Overall my grandma and I had a very good experience. She was able to get a great used pair of hearing aids that she couldn’t otherwise have afforded and is very happy with them. There was a little lack of communication regarding leasing options at first, but everything worked out great. The audiologist was gentle and courteous, The assistant fitting the aids was thorough and made sure they were comfortable. My grandma commented that she was very nice. The front desk attendant was kind as well. I did not put in their names because I didn’t ask before writing this review.

This is an absolutely great place to get hearing aids. Not only are their prices same or better then anything you can get online, you also receive great in person care and attention. The entire staff are professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I am very happy with the hearing aids I now have and would highly recommend them

Placed an order a month ago and still waiting for it. Inquired several times about my order status and they never responded. They will charge your card immediately after ordering, most likely a scam site.

I have been working with these fine folks for about 1 1/2 years and I am so thankful that I chose The Hearing and Vision Center because without them I would simply not be in the incredible hearing aids I now wear. They initially educated me and then helped determine the best aids match for me. I didn’t even think I needed aids, but they have changed the way I lived my life by hearing better but also because of the advantage that the newer technology and being connected to my phone all the time makes …. & nobody else can tell. On top of all this, when my puppy chewed up my aids (ouch & beware puppy’s are drawn to ear wax) beyond recognition the aid company denied the repair (which had to be a replacement) for obvious reasons but the situation was grey based on the warrenty and Romey took it upon herself to persistently continue the dialog and was able to get my set replaced. Wow, how is that for service?!!! In a time where the standard for service has become mediocre at best, the Hearing and Vision Center provide old fashion, roll up you sleeves and let’s get to work service….. complemented by valuable expertise. Btw, this it the first full review I have done in several years, I simply felt compelled to share my good fortune.

Jim is fantastic! He answered all my questions and steered me to the hearing aids that were best for my hearing loss. I hardly ever leave reviews but in this case I must. If you need guidance and help with hearing loss you should most definitely come see Mr. Jim Blagg!

I would advise anyone not to come to this place to get services of any kind. Employees have lack of communication skills. Ive been waiting for a hearing aid for almost a month. When I called to follow up I was told my order has been sitting there because they misunderstood me the second time I specifically told the lady that I cannot pay the additional $250 out of pocket for the first order that I requested which was a rechargeable set. At that time I told her to go ahead and order the chargeable one. Again they excused themselves by saying I wanted the rechargeable ones. I speak and understand plain English very well. I dont think Im at fault here. And they tried to put the blame on me. What stupidity. I know very well the difference between rechargeable and battery operated hearing aid. Thank you but thanks for nothing.

Mr. Blagg is the best audiologist I have ever had and I have worn hearing aids for approximately 35 years so I have been to many audiologists. I also find him to be honest and have recommended him to friends. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I purchased aids when it was still the HEARING AID STORE. I have had exellent, honest, and thorough service from them since then. I lost the original aids and now am renting used aids which Jim was able to program for me. I am a very happy camper!!!

I needed to get a hearing aid and found the Hearing & Vision Center. I received a complimentary hearing test. The staff were professional and friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately, my insurance doesnt cover this particular place. I would recommend to others.

Everything was good, except it was hot outside (because of the virus) during my wait to meet with the hearing aid tech.

After several sessions we found the hearing aids that work very well for my needs. Jim is kind and knowledgeable, and support staff are competent and supportive. Dealing with hearing loss is not the most fun thing in the world to do, but well worth the time and $$.

I got a call from staff asking how my experience with my hearing aids and was asked if I would like to come in to have them checked. I jumped at the chance and felt so good because I had been meaning to call and make an appointment but kept forgetting. This was a proactive step that made me feel cared about and valued as a customer!!! I came in and saw Jim who is wonderful and he fixed all my concerns and performed a new hear test to see how my ears are doing since my last lest was 3 yrs. ago. I saw an ad for the Hearing Aid Store last year, checked the reviews on line & was impressed, so I made an appointment for my husband. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, Sylvia. We were seen almost immediately, coffee/water etc was offered. My husband felt at ease, his first hearing aids, and enjoyed talking/joking with the tester/technician. He ordered his hearing aids and has had no problems with them. I was pleasantly surprised to be called a few months ago by Sylvia to remind us of his annual check up for his hearing aids , which I had completely forgotten about. On our visit, my husband did mention that hed had a problem recently with one falling out & Jim, immediately offered several solutions, one of which solved the problem. Everyone is so friendly, it is a pleasure to visit their offices.

I have had my new Resound rechargable Hearing Aids for a little over a year now and find these to be the best Hearing Aids I have worn. I have worn some sort of hearing device for about 10 years now. What I have found most useful is the service I have received with multiple hearing devices at the Hearing Aid Store on Menual in Albuquerque, NM. Several months ago I had a rare occasion of one of the rubber ear pieces coming off and getting lodged in my ear. The staff at the Hearing Aid Store after several attempts made special arrangements for me to have the stubborn rubber tip removed from my ear by a Ear Nose and Throat Doctor. Today I returned to the store with a second set of hearing aids that I particularly like becasue of the Tele coil feature that it has which my Resound set does not. I like the Tele coil feature as our Church has a looping system and I find I can hear every word that is preached. The staff helped me get this second pair up and running again like new. I did not make an appointment and just walked in. I did not purchase this set from them either. I appreciate the Hearing Aid Store willingness to help me number 1 as a walk in and number 2 on devices they did not sell. I would highly recommend the Hearing Aid Store for those looking for new hearing aids or as I found out for those looking for maintenance on devices they may have purchased else where.Dan MartinezAlbuquerque, NM
