If I could give 0 stars I would. The only friendly and helpful workers here are Matt at the front desk and Reagan in the lab. The Albany office has no problem taking my money but for the second time in a row, never sent out my lab work. Lab work that is extremely important to finding out what is going on. Will play the blame game on whose fault it was. Horrible communication within the office. Extreme lack of concern about your health, only concerned with how youll pay them. Doctors go on vacation so much youre never able to get ahold of them. When theyre in office they still wont call you back. The two times my doctor has actually called me back, took him weeks, and made sure to call two minutes before closing with no way to get in touch with him. AVOID THIS PLACE! Please go somewhere else for your health.

Fired them , awful and untrustworthy. I did find a wonderful oncologist on my own and was very likely to hire a great doctor. NOT recommended going at this too big to succeed place.

Waited all day for a call-back only to have the nurse refer me to my Primary Care physician because the doctor doesnt handle this - this being a lack of circulation due to the DVT/PE I had mistakenly thought the doctor was treating. Apparently, the only only thing this Practice does competently handle is taking your co-pay and your Insurers money

Ive been having chemotherapy since June with only one hiccup - my body couldnt handle one of the drugs and I wound up in the hospital! My doctor took that drug out of the mix and Ive handled the chemo very well ever since. The nurses who give the chemo are the nicest, kindest people anywhere!

Rexford office was OUTSTANDING. From the front desk to the nurses, Drs,& techs. I am not happy with the CPark office.I took time off work,( I cant afford,) cause I really need this scan. I took an UBER from Delmar. When I got there I was told the tech called in sick .I didnt get much of an apology,,just. We thought we called everyone Waste of time & $! If I did that they would charge me$50! Ive called back twice to reschedule & havent gotten a call at all.

This place, became like family over the course of last year. I cant thank them enough for all that everyone did to make sure the best care was given. This extends to the front desk to the technicians, the nurses (who are downright amazing ) the phlebotomist, the schedulers. Just like in any situation when you are receiving care, make sure to advocate for yourself. If I had any questions or concerns, someone would touch base with an answer. Space is a premium and this center seems to be larger than some of the other NYOHs in the area. In any case, you dont feel like you are sitting on top of some one. All of which is important when you are immune compromised. I knocked off a star, as I wish they had /offered more resources for patients for care outside of med treatment. I.e nutrition etc

I was a patient there 7 years ago and received 61 radiation treatments ...Doctor Doyle was my doctor and he was the kindest most respectful person Ive ever meant...between him and his nurses I dont think I could have made it and here it is 7 years later.... They all were awesome..

I really was hoping for a better experience. I am a new patient and I am still going through testing. I have placed 3 phone calls to inquire about my results and have not received a call back. Patients are already dealing with a potentially life altering diagnosis, no need to layer on the anxiety and stress, just call people back!

This place is a joke. Got referred to this place by my doctor for further blood tests and after a week I didn’t get a call from NYOH to schedule my appointment so I called my doctor and they said everything was submitted and that the place would be calling me shortly after they had to call NYOH. Maybe you consider a week shortly but to me shortly at least means by the end of the day. Nothing. So that week now two weeks from my referral date I get a call saying confirming your appointment for tomorrow. I never even got a call to set up an appointment how am I confirming something we’ve never set up.I went to the appointment got referred to another place for further imaging on a Thursday they said your doctor will have the results by tomorrow Friday. So Tuesday comes around I go hm no results yet. I call NYOH they said I’ll have a nurse call you. Friday rolls around still no call. So I call and they said we will have someone call you back today. I just got off the phone with the doctor because I called back and demanded to talk to someone. Not exactly the type of place that I would recommend to anyone. It’s a joke. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would in a heart beat.

HORRIBLE. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Let me make this clear, this is a business. It is not a place of compassion or comfort for someone who is at one of the lowest times in their lives. When you first walk in, youd expect that, when you are checking in, that the front desk staff would ask, Hello, how are you feeling today? The first words out of their mouths are, Whos your insurance through?....How will you be paying for this treatment today?....you owe $20,000...and .01 cent...how will you be paying? Dr. Garbo is highly uneducated on the latest treatments and technology, and is NEVER on site, but always on vacation with that $20,000 per treatment money. Therefore a patient can expect to receive the very first chemotherapy ever made, which could kill a person in a matter of days. A client can be sure to almost never see him on a regular basis, which ensures that he is not in touch with what is going on. We went to Rosewell in Buffalo NY, to get a second opinion, and it was AMAZING there, but my parent was too weak to travel back and forth to Buffalo for treatment. The doctors there, however, were STELLAR, immediately recommending my parent take a new treatment that had just come out. She called down to Albany to NYO, and told them to order it. NYO had NEVER even tried the new treatment on anyone. Dr. Garbo was livid and nasty with my parent about reaching out to someone else more knowledgeable. The newer treatment worked, my parents pain went away, and they gained weight. It was magical, and went back to work , leading a normal life. It was a miracle. Then one day, Dr. Garbo decided to give my parent Velcade....something that he is used to giving and familiar with. My parent is now knocked back down to no health. The treatment room is set up like a meat packing center with no privacy, and as many rows of chairs as possible to fit. Finally fed up, and switching to a new doctor, Dr. Garbo was supposed to have phoned in a new treatment, as the new doctors cannot, and it has been TWO WEEKS. My parent is getting incredibly sick by the day, and this office has not a care in the world. My parent has been hospitalized for a week, waiting for someone from NYO to simply call in a special order for a new and advanced chemo, so that my parent can start taking it....two weeks ago! It is now Sunday, going in to the THIRD week, and we are so afraid. There is no one to call in the special order on the weekends, and each day is getting significantly worse by the hour. They have monopolized the area, and done nothing but made a huge conglomerate of BIG BIG money making off of incredibly ill people. NO COMPASSION whatsoever.
