I was having terrible problems with a serious UTI that would not go away. Even though the practice was very booked up, the triage nurses talk to me and the physicians. Even though it would have been months for me to get in with one of the physicians, the nurses were able to squeeze me in with a PA for the doctor I wanted in about a week. In the meantime, I was encouraged to call back if I had any concerns, and the staff let me know what to look for so that I would know to go to the ER in those instances.When I arrived to my appointment, I was treated with courtesy and had a very short wait. Meredith was the PA that I saw, and she was incredible. She took the time to listen and discuss my symptoms, improvement, and what I could do to lessen the chances of such frequent episodes. Even though we thought there was a possibility of something happening in my kidney, we decided with the improvement on the medicine not to go for costly testing unless things got worse. I really appreciated that! However, again I was given specific information and assured that if I had any doubts or specific things happened to get back in touch with them right away.I definitely give a kudos to the entire practice because they worked as a wonderful team from first contact through and following the visit! It is very easy for me to give them an excellent review.

Dr Meredith Yates & Judith were amazing. ( a as well as Dr John Smith). If you need a Urologist, I highly recommend.

PA Winters was attentive, actually listened to my observations and thoughts, and answered all of my questions. Very professional and straight-forward with explanations. She gave me actual answers instead of vague statements like urologists Ive visited in the past. A+.

Utmost personable professional. As far as I am concerned he saved my life with successful surgery and treatment for my recurring kidney stones. This was especially serious because of having had RCC in that kidney and Stage 3 CKD. Thanks to all the staff that patiently helped me through this.

Initially, I had a supervisor who I called to speak with to possibly be seen sooner. She offered me an appointment a month later and was very unhelpful and rude. I called back a few days later and got an Angel who made me feel like she really cared about me and tried to get me an earlier appt. From what I heard my Angel was reprimanded for helping me and she was made to call me and cancel the earlier appt. I understood and thanked her for trying, also he wasnt the doctor I wanted anyway so Im glad he pushed back😏. She still thought of me after that phone call and after she spoke with Dr. Craven she got me in with him a week earlier. I wish I had gotten her name because she doesnt realize how her efforts soothed my worries and helped me see that God was already working through this office, this scheduler, and this doctor and I was where God meant for me to be. Dr. Craven is personable, kind, caring, knowledgeable and I feel safe and reassured under his care.

Dr. John Smith is a prince of a fellow. Highly recommended!! He listens and explains everything perfectly!

Saw PA Martha and couldnt be more impressed. She spent the time needed to fully understand and evaluate my issues. She was patient, personable and extremely thorough. Its the first time in 5 years (since I moved to NC and stopped seeing my Dr. back home) that I didnt feel like a number for the insurance company. I will not say how much time she spent with me for fear that she may be reprimanded, but its more than triple the time Ive spent with any Dr. in these last 5 years. Im very happy to have made the choice to see a Martha.

Good Doctors but their billing is a circus

My doctor is Dr. Shen. I have been having pain on my left side in the flank area radiating down to my abdomen since last weekend. The pain has getting progressively worse. I have a history with kidney stones so I thought okay probably another stone. I called the doctors office and they ordered a CT scan. I went Tuesday night at 7 p.m. and had the CT. Turns out it is indeed a 6mm stone. But they tell me they cannot see me until the 20th. Are you kidding me? The nurse tells me to call back next day and ask if they can work me in. I finally get an appointment at 2:05 in Kernersville. I waited 45 minutes to be seen there. There I was told the stone was in the kidney and could not be causing my pain. Go downstairs and get an x-ray. Went to get x-ray and was told wait would be 5-10 minutes. Forty five minutes later still sitting there. Walked up to ask what going on they said behind. Told them to forget it. Then got phone call from Shens office and was told nothing they could do for me. Go somewhere else. We do not see anything wrong with you. WHAT??? I am in pain, bleeding and have a stone and you see nothing? They do not care. What about the 6mm stone? This office is horrible. You are nothing but a number to them not a person. I also left with blood in my urine. Which I have been bleeding for days. Just my problem! Folks do yourself a favor and find another practice - this one is ridiculous!

Absolutely horrible front desk and scheduling. So disorganized and no one ever answers the phone or returns voicemails (especially the after hours answering service).

I tried calling the nurse to see if they could give me anything else because the pain pills I have arent working and Im shaking and throwing up. She said she couldnt do anythong and didnt bother talking to the doctor and just hung up on me. Very unprofessional

Everyone was awesome.

Very disappointed. The P.A. Kevin was too busy playing Doctor and worrying about insurance cost. I was given an X-Ray and scan but no real exam. He was too worried about getting to the next patient. On top of that he told me to come back in 3 weeks, but they were unable to give me a appointment. I will never go back to that location. In general NOVANT HEALTH has fallen to a new LOW. Going for a scan which I had to do my own follow up on in order to get it done.

I would like to express my appreciation for the professional staff at Novant Health Urology on 2010 Baldwin Lane, Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Hudson, Kevin Chang, PA-C, and especially the nurse (Suprema) were outstanding. I was there yesterday (8-26-19) and Kevin and Suprema stayed with me even after 5 pm to comfort me and reassure me that I was going to be fine. Will never return your call. Getting through to someone in the office takes forever to be told someone will call you back but never do. I’ve been trying to set up a surgery and can’t get anyone to call me back. Leaves patients in pain waiting to get a procedure set up. When the hospital called the on call doctor they didn’t even want to come in to see me told me to come into the office in the next morning. All around poor treatment.

Dr Craven is great, but the front desk and scheduling needs improvement. I absolutely love Dr Craven, but the front desk is a total mess. First, when calling to make an appointment or to ask a simple question, I always get a message and have waited no less than 5 minutes before actually talking to someone. Thats sad being they always have 3 or more people working the front check in area. When I called to speak to a nurse about a question I had regarding a high fever, I did not get a return call. The next day I made the same call and did receive a call the next day, but waiting 2 days to get a return call for a question that could effect my health is not acceptable. I called to schedule a procedure with their scheduler. I left a message and 2 days later I have yet to even get a return phone call. As stated, Dr Craven is a wonderful doctor, but a bad office staff can hurt a doctor. This office staff at urology partners is not doing anything to help with their lack of good service to the patients.

All of the Staff have been great to me ,I call and get calls back but since they have put some of their Staff in two different places I believe it has made it rough on them to keep up with some of the Doctor`s and PA`s schedules . I know they are busy I am just going through a rough time right now trying to figure out what my health problem is, but I have faith they will work it out.

Suppose to be open until 5 p.m. but Ive called on at least 3 different occasions at 4:48 p.m. and the closed message was already playing. Dont know if it automatically starts (if so, you should get that changed) or if someone is too lazy to finish out the last few minutes of the day. Step it up, please!
