Knowledgeable, friendly, professional dentist office! My dentist, Dr. Harris, is gentle and honest.1st reason for 5 stars: I have a chipped front tooth from having braces that they fixed. It fell off after a few months probably because my teeth moved a little bit after the braces were off and they fixed it for free.2nd reason: my hygienist is the best! The poke you in the gums thing they do, never hurts. She offers good advice instead of shaming. Finding a little gum inflammation she said, Looks like you have been missing this spot when youre brushing. Check this spot in the mirror once in a while.3rd: they give text reminders for appointments. I never answer the phone. This is perfect for me.

Elm Street Family Dental was easy to contact, worked quickly to get me an appointment that fit my schedule, and to top it all off they called me when the appointment ahead of mine cancelled so that I could come in early. This allowed me to complete both my exam and cleaning in the same visit rather than need to return for a second appointment. The dentist, hygienist, and staff were friendly. Great experience overall. I will definitely return for future dental care.

I really liked my hygienist this time, I felt like she spent extra time really getting everything clean! I also really liked the lady who performed my whitening process however I didn’t feel my teeth whitened from the $500 process. It also resulted in me not be able to work the after pain and July’s of pain were too much to bare. It is not Elm Streets fault of course that I had pain following the procedure. The low score reflects the high price for poor results in the whitening procedure only. I would 100% recommended Elm Street Dental for regular services.

I LOVE these people! Went to them for the first time after an automobile accident eons ago, and have been going to them for my dental needs ever since. They’re all super nice and very friendly. My first visit was great. Everyone was very nice, and helpful to me. I still have a lot of work to be done, but I sure like the Dental hygienist, and Dr. Lane Harris. They are very personable.My work has now been completed, and I have a mouth full of beautiful teeth. I had extensive work done, and honestly, the very best dental work done. I had crowns, my bottom teeth built up, and a new set of partials made. I went back for one small adjustment, and my partials fit so well, they feel like my real teeth. I am totally satisfied with Elm St. Dental in Albany. Going to the dentist was not one of my favorite things to do until I found Elm St. Dental. I highly recommend them.

My 11-year-old was nervous about the dentist, and the hygienist was great. She was clear about everything that she was going to do, she was quick, and she didnt treat my daughter like a little kid. My daughter ended up needing a filling, and a different hygienist was just as clear about communicating. The filling was done in 20 minutes flat, and my daughter no longer dreads the dentist. Wonderful dentist and dental hygienist. We have gone there many years. My husband, who had PTSD from some drill happy old style dentists loves going here. For anyone with previous dental PTSD, you will be supported, heard and be able to trust you will not be in pain. Support staff is very nice also but the amount of appointment reminders is a bit overkill.

Dr. Harris and Heidi went above and beyond for us this weekend. My daughter broke her front tooth (an adult tooth) and they met us within 30 minutes to see her on a Saturday! Though I was pressured into setting up a time to get started on work- I declined, and rather, set an appointment with Elm Street Dental for a second opinion. The staff was exceptional, the Dentist was honest and upfront with what work needed to be done and what we could keep an eye on. I’m not one to schedule work right away, but after such a positive and reassuring visit, I scheduled right then and there for a much more reasonable cost, and much less “immediate work” to be done! I have finally found my new Dentist!
