The diagnostic center seems to treat COVID like we as Americans once treated chicken pox. You go in for a test and instead of them doing their best to get people in and out you sit in a waiting room for roughly an hour to then get taken to their so called private room. It was a dressing room to take clothes off and store them while you are getting some sort of screening done. So while at the er the doctor will lecture you on the dangers of COVID and tell you that you need to get vaccinated their very own onsite testing center is exposing people. Go back to testing in vehicles it makes more sense. Ill go get tested somewhere else in a week as today I went for my child. And of she didnt have it before we both probably do now so thanks for the exposure.

Not sure if its more WMC vs. the diagnostic center. The nurses and medical team have been great, its their administrative and client service team that I was infuriated with.*Backstory*I had to come in today for additional imaging as my mammogram was suspicious lookout. Needles to say I am already nervous and stressed coming in.My first experience this morning was their check in person sticking me with a bill/estimate for services that I hadnt even had done yet. How can you prebill or ask for payment when you havent even billed my insurance company yet? I am quite certain they wouldnt require me to pay for secondary diagnostics on something medical. Its not like I am doing this for fun?Have some sympathy for the patients coming in. Try to understand their frame of mind and perhaps if there are financial claims or issues that can be billed appropriately through proper chanels and sent to patient after services rendered.

I broke my ankle and was sent by my Dr. to get xrays. We showed up with no appointment and where seen promptly and the xrays only took about 5 min. All of the staff where extremely nice and very prompt. The technitial was awesome and even called my Dr. immediately after the xray to discuss with the Dr, and allowed me to talk with the Dr. on her phone to review the next steps. I was very impressed with my experience here.

My lab tech, Abby, was extremely professional and helpful. She kept me updated throughout my 3 hour glucose study, ensured I felt comfortable and verified that I was feeling well enough throughout the test. Also worth mentioning:I showed up at 0700 to complete a 3 hour glucose study. I did not have an appointment based on inaccurate information I received from a phone call I’d made. I was extremely anxious, tearful, & upset when I found out I’d have to do the fasting and test on another day if I didn’t have an appointment. Pregnancy will do that to you. Karen F in patient access took the time to set up an appointment for me and was able to get me in that same morning so I did not have to fast, pregnant with twins, on an additional day. She jumped into action, got on the phone, and spoke with a young lady (Amber, I believe) who was luckily able to fit me into the schedule. I was so impressed with their service and the fact that Karen treated me as if I were her own family member. My registration clerk (Cathy, I believe) also came by the lab to make sure I was feeling okay and not as tearful as when she registered me into the system. To combine that service with an extremely professional and comfortable lab experience was unbeatable. The facility was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The team they have working and the diagnostic center is amazing. I’ll continue to do the rest of my testing at Valley Health diagnostic center and recommend my family and friends do the same.

It’s almost as if this facility wants people to travel outside of the area for care. 4 calls to schedule an MRI with an order from a provider outside of your system is unacceptable. From “no order received” to “telemedicine isn’t okay, you have to see the provider in person” to “we received an order, please wait 24 hours for us to call you to schedule” to “we have no order”. VH had a good reputation at one point but it’s gone downhill. Heads up people - you can get an MRI for $400 cash if you go to Progressive Radiology in Hagerstown!

I came in this morning for blood work and xray on an active 2 year old. The staff was suuuuper friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to assist as soon as I walked in until we were all done. Lab techs were patient, understanding and prepared to work with a fussy customer. Minimal wait (8:30 am on a Tuesday) A great experience for an understandably difficult visit.

I am not complaining about the service there, it is the fact that their website states that they are open until 7 P.M. However, when I have to leave work two hours early to get my 90 year old mother out in the cold just to find out they are now only open until 5:30 P.M. is totally unsat. The Diagnostic Center needs to remain open with the hours posted on line until the post has been changed.

Service was great, but wondering if someone can tell me why the Diagnostic Center consistently charges over $400 ($480 at my last appt.) for a screening mammogram when the average overall cost of a screening mammogram is $100 with the high end cost nationally at $250.

They do not accept appointments for X-ray. I waited over an hour and still have not been called upon, they should shut down imaging center until they can figure out why they are overpacked with people waiting. Waiting room was packed.

They were not busy and were very pleasant and professional. The only problem that I am having now is the robo calls about my recent visit asking me to complete the survey. I completed the survey twice and I am still receiving the automated calls. That is the only reason it lost the star.
