Whole Foods style store. Huge variety of produce, natural products including homeopathy and alternative medicine. Great wine selection, beers, pastries.But the problem is that overall the store is expensive, on products with same brands but much cheaper on other stores.Nice buying experience nonetheless.

Store is always very friendly. Even though it’s rather expensive, you can get good quality produce. 4 star for you dropping the ball with Covid precautions, most employees do not wear masks, and therefore lots of customers do not as well. You would think pandemic is over.

Wonderful place, clean, the people that work there are friendly and kind. The prepared food is my favorite. All the food is delicious and easy...just heat and eat. I especially like the blue cheese pancakes! And, the cookies and cakes... perfect .

I am from Wisconsin and was so impressed by the seafood department, sushi, imported meats and the extensive cheese department.

Might as well go to Whole Foods. More convenient location, same prices, and you can actually take your cart to your car (I had ice in my cart and was told to leave it on the hot curb and bring my car to the curb). There were no clear signs to warm me in the store. Wont be making it my quick or convenient stop home.

Delicious selection of vegetables, fruit, and deli meat. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just confused why some baggers will leave before they finish my order. This has happened on multiple occasions over the last five years.

Great for specialty items as well as their seafood section. Customer service is different per each store. Bay Village has a personable staff while Rocky River has a mostly rude staff.

High quality produce and non-perishables and the best selections of local products Ive seen from a general grocer; youll pay a premium for those options but you feel better buying them, both when making the purchases and when eating what youve bought later.Theyve been especially diligent in following COVID procedures, so (if you respect that) it makes for a more comfortable shopping experience, even when the aisles are a bit narrow.

Basic, upscale grocery in Cleveland. Only has plastic bags. Heard they even fight the plastic bag laws in the county.

Very clean. All of there produce was very fresh and priced reasonably for the quality. There are employees everywhere working and with smiles on there faces.

The store is clean, well stocked, looks great, and the cashier was very friendly, however, as another reviewer mentioned, there are some very rude, nasty, uppity and entitled customers.Also, the food is more along the Whole Foods line, so if youre looking for things like hot dogs or Steak Ums, youre in the wrong place.Cant blame the store for some of their clientel being jerks, however, I was so turned off by my abusive experience with another customer, I wont be returning.I can see why the Instacart people are having problems and complaining of being profiled there.

We got more than we needed in the fresh produce...it was all so beautiful, for Easter dinner. And topped it off with the most delightful and delicious cake

What happened to the woman who supervised the floral department? The plants and bouquets are not acceptable any more. I believe the shipments are sitting on the loading dock, I can tell they have cold damage. Let it go several times but no more.

Started going to Heinens 53 years ago. Moved away several times, always come back for wonderful food and great service. Manager went out of his way to provide a product they were out of in the meat department. I was so happy to see they are carrying Tillamook ice cream from Oregon. It is very hard to find, and the flavors are unique and yummy. Reasonably priced.

Expensive, not a ton of items, but everything is great quality. Have some items you dont see anywhere else. Sadly, because of covid their salad bar is closed, but maybe someday itll come back. High quality and good selection of seafood. Small, but great meat department. The bakery is their weak spot if I had to pick something. Very nice arrangements in the floral department if you need something there.

Ever since I moved to Cleveland I would spend Hundreds here a month over the past year, I loved their fresh meat and two brothers coffee as well as some of their other specialty products. (I just spent $100 the day yesterday)If you go in here not wearing a mask they will literally send their fascist managers after you to try and force you to put one on. This happened to me when me my brother is his girlfriend were trying to shop here. I was followed by their manager and he came up to me and rudely told me I had to wear one. The sad part is that they truly believe theyre doing something good by harassing their customers in this way. Theres a million other places I can go to, I wont be going back here. I only want to be left alone so I can do my shopping without having to put up with this.

Ordered a fresh Turkey and received it partially frozen when I got home. Called to inquire and was told it was because they are stacked on a pallet. Asked for a manager and then I was hung up on.

The lady at the meat counter was the rudest person Ive ever had interaction with in that store.

I dont consume much of either but when it happens I want a product I can trust.I have a very limited budget Earth fare was able to accomplish quality (humane) and budget.Meat department can not meet my budget. Im over the plastic bags. Ive been using my own bags for decades. At least offer paper bags as an optionAlso, they really need one way aisles. Checkout area is good for social distance but the rest of the stote is a disasterGood selection of food and really good quality but may need to stop shopping here because of social distancing and too many customers without facial covering, even though the vast majority do wear them

Heinens is a great grocery store. They have the best produce, meat department and deli. This location is a bit weird to get in and out of but still worth it!

Always quality produce and nice staff. The standard boxed and canned products are more expensive than other grocery stores but if you use Heinens for their high quality produce and speciality items it is worth the stop.

Its really sad. The younger members of the staff are all very helpful and courteous and the older ones are all rude and short. Its a shame because at that price point they should have consistent service.

Wow...not sure where to begin. Traveled 30 miles from the East Side to purchase a specialty item listed on your website and verified by one of your employees that does not exist and had no stock marking on the shelf. Ok, things happen. Tried to purchase other items, but gave up after getting in the way of angry employees with small stools dragging merchandise from isle to isle, realizing it was my fault for getting in their way while grabbing stock from the shelves to purchase. Ok, no problem, nobody really has manners anymore anyways. Waited in line to be signaled forward by the cashier, but when I realized that my purchase was secondary to the jokes the cashier was telling to their co-workers, I violated the stores Social Conditioning Policy and started placing my over priced items on the register belt. I was never asked about my Heinen card, but no problem, I probably did not deserve the one I had. Upon leaving, I was not given all of my paid groceries because the bagger was occupied by another joke at another register until I questioned the cashier is this bag also mine? to which I received back huh, oh ya. The reason I took the time to relay all of this is because of the fact that I know that I will never shop at Heinens again, and will be sure to share my poor experience with others. Too bad Heinens is becoming Wal-Mart...you used to be the grocery standard that others looked up to

This the best local grocery store. They have far superior produce than the other local grocery stores like giant eagle and are practically the same price. Their customer service is very good to top it off. Their wine and beer selection is also really good with a selection of single beers for sale.

Clean, courteous service, and a large variety of higher-end foods, much of it regionally sourced. Wonderful bakery. And they load the groceries into your car at curbside.

Literally my favorite grocery store . Their two brothers brand products are top notch (especially the barrel aged balsamic varieties). Their meat and fish selection are very high quality and extremely fresh. The craft beer selection might be the best part as they always have fairly rare limited releases . As an added bonus everyone that works there is extremely helpful.

Heidens rocks! My only reservation about the Rocky River (and Bay Village) store is that it only has one entrance. The Avon store has 2 front exits.My reason for concern about those two stores is that in a real emergency, people rush for the door. With only one front door, a bottleneck is inevitable and injury probable.As for the grocery store chain... they are the best (albeit pricy). We have traveled a lot and have yet to find a grocery chain that compares. The personnel always go above and beyond. The quality is the top! The stores are always clean.I especially like that they have contracts with local farmers and feature their produce (and I believe some of their meat).

Social distancing is not being adhered to often one way aisles need to be instituted as done in other stores with store personnel helping to ensure compliance. Some staff wearing masks below noses and not correctly.

Fruit and vegetables were plenty. I did pull quite a few moldy plantains. Love the fact you can buy your good and go upstairs to such a beautiful area to eat and look outside.

Great, well stocked, I have always loved Heinens. Stopped in there just to grab some veggies and some fruit for something and my boyfriend and my nephew were with me. Great customer service, the cashier was respectable, the person bagging the groceries ask for paper or plastic. They were lovely the day we went!!!💛

For years I shopped at Heinens in Mayfield Heights or Willoughby Hills. When I moved to Lakewood I was sure I would never find a store I was as happy with as I was with those two stores. I was wrong! The store in Rocky River is outstanding, as are the employees. Tina in the deli department was the first person I dealt with in your store. She was and still is extremely personable, helpful and pleasant every time I see her. It was her that brought me back to Heinens in Rocky River. I mentioned to her that it was my first time in the store and she immediately welcomed me to the store and the neighborhood and told me that every employee would be willing to help if I had any questions. That was two years ago and no one in the store has proven her wrong. My rating of five stars is for cleanliness, always being well stocked, knowledge and friendliness of the staff regardless of the position they hold. It is a pleasure to shop there.

Staff is super friendly and always very clean. If you’re looking for a special ingredient, they’ll have it 9/10. Prices are a little higher than you average grocery store (but worth the quality food you’re getting). However, it gets pretty busy and navigating the aisles can be really annoying.

I love this store, they havent failed me yet when I am shopping for things that I cant find elsewhere. Like today; I went to 3 grocery stores trying to find buttermilk, finally I went to Heinens and yep there it was.
