Consistently inconsistent. And all the managers do is make excuses for it. Their site says they have a product in stock on the shelves yet when you get there in person they say its gone Maybe somebody else bought it., and of course the stock area was completely empty of whatever product and also of course they had no time at all to waste to take a look and see. Always looks like bait and switch to me - consistently. I hop the managers there at the Walgreens at Highland Square in Akron, Ohio lose their jobs, delve into abject poverty and then are savagely tortured and beaten to death for thier laziness, lack of compassion and understanding and piss poor quality of customer service. They wasted MY time and MY money, and it was definitely ABOUT ME!

I’ve never worked with a single decent employee. Cashiers and managers are rude. The Pharmacist gave me a prescription for my infant son that was supposed to be liquid. It was powder and he hadn’t bothered adding the purified water as he was supposed to. What else is this PHARMACIST carelessly overlooking? Seems dangerous to trust this Walgreens with your pharmaceuticals.

This is the worst Walgreens on the west side of Akron. Staff are not friendly or helpful. Especially pharmacy staff. Its also an eye sore in Highland square. They should just bulldozer this building over.

William E is like family to me. Good natured and very knowledgeable and helpful. Jason is becoming like family to me and is super nice as well. Both pharmacists are very professional and go the extra mile when it comes to service. I feel they look out for me with the multiple medications I take for a chronic condition and always check new meds for potential info I need to know and can provide answers to all my questions. Service when waiting is efficient and accurate. Thanks Guys!

Asked for $2.50 in quarters from cash back so I could do my laundry. Cashier would only give me $2.00 for some dumb reason. I saw she had many quarters to give. Now its Saturday night and I cant do my laundry! Whats up with that?! But I mean other than that, the ice cream I bought was great.

Love this Walgreens. Everytime I go in to shop, I find that the shelves are always well stocked, clean and organized. Im always able to find what Im looking for. The floors are always clean and they shine like crazy. Staff is friendly, polite, and efficient. Walgreens has its own signiture line of snacks and other foods and stuff that save you some money while not cutting short on quality or taste. Good place to do your shopping for the small things that you need and want without having to go to a large shopping center to find them.

I had to go a week without my medication. They told me they were waiting on confirmation from my doctors office every time I called, but they werent CHECKING with the doctors office. Switched to CVS

Cashier has been super bitchy every time I come in. I work nearby, so I walk often to get a random item or a refreshment. I cant stand her attitude, so now Ill be finding another place to stop, or just go somewhere after work. So much for convenient.

Helpful staff, very patient

When I approach the register with 3 items : an Arizona icedtea, a 20 oz dr pepper, and a bag of chocolate covered cashews. The woman cashier politely pointed out to me that there was a 2 for $1 deal on iced tea. When I likewise politely declined the deal, she stepped over the line by replying, with a deep sigh and a retort of Why do you people do this! You know there may be someone homeless who would want this! To which I replied I dont need a lecture I just would like purchase what I have decided to purchase and that is it! Then I asked her not to double bag my 3 items and she did it anyway. She didnt give me a receipt. ⁵ oclock 7/24/19I was very unhappy when I left the store. The presumptuous and judgemental attitude may keep me from going there again. I do what I want with money, its no ones business but mine. This cashier is free to do what she wishes with hers cash, but some people are barely getting by and cannot spend just because a bystander thinks that they should.

Ive been going to that Walgreen for 15 years (Im fifteen and a half) now let me start this story with I HAVE NEVER STOLEN A THING IN LIFE. One day I came in looking for a specific drink and they didnt have so I said okay and was leaving when one of the Employees stopped me to tell me that I wasnt allowed n their store. I was confused by that and kind of upset because this never has happened to me. They on said that you had to be 16 but they hired a bunch of new young people in that store that think all the kids are the ones stealing from them. To make a long story short I told my folks about this and we came back to the store trying to figure out when this became a rule and we were met with insane amounts of disrespect and yelling by the manager who also kept calling me a thief. Im pretty sure his name is Dieare, so from this point on I havent been back to this store because im on strike so if you are young and reading this save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else
