Was told to get there early for an appointment, the building was locked, scheduled another appointment and was given a card for a different date (the date i agreed to) amd received a text for a different date. No one answers the phone to cancel my appointment after a few voicemail. I dont know whats going on. Recoeved no calls back, no one answers the phones and I dont know whether to show up on the date I canceled on or what. Went to therapy for anxiety, got more because of their lack of communication. Stay away from this place

Thought it was a caring compassionate mental health facility. I have come to realize it is just like all the other facilities, just a fancier name. At least other places dont pretend to care about you.

I just honestly have to say that the therapist and staff here are passionate about their jobs and care deeply for their clients. I am grateful to have one of the best therapists that I trust and feel comfortable with and believes in me unconditionally. Thank you to all the staff and therapist there who help people like me to become better individuals each and every day.

I have been seeing Anne at Sand Dollar Wellness for about a year and a half now. Ive been with her through four insurance changes, three pregnancy losses, and multiple other life events that couldve broken me. Anne is one of the most compassionate, caring, and wonderful individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. She has tailored everything at Sand Dollar, from the reception area, to the people she has working, to the various therapists, to be a calm, caring and compassionate place. Ive referred at least three people there, and they all have said the same. I cant recommend Sand Dollar highly enough. I will continue seeing Anne for the foreseeable future, and wish her nothing but the best as she continues running this place impeccably.

Jenifer Roofner is amazing! Shes the best therapist! She works various hours so that she is available to help her clients when it works for them. She goes above and beyond to help her clients! I dont think I could have recovered from my Eating disorder with out her help.

Recently I had a life event that brought a lot of anxiety into my life. I felt like I was at my wits end until I was referred to Sand Dollar Wellness Center. They were caring right from the moment I made the first call for help. From the receptionist to my therapist they showed empathy and sincerity. This team had made a difference in my life.

While trying to find help for my 11 year old child I was fortunate to find Jennifer Roofner. She made my child feel very comfortable. She has worked extremely hard to make sure he receives the help he needs. Ms. Roofner has worked on her days off and has made a world of difference for us. She has such compassion and is extremely knowledgeable. While the decision to get therapy for you child is a very hard we were very fortunate to find Jennifer. Jennifer has gone beyond what was expected and I am very grateful. I would highly recommend her.

Be very aware of how your insurance is billed. The gentlemen at the reception failed to do his verification the way he is supposed to and my BCBS was charged instead of the Cigna which provides for the Behavorial health. They also fail to tell you that not all the providers take the same insurance there. BCBS therefore denied the charge and we had to pay out of pocket! The information was right there on the insurance card! Of course my dealings with the ‘business office’ have failed to meet with resolution because no one has the good manners to call me back.

Sand Dollar Wellness, and specifically therapist Anne Whitted, is an integral part of my self-care. I have always been treated with respect and compassion and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a therapist in the Wilmington area.

I have been in and out of therapy my whole life. Same diagnosis across the board and Anne is the only therapist who challenges me to make a difference. If you are looking not just for someone to talk to but someone who will encourage a change. This is the place for you.

Cant speak for their services..didnt get that far. I called two different days 3 weeks ago & left messages with two different people for Tiffany and never heard back from anyone there. Not a great way to run any kind of business.
