I had to have a tooth pulled and they were kind enough to have me come in for a sit and wait instead of making me wait a month to get it pulled. I waiting a long while but it was worth it for the dentist I seen, Dr. Van De Graaf he was very kind and understanding and made sure he did what ever it took to make sure I was completely numb before extraction. The staff was kind and friendly as well, at times they seemed a little short with customers but those ladys were constantly on the phone helping patients and dealing with insurance all while checking people in so I still think they where doing an amazing job with everyone. I feel this dentist is worth going to I would recommend my family and friends to them.

I got all my wisdom teeth pulled and was put under anstisha. I had so much anxiety everyone who works there were so nice to me. Really calmed my nerves the best they could. Best dentist Ive ever been to. They did a great job taking care of me. And did perfect on the operation. Thank you Gental dental. Thank you to the doctor. And thank you Melissa the assistant for being so kind.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by these guys at their last location and I had a wonderful experience, and a great dentist, Dr. Van Der Graff. He was very good at explaining everything and was very compassionate. They definitely cared about my recovery. I was given a number to call for any issues I might have after hours and it turned out to be my dentists personal number. I recommend everyone come get there wisdom teeth removal here .They take good care of you.

I have gone to this Gentle Dental for several years and recommended them to my daughter. The office is always clean and tidy and the doctors I have seen have been great as have the hygienists. I was just there yesterday and had a fantastic hygienist clean my teeth!!

The front desk lady was extremely rude. I was all set up to go there this week after seeing the (NICE) people who work at Corvallis, but I will NOT be going here due to the RUDE LADY who I tried to talk to while I was sitting in the EMERGENCY ROOM. They contacted my dad who is dying of Cancer, even though I am 25 and he is not my legal guardian, hassled him into making up his mind on MY appointment, then when I called back they GAVE AWAY the date they originally offered. All within less than an hour.The lady was rude, made me and my dad feel even worse about a situation that landed me in the ER in the 1st place, and said to go somewhere else.. SO that is EXACTLY what we are doing, we are going somewhere else. DO NO go to this place they do NOT care about you, and when I did go in the 1st time for the initial exam they lied about when I Would be able to see a surgeon and there was spiders/webs all over the office... NOT sanitary for a place to work on teeth! OH and they LOST MY PAPERS/XRAYS so they wanted us to spend MORE MONEY.... NO WAY and I ever going to recommend this place, I would give it 0 stars if i could!!

I needed an extraction after losing a crown and was recommended to see Dr. Van De Graaf. Quick and painless and no after problems. Very impressed. So I decided Id transfer to this Albany office from Eugene...since I now lived in Albany. Yesterday I saw Dr.Joe Pham (go Beavers) for the most extensive exam I have ever received. I experienced the very best care from him and his hygienist Melissa. From the time I met with the staff at the desk until I checked out, I was met with courtesy and an unusual level of care. How often do you skip and sing when leaving a dentist office?

I have had pretty good luck with this Gentle Dental office. My dentist, Dr Huang, tries very hard to not cause pain. He gives the best numbing shots I have ever had during a dental visit for my entire life. He even called me the Friday after a Monday appointment because he was worried about the pain I had been suffering with with a crown and he didn’t want me to go thru any more pain for the weekend. HE CALLED ME, not a receptionist, not a dental tech, he checked up on me, which is usually unheard of with these co-op dental clinics. The only problem that I have had here is the scheduling, and billing if you have to change your appointment for any reason they are so busy that they will push you out for months, and sometimes their quotes on services can be off and will cost you a bit more. If I change dentists, it will be because they are so busy. I went in because I broke a tooth in early February, I didn’t get my final crown until April 23rd. That’s a little long to be in pain from a broken tooth, which is why my dentist called to checked on me.

The staff and Drs are very very nice. Had an emergency and they got me right in. Thank you for your friendly service.

Completely unprofessional. I definitely do not suggest it to anyone.My experience:I arrived 15 mins before my appointment time and was told that the doctor could not make it. I received no call or email. They request all your information to make an appointment on the phone but they do not reach you even when your appointment is canceled.I was told on the phone that this would be a comprehensive exam with treatment to follow if needed. At the check in I learned that the call center does not know the details and I can either have a sit&wait appointment with a focus on the treatment or comprehensive exam without a treatment. There is a clear disconnection between the call center and the dentist. So, do not trust what you are told on the phone.They asked why I didnt go to my dentist, which I do not have for begin new in Oregon. Funny for a representative to ask new patients why they did not try another dentist but maybe a hint to how unreliable the service is. I was suggested another appointment in 30 days :)

Great experience having two teeth extracted. Having teeth pulled isn’t something anyone looks forward to. Dr Vandergraaffe (sp?) and staff were wonderful. Professional, and thorough. No pain, the day after. Very appreciative.

Terrible experience. They sure do not provide the best customer service in reception . As they had an entire month to figure out how to bill my tribe for the remainder that my insurance from my work didn’t cover. I even talk to someone the day before and they said yes we will bill them your deductible and your out of pocket no problem christina , we got you ! Lol big lies ! I get there today at 7 am , and they are like oh no sorry we don’t do that just like we can’t bill the VA our only option is for you to pay out of pocket now . No ! I can’t do that ! My tribe said you guys can bill them directly , your reception said that just yesterday? Oh sorry Christina , too bad , we have to reschedule or you need to pay , you’ll have to call our cooperate billing and figure out WTH! You had a month to figure out and even assured me on the phone it was ready to go !! I think finding a Dentist somewhere else in Albany is a better idea . Dr Pham is awesome but honestly , I think I would of had better treatment if I wasn’t having them bill a Native American Tribe here in Oregon . I’m over this poor service . They clearly didn’t want to put in the extra work , to help me .

I had my teeth cleaned by Liz, she was very professional and did an amazing job! She was also very friendly and you could tell she really cares about your teeth.

Today was my 1 time in this gentle dental in Albany and i applicable everyone and there where very kind and helpful and when i seen the Dr he was very kind and Pasadena with me ! thank you gentle dental in albany for all you did today

Dr. Van De Graaf and his team were amazing!! There was one specific nurse, she had long blonde hair, and she was amazing. Seriously one of my favorites. Came in for a scheduled appointment for a broken bleading tooth and simply told I did not have an appointment. Then I showed her that I was receiving texts at that moment from them to confirm my appointment but she was not interested in such things. I thought for sure an explanation was deserved but she very blatently made it known she didnt care and continued with her ugly caddy aditude. She said we were welcome to sit around on the off chance someone did not show up. With no option on our side we decided to do this but were then told our insurance prevented them from seeing us anyway. This was something we had cleared up over the phone the day before and we were going to pay cash but again that was something she simply was not interested in. Having driven an hour for this treatment I was now very angry and I let her know in bad french as I walked out to go call whoever I had spoken with the day before. I was then confronted by 2 other disgruntled patients both stuck with this office for there own reasons and both with horror stories. I think this office has devolved to an unhealthy level due to people just not having a choice to go there. They care nothing for the patient and have no problem letting you know. Worst customer service I have ever encountered and red flags all over. Tried to get her name but she refused.

Dr. Van De Graff did my wisdom tooth extraction and it was done within 15 mins he also took time to answer my questions and ease my anxiety. No pain at all and I only used Nitrous Oxide. Highly recommend him for any extractions or dental work! Best dentist hands down.

Ive had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. van de Graaff on two different occasions (I didnt want to get them all removed in one operation). My wisdom teeth were deep (impacted) but he was able to remove them with minimal/zero pain. I only used one pain killer immediately after the operations as a precaution, but afterwards (several hours later) there was zero pain, so I didnt take any more pain killers.Dr. van de Graaff is really skilled and careful, so if you need dental surgery, then I highly recommend him (10/10 rating).

Ive been petrified of the dentist since childhood because of the well known BUTCHER DENTIST of Estacada, OR in the 60s, Stanley Scrivner.I have been told many horror stories about having teeth pulled for dentures.Dr. VanDeGraaf and his staff were most awesome to me!! Very sensitive and understanding. He prayed with me beforehand. I never knew I went to sleep. Just woke up and it was over.I will be telling everyone about Dr. VanDeGraaf and his staff. Even if they dont ask!!And when I need my bottom teeth done, I will return here!Thank you so much, Dr. VanDeGraaf and Albany Gentle Dental, for showing me I didnt have to be so scared after all!!Im home now healing nicely!

Been going here for several years no bad experience in terms of service from the dentist or technicians but the receptionist are the worst. Several times they have called me to reschedule over the years do to this thing or that and that’s not that bad cause I understand things happen and that can be frustrating. I have been on the fence about leaving for some time but today put me over the edge. Apparently, they moved locations yet their old location looks exactly the same. They I was scheduled for a 7 am apt when they opened show up 10 min prior and the doors are locked waited till 5 after and called them to discover for the first time they moved. So I drive across town approximately 8 min with the lights. Get there check in sit down and 10 min later the receptionist tells me we need to reschedule you. I informed them I’m not rescheduling and going to a new dentist. I’m sorry but if you fail as an company to inform them of moving and the old location is fully staged as if nothing changed then receive them and then ask them to reschedule your asking for loosing customers.

Had an appointment at 2 didn’t get seen till 3-3:15. I was early by 10 mins, 3 people got seen before me even though they came in 10-20 minutes AFTER me. Really annoying and they shouldn’t make so many appointments if they are so little staffed!

They dont set appointments for appropriate timing so you get stuck waiting a hour before you get seen or called in.!!! Not a great experience!!!
