I really like the staff. They were courteous and friendly. Dr. Dunlap has been an excellent optometrist. Im really going to miss him and I wish him and Janice nothing but the best as they start their next journey in life.

I have a history of very poor eyesight and do not trust my eyes to anyone. I had needed new glasses for awhile but because I am a recent cancer survivor, I was told to wait at least six months after I completed chemo to get new glasses. While I found the staff very friendly, for the most part, and knowledgeable, because they are corporate owned, unless you have a normal prescription, you will wait for your eyeglasses. I ordered a pair of glasses with progressives and a pair of scrip sunglasses with straight vision. The progressives took six weeks to get in and the sunglasses, nine weeks. While the staff cannot control the optical department as all of the glasses are outsourced to the corporate lab, the majority of the revenue of an eyeglass center, is the optical department. I highly recommend the doctors and the staff, I recommend you get your eyeglass prescription and go elsewhere to have that filled. The staff is friendly but they seem to be irritated when customers are not happy being forced to wait more than a month for glasses. While there may be nothing they can do, not realizing the frustration of customers who have yet one more thing to add to their cancer battle does not help.

Love the Dunlaps and sorry they will be retiring. But I’m happy for them to enjoy their next years. The staff there are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Everyone was very friendly, kind and professional. Dr Eddie Dunlap has always been the best doctor.I was supposed to get my glasses adjusted before I left and forgot to.

Rate a 10 -great service in every step of the process and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Angela at the Albemarle office is very helpful and knowledgeable in helping you chose the right kind of frames. Dr. Eddie Dunlap does a thorough exam of your eyes and takes time to listen to any concerns you may have. He is very personable and so is all the staff through out the whole exam and glass fitting process. You feel welcome from the office staff that check you in all the way until you check out. Also do a great job with sanitizing everything after each patient. If you are looking for an eye doctor would highly recommend the Eye Care Center in Albemarle, NC.

Dr. Janice is so kind and explained my issues so I could understand. Amy and Jessica helped me pick my frames and checkout without problems. So nice of a group.

Very good selection of frames and a friendly helpful staff. Thought the prices were reasonable for a boutique vision center. Eye exam was professional and done without extensive waiting. Like the retinal imaging to track potential issues and eye changes.

We were hesitant to change doctors after ours retired. We never thought wed find one so caring and actually willing to spend time with you at your appointment. Dr. Eddie exceeded our expectations in every way possible... He was amazing! Both my husband and I were amazed at our new prescriptions for contact lenses - our vision improved! Now my husband can see much better and much clearer having the right Rx. (It had been awhile since our last appt due to our last doctor retiring).
