Dr. Butler, Michael - EVERYONE in the office - truly are gems & rockstars all around: each one EXCELLING at what they do, resulting in efficiency, competency, accuracy... done with compassion and kindness. I am forever grateful for Dr. Butler and the entire crew for helping me get my life back. (Due to a sports injury i needed 2 spine surgeries a few years ago. Today i am up & about & even playing casual sports again!)

Dr. Butler has been my doctor for 17 years. I had my first back surgery at 25 and my second back surgery back surgery at 27. Im 42 now and am~ so happy with the spinal fussion he did. He is very talented and his bed side manner is very kind.

When I first seen Dr. Butler I was in tears and could hardly move. After having a Annular and Posterior Fusion done along with a Artificial disc replacement I was doing better. Now I have more disc out of place and going back to see him soon to see what else can be done to help out. He was great to talk to and very understanding of my pain. He took great care of me both pre and post op in Parkland and with any other visits I have had.

I went to see Dr. Butler for a second opinion. After talking with me extensively I knew he was the doctor for me. He is kind, caring, calm, compassionate ,super smart, highly skilled and has a good sense of humor! Nothing I had seen in other highly skilled surgeons. While I was petrified to have cervical spine surgery I felt at ease with him. I lost the use of my right arm and was in extreme pain. After the ACDF surgery I had 100% use of my arm and the pain was gone. Dr. Butler gave me my life back and for that I will be forever grateful! Moral of the story, I feel blessed to have Dr Butler as my spine surgeon. I would highly recommend him and his staff!!

After no relief from chiropractor visits, injections, and spending my summer laying on the couch, I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Butler. Surgery is not an easy option to consider but looking back on 2 years now it was the right one for me. Great staff and support team!

Best spine surgeon ever! He is amazing! I had been to multiple doctors, chiropractors, therapy, and even went to an orthopedic doctor, and a spine doctor in Crystal Lake, IL and NO ONE made me feel better or willing to really listen. Until I met Dr. Butler! His words to me was something along the lines as, I can fix you and no you are not crazy. Scheduled surgery after some routine pre ops... and surgery was done. I was up on my feet with in hours afterwards. The next morning I was walking around and climbed stairs to prove I could do this at home!!! After almost 4 years of pain I felt better already! Dr. Butler is my miracle spine doctor. My surgery was a fusion to L4 & L5, added 4 screws, 2 rods and a cage with cadaver material. Sounds crazy right? But he saved my life at age 42! Thank you just doesnt seem enough!

I am also a Cook County Officer who was sent by cook county to see IME Dr Jesse Butler. Dr Butler is in it for the county’s money and does not care about the well being of the Patient. My doctor recommended surgery for my injury and dr Butler sent me back to full Active duty! (Yes I have paperwork that dr Butler wrote that he released me back to work). Since then I seen four doctors who all recomended that I have surgery for my injury. Further more I have Spoken to multiple Officers who were seen by Dr. Butler all with injury’s and all requiring some kind of treatment but dr butler found no issues and released all to full active duty!. Dr Jesse Butler gets 0 stars and should be reported to medical board for review. I agree Dr Butler should lose is License.

I gave this man one star but its too much for him. I hope this man loses his medical license. IME pos. You are forcing Cook County Officers to go back to work with pain and no solution to their problem. If these officers go back and get hurt again, its your fault for going against the officers. You are about the Cook County money, not these officers well being.

Very bad experience with this dr the first time I visit him without the insurance nurse he told me that if he was hurt and the second time he was someone from the insurance company he already said that he had nothing he discharged me and I went back to work with a lot of pain didnt even take the time to get a good look at the MRI and CT
