A wonderful visit to Comfort Dental on Rio Bravo! From the moment you walk in the door… to the moment you leave they treat you like family. My dental assistant, Stephanie, was friendly, informative and fun to talk with. She explained everything as she went along. Dr. McGarry greeted me with a smile, great conversation and let know what my teeth situation looked like … and the best way to correct the issues I had. I was very pleased with the whole visit. To top it off … as I walked out the door the receptionist gave me a nice wave and wished me a wonderful day. A truly pleasant experience all the way around.

I really like Comfort Dental,very friendly staff and Dentist.And my daughters braces are so affordable. I was so scared that I couldnt afford them and to my surprise with half of my insurance coverage and 120$ a month in house payments,Im as happy as can be.

I had an appointment here last week, it was my first dentist visit in 15 years. I have an irrational fear of the dentist and was terrified of going to my appointment, however, I couldnt be happier with the level of care and patience I received here. Everyone was so kind and understanding of my fear, and Dr. Clark was an absolute ANGEL! I have been to so many dentists and had so many horrible experiences that I could fill a book with them. I hadn’t had a single decent experience until my first appointment at Comfort Dental. It was better than decent, it was so good I left with a smile on my face. It’s been 7 years and 3 dentists/locations since then and I have never walked away unhappy. Comfort Dental consistently provides excellent care at very affordable prices (as affordable as dental work can be anyway). Every dentist of theirs I’ve dealt with has been extremely respectful, gentle, knowledgeable, great at their job and, strangely enough, very attractive (which isn’t important but is a nice perk). When it comes to my mouth, I won’t trust anywhere else.

I am an old person and have had many dentists - Dr. McGarry is the best. He works so fast and accurately, His recommendations are always clear and sensible.The office staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are very reasonable.

To say my visit was great is a understatement! I had a fractured tooth, called this office & was immediately offered a same day appointment. I went two days later due to not having a sitter! From the front office to the back office, they couldn’t be better! Brenda was extremely sweet & made everything quick and easy! Dr. Galvin was also excellent. I worked for a dentist for many years & this was as comfortable as having work done with the dentist I worked for! Dr. Galvin explained my options in depth & we decided on treatment together. I went back in today for a follow up & Brenda was my assistant again! Dr. Galvin had me in and out of the office within 30 minutes!I’m extremely happy I found this office when I did & definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist! I’d request Dr. Galvin if at all possible!

I have gone to Dr. Cody McGary for years, I used to take my kids to a pediatric dentist and I decided to switch them over to my dentist. They are great with children and give us education behind whatever they are doing.

I came in for an emergency extraction on a wisdom tooth and Dr.Salazar had some time after the exam she was quick and her team was all very nice and took care of me right away.

I have a been a patient here for about 5 yrs or so and Dr Janice Salazar is my doctor. The office is clean & neat, the employees are all very nice. When it comes down to talking dollars I always know what I am agreeing to. Dr Salazar is very patient but thorough and you feel like she genuinely cares about you as a person. Wouldnt think of going anywhere else.

I have been going to Comfort Dental since 2017. My dentist is Dr Galvin and he is the best. He handles my mouth with great care. Constantly making sure I’m doing ok. He communicates very well with what he can do in the perimeter of your insurance and even discusses out of pocket options if necessary. I was pregnant during that time frame and after the baby was born, I became too busy to go. After a couple years, I needed to return back for more dental work and he treated me as if I had never left. I feel like an individual not just another nameless patient. I would recommend Comfort Dental to anyone, more specifically I would recommend Dr Galvin!

Ive been going to Comfort Dental since 2011 Dr. Clark is such a wonderful, patient and knowledgeable dentist. No surprises and he explains everything. When my front tooth broke on a Saturday it was no problem to get it fixed was in and out no of the office in no time at all.

Ive been going to Comfort Dental of Rio Bravo for 1.5 to 2 years now. First and foremost, theyve always acknowledged my presence whether it be with the receptionist at the front or the assistant, and the dentist.I was lucky to end up with Dr. Janice Salazar, DDS. There are 3 other male dentists at the building. Dr. Salazar always listens to my concerns and worries. Im 35, its really hard to find a good, honest, consistent, great dentist, that actually care about your health. I know through personal experiences. There is such a thing as malpractice and it happens more than it should.Ruben, the assistant who i interact with after the receptionist, but before the dentist is always calm and willing to answer any of your questions and gives nice directions while he sets you up. Whether its to start cleaning your teeth or take x-rays.Dr. Salazar is awesome. Shes nice and has a very calm demeanor. Being focused would be a good quality of a dentist and she has it! I let her know that i have a mental illness and have been trying to get to a better hygiene level, where my gums dont bleed when i floss. I know what i need to do, floss more. I let her know places that i have a hard time getting to and she makes sure theres no tartar or plaque build up with her equipment. Shes real gentle with all of her tools that she uses to clean your teeth.This time, October 12, 2020 i had no cavities and teeth cleaned, and she prescribed mouth rinse that will help with gums when I floss as I increase in frequency. Which is the goal for Aprils 2021 visit!The first time i came in i had like 4-5 cavities and one she was thinking the filling wouldnt set and i could need a root canal. And if you need a root canal, you need a crown too. But the filling settled! They filled all my cavities in 2 visits, had the teeth cleaning and waited for my next visits!If youre looking for a facility that does high quality, gentle, dental work and does not discriminate against you in any way shape or form then this is the place. Even if you have a cavity in every tooth!

This was my first time getting dental work done here. I had not gone to a dentist since I sold my restaurant and moved down from Santa Fe three years ago. I am pleased with everything. I needed 2 root canals and some fillings. Everything went painlessly and smoothly . They were kind and professional . I’ll go more frequently now.

I was so nervous going as its been a long time since Ive been to a dentist. The staff was so friendly, and Dr. Galvin was very knowledgeable, and supportive, and patient when my anxiety kicked in. They also provided service to my teenage kids and they had a positive experience. I highly recommend!

Pretty sure the girl who cleaned my teeth was new but she did a pretty bad job.. she redid my X-rays over and over and OVER before she got them right. Also hit me multiple times (by accident) and got water all over me whenever she rinsed my teeth. Wouldn’t be so mad if my overall visit didn’t take two hours. All I had was a teeth cleaning. This should not take two hours.. I definitely will not be returning to comfort dental.

This place is very rude. My husband comes here for his dental work and I would prefer him to go to the dentist that I see. They made it clear that I could not go back with him and I understand because of covid but the last time we were here I could wait in the lobby for him and now she told me that I could not wait in the lobby either. Ridiculous. I will not be recommending this location to anyone else..

My name is Cynthia and I just had an appointment at comfort dental this morning all I have to say about that place is the people are very courteous kind and sweet I didnt have to sit and wait for a long period of time at all as soon as I got into the chair the dental assistant speaks to you and makes you feel very comfortable they took a comfortable x-ray and they also numbed me and made me very very comfortable the dentist is awesome he didnt hurt me at all I hate going to dentist offices for that reason because Im scared but it was very very pleasant like I said everyone there is kind the dentist was amazing he didnt hurt me like I said at all if any place I would recommend for someone to go to the dentist too it would be comfort dental for sure!!!!

What a great dentist office! My tooth broke and I needed an emergency root canal. Dr. Galvin and Savannah were so great to get it taken care of quickly. People talk about root canals being miserable, but I was in and out so quickly without any pain during or after.

Very clean and covid-19 safety conscious. After initial paperwork we went in to the higienist right away. Thorough checkup and cleaning, explanation of work needed was clear and understandable.

They made me feel like I was in a safe place as I hadn’t been to the dentist is years, but after getting my procedures done I felt very comfortable. My Dentist was also very gentle and caring!

Never fun going to the dentist. But the staff here are always more than accommodating! Anytime I’ve needed to been seen, they get me in a very timely manner and take great care of me.
