Absolutely the worst doctor!!! He has killed my mother multiple times and should no longer have his license. He has failed 8 times on the same surgery. My mother told him multiple times that her knee is hurting and looks infected he down played it and said it would be fine. Weeks later she ended up in the hospital with a fever and was extremely sick. The infection almost killed her. Honestly a shame to see that they gave this doctor his degree. When clearly he has no idea how to do his job right. Thank you for putting my family through hell for 8 years doctor u did a great job😡🙄

David Abraham repaired a torn rotator cuff, which healed beautifully. He also treats my low back pain and shoulder pain on the other side. He is pleasant, takes time to listen and is an excellent physician.

During Easter break in 2001 I incurred a sports injury that ruptured my left Achilles tendon. I was visiting family in Saranac Lake, NY (upstate in the Adirondacks), about 600-miles from my home in VA. A quick trip to the local ER confirmed the ruptured tendon. A call was placed to Dr. Abraham from Saranac Lake that evening and surgery was scheduled for 7AM the next morning. I drove from Saranac Lake to Albany, spent the night in Albany and reported to the surgery center promptly at 5:30AM the next morning. Dr. Abraham and his team performed the surgery w/o incident or complication. I was in a hard cast for several weeks, followed by a soft cast and rehab. At the time I did not think I would ever walk normally again. An Achilles injury can take a long time to heal and rehab, but here I am, 14-years later, running and still playing hockey as I approach my 60th birthday. I was treated with respect, care and dignity. I felt that his surgical team was committed to my procedure. The results have stood the test of time. This is the only surgery that I have had performed by Dr. Abraham, so I cannot speak to his skill with other areas of the body, but I would not hesitate to seek him as my surgeon again.

Dr. Abraham replaced both of my knees about eight years ago. After the first one, I told him there was a large amount of slack in the knee that caused the knee to pop in and out of joint with every step. He down-played it, and said it would go away. I asked him to please add a thicker shim in the second surgery to take up the slack. He ignored my request, did the second exactly like the first, and I have had two knees that pop in and out of joint audibly with every step for eight years. I described them as failed surgery to him and he simply rebuffed my comments. I would discourage anyone from having their knee done by Dr. Abraham. I have caused several friends to seek another surgeon over the years.
