Went to to this salon recently I have been here several times in the past, I went for a wash and set and trim, my hair is naturally very thick, when it was time to blow out my hair the stylist asked me do I speak spanish. I said no intentionally to listen to her bad mouth several clients in the salon including myself due to my hair being too much. As a stylist that is your chosen job to style the hair without complaining about it. Very poor customer service to make a client feel uncomfortable and hear about other people who have no idea. Just want to give people a heads up what truly goes on - a customer who will never return

I went to this salon after work about 2 weeks ago.... first let me say that the ladies are very friendly and the shop is cleanNow my hair is 4C hair it was bone straight when I left it came out amazing, however After 10 days it was time to wash my hair after applying shampoo and conditioner 3 times my hair STINKS it smells so bad I can’t determine if the smell is burnt hair or chemicals Hell its probably both after the washing my roots are STILL straight I have 4C hair this is not normal for any of my hair to be straight after washing.. and I used NO heat! the amount of smoke that was coming from my hair during blow drying had the whole shop Smokey they had to open the doors.. I am now sitting at work 24 hrs after washing my hair and that is literally ALL I can smellWHAT THE HECK IS IN THAT SHAMPOO??I would not recommend for 4C hair

Nice salon and conveniently located. Organized and respectful. Service all hair types from my observation/opinion. Parking is on street so careful for those who are not very good at parallel. I go on the weekends so its usually quiet not so much chatting while getting service done. Wait time is not too bad when you make appointments or call ahead. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Clean, it even looks black owned. Blowout didnt take long at all, 30mins and went straight to the root. Ima have this blowout for a good min! Id come back again. Great service.

I got my hair washed, straightened and dried. Now let me start with the good things- My hair was dyed red and the red was beautiful. I got this dyed in June 2018 and there is still red in my hair now! My hair was also beautifully straight. And they had very fair pricing. Now for the not so good. Number one, I was left under the dryer for a very long time, to the point the metal clips in my hair starting burning my hair and scalp. Also while straightening my hair- the hair dresser was very aggressive. And my last complaint is the the people didnt really talk to me throughout. It was cold- and very mechanical like. My hair also smelled BURNED. I had to buy very scented shampoo to get the smell out. And my hair started breaking after it- I will also say that I believe they relaxed my hair without telling me because of the way my hair started growing in. Overall I think there is probably a better place to go- but if you want a really good dye and are okay with not really being talked to, this is the place.

Ive been coming here for over 4 years and never had a bad experience. My hair always looks great and unlike other dominican spots they suggest any treatment your hair may need. Each stylist does an great job.

I went in asking for a simple color job and a trim. I wanted my color lightened to a light brown and a little trim. $160 later, I walked out with burnt skin (literally), brassy 2 COLOR hair (CLEARLY noticeable bleached roots and colored ends) and NO trim. When a customer tells you their head is BURNING and causing their nose to run, it doesn’t mean you rub in more of whatever is causing the burn, it means you as a “hairdresser” did something wrong! I literally have marks on my forehead and scalp from the barbaric ways this “hairdresser” handled coloring my hair. I shouldn’t have even paid because of how much damage was caused!!!! Not only did I have to seek medical treatment for my head bc of how burnt I am, but now I have to come up with MORE money to get my hair fixed by an actual professional. I’m definitely deserving of a refund!!! It’s been almost 24 hours and I’m still having headaches because of my burnt scalp and forehead!!!!! No wonder this place is cash only... I wonder how the IRS and State Tax Department would feel about that.... WORST PLACE EVER!!

Highly recommend! My mother and I have both been coming here for over 6 years and have never had one complaint! Always working hard making sure everyone gets in and out! The product they use is great for my hair, and I always leave happy !

Ive always gone here and never had a problem until recently. These people do not care about your hair, do not go here. They leave you under the dryers for way too long, to the point where I developed a huge blister on my scalp and didnt realize it until later in the evening. Youd think a salon that multiple people go to, the workers would actually care about their customers. Id give no stars if I could, $40 down the drain.

Have been here multiple times and always received great service. However I went a week ago to get a relaxer and blow out; not only did I not like the way it likes when it was done, but the relaxed burned my scalp. The lash didn’t talk to me at all and it was just not a great experience. It may have just been an off day for everyone but I was highly disappointed.

I love this place. i can trust my hair to them, bc they know whats the best for my hair texture. they have good conditioning treatments, and i know the wait sometimes is long, but is worth waiting for. you leave from there looking like a star! i recommend it to everyone! :)

I dont know if anyone remembers when Enve used to be next door to the store (there is currently another shop there). The owner was a Jamaican/Dominican woman. She used to have my hair on point. So when the new owners took over, I trusted them because they used to work for the old owner. I was a faithful patron. UNTIL THAT DAY HAPPENED.I went in for a trim. I usually dont blow my hair out because of all the heat damage. Well about 4 inches off, and I was told that was dead ends. My hair has never been the same. I started to notice that no matter what product I tried to use, my hair was always dry and brittle. I didnt wear my hair in ponytails, yet my edges seemed to be falling out. And the tipper was the bald spot.I had always had very healthy hair. Long and strong. Now I keep a short style because of the follicle damage. My hair is thin and wont grow not matter what I try.When I started at my new salon, the first thing my stylist asked was how long I was going to the Dominicans on Delaware because your hair is severely over processed, and thats what they do.

Went to get my eyebrows done and the stylist didnt know what she was doing. One eyebrow is now smaller and shorter and the other is bigger and barely was waxed. I had to sit in a hair stylists chair and lay in a super awkward position. Good thing it is only hair but when you have a big event coming up, you dont want ill looking eyebrows. $8 down the drain

I go here every week, the products they use are great, orginal and my hair is growing. I always buy their products because they really work. I came in the shop with a picture of the cut I wanted It was a drastic chop very short the owner she did amazing gave me exactly what I asked for all the women in the shop were very supportive it was a great atmosphere the wait can be long but its well worth because they take their time and do a flawless job

Ive been a loyal customer for almost 10 years. Everytime I go, I am welcomed with a smile and questions about my daughters and I well being. Sometimes the wait is long, but its worth. SEXISTI walked in the door and the lady was very rude and said can i help you? i just wanted a haircut from a salon not a barber shop. she said they dont cut mens hair 💇 i dont see a sign????Ill be sure to tell all the Beckys with the good hair to stay far away.

My hair wont stop falling out ☹ I wont be back spent so much money in a short time. I dont care about length, but I do care that its healthy, I didnt even get that. I tried and was very patient gave them 8 months and only thing I got out of it is my hair breaking very very bad lesson learned not sure what Im gonna do next. I think I should cut it and start over its so damaged...1 star is too much credit

The entire place smells like burnt hair. I went in and asked for a trim and she told me that the only way to trim my split ends was if they washed and straightened it. I washed my hair yesterday and I do not want to damage my hair by straightening it. This alone is an obvious sign that they know nothing about hair. Some of the girls working there did not even look old enough to have proper certification. I would not recommend. Enve salon is the epitome of ghetto.

They put relaxer in their shampoo because they cant handle natural hair and they dont tell you. Youll see damage on your own later on.

Terrible i was natural for 4 yrs an the perm my hair, told them that it seemed my hair was falling out. She said i need my ends cut, she cut about 6 inches off my hair but it didnt help. I washed my hair on my own an realized that was not my texture. My hair broke off became super dry an tough and completely fell out. I had to cut my entire hair off after and start over. I never was so angry an i told them what they did an they asked me to leave. I was faithful to them for 5 months an this is how i get repayed for being a loyal customer. If you are natural just go on youtube an do your own hair. I will forever be hurt over this, idk what kind of perm they used but it destroyed my scalp and all. I they need to be shut down. I have called many places to try an get a inspection of the place but nothing happen.

April 13th walkinSat in the 3rd chair on the left hand side of the wall. Does not remember girls name but states she looked like a kid. Says the girl mixed a white cream in a plastic bowl and poured a pink or purple liquid into the cream and stirred for a few mins before using a spoon to scoop the mixture out and put it in a conditioner bottle, shook it really well and applied it to her hair. My child states the girl keep rubbing/massaging the cream/conditioner in her head for an unknown amount of time and that her scalp was hot and tingling during the process. The girl  after an unknown amount of time washed neveah hair out, neveah said while the girl was washing the hair she kept reaching up to feel her hair and it felt very slippery and slimy.Neveah hair was than blown and straight and she was next picked back up by her aunt to go home. Her hair was PERMED WITHOUT PERMISSION!! SHE IS GOING BALD...

Do not go here!!! I walked out of there with my hair smelling burnt and I had to wash it the next day. I washed it 3 times and it still smells like burnt hair.

Before I moved out of state I would go here being back here went today and was very unhappy hair was cut uneven dye job was not done right and couldnt even see the color just very rude and still wanted full price for nothing smh terrible
