I respond to a job posting Express listed on Indeed for a Safety Coordinator position. The staff was quick to respond to my Indeed inquiry and was interviewed by both Express and the employer on the same day. I was quickly offered a position and was able to begin work the following week. The transition from paperwork to employment was seem less which allowed me to focus on my new position without distraction.The staff at Express Employment Personal were friendly and well organized. I was confident in the process and pleased with the outcome.

Woman on the phone scheduling interview was extremely rude. Appointment was at 10am. Arrived early, filled out paperwork and was forgotten for thirty minutes. When I finally walked out the woman was annoyed and rude with me for not wanting to wait around on her. I explained my appointment was at 10 and it had been well over 30 min being forgotten. No other clients, no one working with anyone, just all sitting around. Very unprofessional and left me feeling as though this would be the way they would treat me moving forward.

Very friendly staff and found me the perfect job. My only complaint is when I went back to do some paperwork and came back out my recruiter had disappeared but someone else was able to finish my assignment process.

Kari is my recruiter at Express and she is just the best there is. Watching her work is exhausting, she has juggling and multi tasking down to an art. I literally watched her replying to multiple emails while having multiple conversations with employers and employees all while getting all of my paperwork done to begin a new job and communicating everything I needed to know without skipping a single beat. Express is lucky to have her..the amount of work she gets done in fifteen minutes makes me dizzy but she does it all while also being very warm and welcoming. If you need a job go see Kari!

I liked them at first but I told them I was going to another interview for another job and they were ok with it at first but then called me back and said I couldnt work for them anymore. I worked a full week and havnt been paid yet. They dont act like they want you they just want the money you make them. Very poor experience for me overall. Some of the ladies are extremly nice though and made me feel welcom.

The lady I talked to said she would set me up a drug screen and said she would call and tell me the time and date did not went through email and I didnt get it then I call back a couple of weeks later wanting to know why she didnt call she said I sent a email now I have to wait 6 mouth thats crazy she said she would fix it but did not worst place ever

I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Ended up getting the sick. I had to go to the hospital on my start date. I was told to bring a doctors note before they could place me. I was out for a few days with the flu under a doctors note. When I went to give them the note they were rude and started demanding me where to sit the note over and over. They wouldn’t even let me talk without interrupting me. I tried to call back the day before I could return to work and Melissa wouldn’t even take my call or return them.

Great warm welcoming staff as soon as you walk in the doors. I wanna thank Malyssa and Connie for such a welcoming and helpful visit I had with yall today. Walked in looking for employment left with a greater opportunity then expected such a great staffing company 5 stars all the way thank you all so much for everything.

This place is amazing when it comes to helping you find a job. They talk with you see what you are looking for and match you up very well i have used them a couple of times in years past and they have always come through for me. If you need a job speak to Jaclyn she has been the one that has helped me very friendly and understanding.

Will not go back.,No communication at all between the office people. Told to come in for a few papers to sign, get there only to completely fill out everything that was filled out online. Never told about a drug test, which is fine., but a little communication would have been greatly appreciated. Took 3, 1 the temp was off,, and how that happened, 2 wasnt enough fluid. So more less a bunch of run around BS other than anything else. You are better off finding your own job.

Express Employment has helped myself and my family on numerous occasions. My husband came through Express and got his full time direct hire position. I then came to this office and had an amazing interview and started work that same day at a company I was then hired directly with. A few months later my Father-In-Law came in and is now working at a great company as well. Highly recommend this staffing agency to anyone seriously looking for work.

Due to my chosen career as an artist, I often have slow periods when I turn to employment agencies for work to take up the slack. I have worked and resided all over the country and this has always worked well for me, with Express Employment offices being my first choice.Until I Used the Alcoa office.I was told the position would be 40 hours, 5 days a week. Turned out it was a mandatory 6 days, 11 hours a day, which conflicted with the weekend job I already had, which I had made clear, and Express was aware of. The hourly pay was also $2.00 less than I was told it would beThey got a one star rating only because I couldnt them less.

I worked for this agency for a short time between careeer moves. I was assigned to the largest employer in the County. After performing what I thought was an excellent service for more than three weeks, I was called in the middle of the evening by Janie and told not to return, but given a glowing recommendation and would be considered for the next assignment. I never received another assignment, and only found later that Janey was lying about future work, and even reported to the State that I refused work. Janey was never reachable, and only less so after the fact. I will never set foot in this office or work for Express, or Janey again. But I would like a word with her, as you can only imagine. Stay away from Express.

Ive been w express employment professionals for nearly 5 years now, Ive gained un imaginable experience in all sorts of fields. not to mention near every time Ive needed work they found it for me. kerrie is who I personally recommend but is very busy. just want everyone to know my names grant cogburn and I stand by Express!

I received an e mail from a job i applied at stating they had some positions available for me and to come in for an interview. I waited about 35 min just to talk to someone because they were to busy trying to decide if they want fries with their food or not. I told them what type of positions i am looking for. Knowing my unstable job history from moving i knew it would be a bit hard. They then recommend a job i didnt even ask for. They ask me to leave the room to talk a few min and i come back. They said they couldnt offer me a placement for 30 days because supposedly the process takes that long. They still didnt even really tell me what jobs other than the call center that i said no too. This is my first time using temp and i would never use one again.on top of all that you have to do a drug test which is fine but they should notify you so you dont sit there chugging water and wasting more time. I ended up leaving because the experience was a waste

I dont have anything against express just their client Coopers containers in Maynardville I was hired to work there on a Wednesday and by Monday they called express and told them to end my assignment because the manager thought I was weird and I found that out through fellow employees that where still working there when I got my assignment ended so if anyone is wondering y Coopers cant keep people thats y

I was very disappointed with this staffing agency. First as I was walking in their where carrying cases of beer into the office. Okay weird and unprofessional. Secondly, I was told to go to 2 different offices totaling about 5.5 hours of my time to be offered nothing, with jobs posted that I am more than qualified for.This is a company that did not help a college graduate with supervisory in a manufacturing facility or 4 years of research and development in a lab and field position to even send out a resume. As a recruiter its your job to help qualified candidates find employment to utilize their skill sets and not insult them by calling them a month later to offer minimum wage. The recruiter was not helpful and looked at my last position while going back to school as the basis of my experience, just not acceptable. I used Kelly services who within 2 business days got me an interview for a 45k job and now we are looking for temps and looking anywhere but express.

Horrible company to work for. Unless u just badly want to work i suggest finding another agency.
