I talked with Jennifer (Dir. of Client care) from a family referral on a Wednesday night around 10:30 PM after both of our parents were discharged from the hospital. We needed help right of way, Friday morning we had a wonderful lady Elizabeth who came and won our hearts. She was competent, followed instructions to the tee and my goodness was the best in winning my parents heart. Luckily our needs were temporary, if we ever need anyone I know who to call.I would highly recommend Elizabeth and Home Care Assistance to anyone in need.

Client services surpasses other agencies by far. Customized programs for each client’s individual needs to reduce hospitalizations. Free in home safety inspections. Caregivers and personal assistants are given extensive training as well as national background checks. Client care managers are there around the clock to answer any questions or concerns. This home care agency is hands down the best!

I called Home Care Assistance because they were one of three agencies recommended by my husband’s home hospice provider. I was told they would communicate well with his hospice nurses, which was crucial. From my first call, the receptionist was polite and made sure I was connected to the proper person for my needs. The Director of Client Care spent 3 hours with us and assured me that they would work with my two-nights-a-week schedule of needing a night time caregiver. She answered all my questions, reviewed the layout of our home, and watched me interact with my husband when he needed assistance. She made several suggestions which I very much appreciated. She and other management personnel chose Alex W. as my husband’s caregiver. The Client Care Coordinator and Alex came for an introductory meeting to ensure a smooth transition before Alex spent the first night. Alex was both polite and professional, and I knew she was the perfect choice. She brought a sense of peace and spoke to my husband calmly and patiently. Alex even made friends with our 13 yr old Beagle who always slept by my husband’s side. Unfortunately she stayed only three nights before my husband transitioned to hospice crisis care (24 hr home care) and I had to cancel Home Care Assistance. I notified the Director of Client Care who assured me that this situation would cancel our HCA agreement without penalty. Once the account was reviewed and final billing completed, they refunded my full deposit. Based on the people I met and the service they provided, I would definitely recommend Home Care Assistance.

We have used the services of Home Care Assistance for over 2 years, 7 days a week. The staff has been extremely accommodating in providing the most suitable caregivers for my husband. It is reassuring to me that even if a caregiver gets ill or has an emergency, HCA will provide a dependable trained substitute to fill in. Aside from the normal caregiving duties, they are also trained in a special Cognitive Therapy program designed by the founders.This has been very stimulating and valuable for my husbands issues with Parkinsons Disease. My wife is terminally ill and began needing daily care in May 2019 during the day while I was at work and on weekends as well. We hired Home Care Assistance based on a doctor’s recommendation. Jennifer is the manager and she and her predecessor worked hard to match us with the best member of their team. I selected the first aide and that was a mistake. She and my wife didn’t mesh well and it was clearly because I made the selection rather than my wife, who was still lucid and could communicate at that point. I could not recommend her more highly. She has been nothing less than an angel for our family in the most difficult time of our lives. Home Care Assistance offers wonderful in home attendant options. Great office staff! A variety of plans: caregiver relief by the hour, day, week...day or night. Daytime. Nightime. 24 hours. Male and Female attendant. Dog and Cat friendly attendants. I have had friends and family use their services for five years.

Outstanding! Exceeded all expectations! HCA rescued me from a disability crisis. They came out the same day I called, made a care plan, gave me a shower, and made food. My daily caregiver began next day. Jennifer’s experience allows her to see what you need, and to make it happen almost instantly. She truly unburdens one from the stress of needing home care. The caregivers were far superior to those I have encountered in the past w services for my brother.

I contacted Home Care Assistance after my Father returned home from rehab following a stroke. My mother has rheumatoid arthritis & wasnt going to be able to do everything as far as caretaking plus she works part time. Having someone come on days my mom was gone & when I couldnt be there was perfect. HCA had a rep meet with us to determine our needs & my dads preferences. A couple days later, a caretaker met with us for a couple of hours & got along great with my dad. After that, my parents had HCA come a couple days a week & tapered off as my dad got stronger & was able to start driving again. I was able to go on vacation & felt good that if there was a problem that came up, my parents could call HCA & get someone to help. Even now that things are better, my parents can call HCA & begin services again if needed. It definitely gives me more peace of mind! Thank you, HCA!
