I was extremely disappointed with this provider. A family member of mine has been struggling with depression and anxiety. I helped her schedule an appointment here with Andy. Andy asked for her insurance info which I sent a picture of 3 weeks prior to the appointment. I was told 3x her insurance would be accepted. Now today, 1 day before her appointment she gets a call saying it will not be accepted and if she wants to come it will be out of pocket. She has been holding out for this appointment tomorrow after waiting for 3 weeks which can feel like an eternity when you are debilitated with mental health issues. I could have easily scheduled another appointment with another provider many weeks ago but now due to the demand for psychiatric services she will have to wait another month to get in with a psychiatrist. Hopefully Andy will take her job more seriously in the future. This incompetence is better suited for literally any other job than healthcare.

Everyone in this office has been great. I have been coming here for almost 5 months. With every visit I am greeted warmly and seen quickly. I have not had a good experience at previous doctors. I am glad that I have finally found a place that not only meets my needs but exceeds them.

My experience was great with the professionals on staff as well as the doctors. I felt my report was accurate and thorough, and I understand that it is inherently impossible for absolute precision with these things.Both doctors helped me understand my own psychological makeup. They also gave me tools to continue self growth. While I didnt spend much time there due to a move, I appreciate their aid.No psychologists are right for everyone. Also, their billing was more than fair in my experience. No price gouging or misleading statements.

This office is extremely unprofessional. They do not follow through on the services they promise to provide. I do not recommend sending your children here, they are not forthcoming about the treatment process, and do not address concerns in anyway. Your childrens mental health is way too important to hand over to a company that does not know what theyre doing.

They are unprofessional, rude, unkind, and thoughtless. They double booked me with my therapist 4 times and I had to leave. It took months to complete the testing sometimes having me come back in 3 weeks to continue. They refuse to release my records upon 3 requests from 3 different agencies causing me to be denied for SSDI. I had seen my therapist there for a year and was surprised with a $4,000 bill because they failed to get authorizations to continue. I am sickened at the disgusting treatment! If there was 0 stars theyd get it!

Firstly, Dr. Barrus and his staff are unprofessional, misleading and impersonal. I am shocked and appalled at the outrageous sum I am being asked to pay. At the time of testing, I was told by office staff, that the testing would be covered by my insurance. I was never told that I would be expected to pay any amount out of pocket, and if I had been aware of this, I would have declined the testing. I think it is extremely unethical and misleading to lie to a patient about the cost of the testing and surprise them with an invoice for $2,750 six months later.Secondly, I am disappointed with the level of service I received from Dr. Barrus’ office, and I discussed it with my therapist and she suggested that I file a malpractice complaint due to the unprofessional nature of Dr. Barrus’ business - each time I was scheduled for an appointment or testing, the staff were unprepared and there were delays in getting my testing completed and the final report is full of negligent errors, typos and obvious copy-and-pasting from another patient’s report. In several places, the report says “he” instead of “she” and “him” instead of “her”. I am not a male, by birth or identity. I didn’t feel the need to pursue a malpractice complaint at the time, but I am going to look into doing so now.
