa re-did my front teeth and exceeded all expectations!
