We have been going to the center for 10 years. The staff and the doctors have always been attentive and excellent. Dr. Sanchez is amazing. The staff are always fast to schedule appointments and follow up when necessary. I highly recommend ASLHC to anyone with hearing impairments and needs.

Seemed very informed, educational initially. Dr. Sankovitz talked rapidly & excitably, was hard to follow what was said. She did ear mold on left ear. Extremely painful, like post surgery painful. Inner ear was bleeding into next evening, had to keep cotton in 3days. Saw my ENT Dr. 2 wks later because ear was still sore &tender to touch, similar to post surgical pain. This mold impressn wasnt done correctly. It should NOT have been painful. Had to transfer care elsewhere, as I couldnt conceive of seeing her again SHE REALLY HURT MY EAR! She denied any errors. That triggered some childhood trauma from unessesary surgeries with Dr. denying any wrongdoing. Very Negative experience here. On top of all that, the bathroom is outside (?!), not very close, given big stick key just like gas station to unlock. Insulting, really. Im paying for..This? All together an uncomfortable place. Small, cramped office and rooms, bldg.outdated. Am consulting another professional about this experience due to careless procedure. Am glad I didnt bring my son here. He did very well with a caring speech therapist with Aps. Its possible to find resources for speech/language tx that are low or no cost. There are some good people & resources in APS itself, where child is close to home and not have to go to a facility like this office, where parent is charged higher price & possible confusing billing practices. Please explore your oprions!

BEWARE: THEIR NEW PATIENT FEE IS NOT WELL EXPLAINED NOR COVERED BY INSURANCE. Clinicians are apparently great, though. Why would you charge your new patients an extra fee? Do you not actually want new patients? Im scared to send my husband back to you because I dont know what fees hell come back with.

My son has been coming here for several years. He was initially seen for a hearing test and is now getting speech therapy. Anyone can now understand him and he can hold great conversations. His personality is now shinning and its a beautiful thing seeing him come this far. Everyone from the the administrative staff to the clinicians have always been wonderful, very knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding. Never have we gotten anything but the best from them.

I originally had my oldest son set to go in for speech. All the staff was extremely helpful from the beginning. They double check what my insurance was going to cover and what my copays would be. They let me know exactly what would be covered. My son attended for a couple years and then my youngest started to have the same issues. With both boys attending they made it convenient for them to be seen at the same time so that I wasnt going back and forth. In the mist of my children attending the center I changed jobs which meant I changed insurance companies. I informed them of the change right away and there was little interference with the therapy. Again, they let me know what the insurance would cover and what my copay would be. Both of my boys graduated from the speech program and sound terrific. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Their clinicians are great. Business & insurance wise...got taken to the cleaners! In the full year we attended, they almost never had a correct balance or co-pay, & almost never got a business statement from them. Then our insurance coverage changed & all of the sudden we were hit with enormous fees, which I take responsibility for not checking with my insurance for & found out $300+ later. Make sure you keep tabs with your insurance company! Their business/insurance dept. WILL NOT, at least that was our experience. Their business director also has a bad habit of coming into the reception area & talking inappropriate shop (Id hate to have her as a boss) & using colorful language heard also by another parent in my presence...unprofessional. I learned it was her after referencing their internet homepage under staff listing. Anyway, theyre a rip off for what we saw them for.
