Awesome gym! Professor Souza is very knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about jiu jitsu. He is really good at teaching all of the details that put that extra bit of power and control into your moves. Our team is really supportive of each other and we all work hard. Ive been doing really well in tournaments and superfights since I came to Carlson Gracie.

Friendly, welcoming gym. Huge, clean mat space in a mall. The instructors pack an impressive amount of exercise and skill development into the hour long classes. Strong womens program. Lots of classes and times to choose from. I received helpful feedback from several training partners and the instructors.

Been here since last year and I love the atmosphere here finally found a home very traditional gym hands down the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in New Mexico

I have four sons that go to this gym and two nephews we love this place Professor Daniel and Gabby are fantastic with the children I have a three-year-old they pay tons of attention to him and he loves going every day all of our children do from the youngest to the oldest they get the attention they deserve from the professor every time they step on the mat he pays one on one attention with each kid highly recommend this place.

My experience in this gym so far has been wonderful, Profesor Daniel Souza shows care for his students and I truly feel his intention to teach the art to be in good faith. The camaraderie is very family oriented which is not found often with commercial gyms. When it comes to practicing technique and sparring with my fellow comrades there is no ego involved at all. We take into consideration when someone is going through discomfort or when its someones very first day, week, and month training.Also, It is great to see Profesor work with the children specially the advanced colored belt kids that have been training with him for years. This is the best Jiu Jitsu academy in the state of New Mexico my kids been with Professor Daniel Souza since he came from Brazil he is not only our professor he is our brother he doesn’t only show my kids Jiu Jitsu he teaches them values morals and how to be a better person on and off the Matt my kids where not born champions but Taught how to be a champion how to act like a champion and how to fight like a champion. I’m thankful my friend told me about this Brazilian Academy. The training environment is second to none. The team is more like a family. We all genuinely care for each other. I competed in a tournament with only 4 weeks of training BJJ. The whole team was cheering each other on the whole weekend. All the hard work paid off and Coyote team took the 1st place overall team and a few more 1st place team. I’m glad I started going to Coyote.

I’ve been attending this school for a year now, it’s more like family. Professor Daniel truly cares for others and always puts himself last. Coyote is also great for the kiddos teaches them discipline and respect. I’d recommend anyone come here and train.

I love this place because you become like a family and they all help each other. My grandson loves it and it is teaching him respect, discipline and how to work as a team. I saw his excitement when he attended his 1st competition and recieved 2 medals. It was inspiring to him and his family.

I have known Daniel Aka- Coyote since 2016 and he is an exceptional BJJ professor. Everyone at the gym is there to train, have fun, and is welcoming to anyone who shows up. There is no ego in this gym nor does Daniel condone that attitude. I began jujitsu without any martial arts background. You do not have to be in shape to begin BJJ and you train at your pace. Highly recommend!!!!

My kids enjoyed the team. The teaching style is different compared to other gyms around Albuquerque. In my opinion there needs to be more coaches helping the kids learn. During the year my kids were at this academy, it was usually just the head coach teaching the entire group of kids. I feel like my kids learned more techniques at home rather than in class because of the lack of coaches. The prices are fair for the amount of classes that are available. Overall a good academy to attend.

Absolutely love this place!! When I first started going here, it was an escape and need for better training. I soon learned to love it not only because of jiu jitsu, but the huge family environment that you are immersed into.
