I called Dallas Family Medical and got an appointment on the same day. That is not the first time that has happened. Their service is always prompt. Jamie examined my cut finger & prescribed an affordable medicated cream plus gave me the name of a medicated wash to buy over the counter. I have always found her to be knowledgeable and prompt. I did not wait in the examination room long. I have also had Dr. Reihsen call me personally with test results 2-3 days after the tests.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Reisen for a little over 12 years, and my experience as a patient has always been great! She is a great knowledgeable and experience Medical Professional in her field of work. I wouldnt even consider changing doctors, thats how good her and her incredible staff is.! When I scheduled a physical with her, I got her nurse practitioner Caroline. Both are wonderful. Dr. Reihsen also offered other specialized treatment and procedures that I may want to take advantage of. I dont think Im going to be going to anyone else at this time

I am a 5+ year patient of Dr. Reihsen. It has been a great experience having her as my primary physician.Here is how my last visit (annual routine) was.I had an early appointment, at 7:15 AM, on a Friday morning. Got there 15 mins early as directed. Waited for about 10 mins before Dr Reihsen herself came out to escort me in and to the exam room. (They had sent me a link to complete all the paperwork and survey a couple of days before my visit. If you get that, do it ahead of time. It will save you some time spent in the office)She first went through my completed survey and asked if I had any health concerns at the time. Then she proceeded to do some physical exams such as eyes, ears, chest, breathing, and others. I would say she was very thorough.She went on to recommend some tests that at my age (51) would and should have (for prevention). She also ordered some more blood tests based on my reported family health history (also for prevention).Those tests were all covered by my insurance plan (Annual/Routine Checkup). I never had to fight with any charges that came out of my visits (unlike so many from those other doctors before I had Dr Reihsen).By Sunday, I got my lab results in my patient portal (they have a web site for patients appointments, lab results, charts...). One nurse also called to go over the results and Dr Reihsens recommendations based on those results.I would recommend her to those who are looking for a family doctor or are looking to switch.

Honestly the worst experience I had going to the Doctors office. The staff before Mrs. Mendez was great and very welcoming. Right when Mrs. Mendez came in she was very loud and upfront, basically did not ask why I was there, or what issues I am having. Just started saying how they wont be able to help me, and it is up to me to stay or leave to find another office. This is before I was asked anything or why I am there. Just made it seem like I was there for drugs and not help. I did address it and she did apologize and she did try to tone it down, but the damage was done, even if they did decide to listen or take a different approach on why I am there, I did not feel welcome or would be able to have a good relationship with the staff after being judged before I could even speak. They did take the co pay off as a way to apologize but yes wont be coming back and I just advice people to search elsewhere to not feel judge or put down for looking for help.

I love the dog as well although when I tell people about him I can never remember his name Sabaoth or something like that I think. I had my annual physical here. They are very friendly and quick to the point. Was an ease. The doctor didn’t stay long with me, maybe because I was in good health. It felt a little rushed, but overall great experience!

I’ve been a client of this Dr. for many years, but the new location and Physician’s Assistant I saw this visit for my annual physical/well woman was a definite improvement, to an already good experience. The wait time was not long and the waiting room was large and clean, nurse’s assistant was very kind and friendly, and the PA was just the best! The PA explained all of my results in a friendly and kind manner and even gave me a big thumbs up on my progress. She was knowledgeable, professional, and just a pleasant individual all around. Couldnt go in as walk in. Im new to the area. I had to make an appointment later that day. Receptionist was nice and super busy but gave me the attention I needed as a new patient. The nurse did her job well with the basic information and I waited for the doctor. Doctor Natalie was super nice and throughly about my medical history. She didnt rush and took her time to examine me well. Very attentive and concerned about my health. She gave good remedies and advice to get me well soon and feel better. I was dying and called right when they opened, as a new patient who showed up with no insurance cards they saw me while waiting for proof from my parents because I was in so much discomfort! They were all very sweet, helpful, and thorough! Dr.Pak was very informative of alternative measures and how to follow up! After moving to town it was very comforting to find a safe doctors office that provides every service I need! They were even able to squeeze me in for allergy testing the same day so I can started on allergy shots ASAP! 10/10 would recommend considering I am a nurse myself!

I dont go to the doctors office often, so when Ive been experiencing sever abdominal pain for a month, thinking that over the counter meds can help since the pain came and went, I had to see someone professionally (professionally isnt a word I would use to describe this office) I saw the doctor for the first time on the 9th, found a dead roach on one of the ceiling lights & heard a dog barking in the other room. all they did was tell me what I was already doing, changing my diet to something my stomach can easily digest. They wanted me to do an x-ray on the 12th which I did & then they wanted me to wait all the way to 19th for an ultrasound, since I first came in from the 9th to the 19th still no medication prescribed for my sever pain that would actually have me crying at night or anytime. Then I did the ultrasound on the 19th which is the day that I saw a dog that was barking on my first visit, had a follow up for Saturday the 21st, the nurses asked me the very same questions as if I was in the office for the first time. I told one of the nurses that this was a follow up and should already have all that information. I saw the doctor, I didnt get the feeling of a caring a doctor, granted I know doctors see a lot of patients, I told her how much pain I was still in. I asked if she could get me anything for my allergies as well since I was suffering from them at the time. I thought she was finally going to prescribe me something for my pain but didnt only for an infection & advised that I go on a clear liquid diet which was a bad idea since my pain were really bad from stomach pain of not eating. The doctor sent the meds to the wrong pharmacy, before I left the office i doubled checked w/ the girl at the front to see where the prescription was going to and confirmed it was the correct one. so I missed a whole day of taking my meds. Every time I was talking I felt like the doctor would talk over me. I shouldve trusted my instincts and find another doctor. After the ultrasound they said they wanted to do a CT scan then refer me to a specialist. if they couldnt figure out why I was in so much pain in the beginning they shouldve just referred me. I had to find a specialist myself.
