Just left their urgent care department due to back pain from a nasty fall on black ice on Friday. The nurse practitioner stated the source of the pain was the back of my ribs and I had x rays. Results showed no fracture and they concluded I strained my back. The nurse practitioner offered to prescribe me muscle relaxers for the pain and asked if I wanted a note for work. I conveyed to her that I would like to try going to work but was concerned about pain management as my job requires manual labor. She stated the muscle relaxers would make me tired and I should continue taking ibuprofen as I have been and give it 7 days. I then asked if there was a type of back support i could wear to help minimize the strain and minimize pain. The nurse practitioner told me I could do whatever made me more comfertable and told me wear yo exit. As I exited she we exchanged a good night and she told me to try not to slip. Immediately she and some of the staff began to laugh...as much as I love a good joke. One made at the expense of a patient injury and how they reported it was sustained is the last thing anyone in pain wants to hear. Sorry if my injury wasnt severe enough to warrent being treated with dignity. But with that said if my injury was worse I would be at Winchester or Melrose Wakefield hospital. I found the comment to be in bad taste considering it was a clear night with no ice on the ground. But Im glad at the end of the day I was able to brighten their night with my visit.

I had blood work done kidneys were a little off so had to wait 3weeks to try again.my results were posted to my chart. I wasnt sure so I called to discuss the results. Well I accidentally called at 7am instead of 8am. Guess I missed turning that clock back.LOL. I was taken aback when it was mentioned. Excuse me for being a little upset and nervous wondering if my kidneys were failing.instead of soothing she was rude and mean.she also felt the need to tell me exactly when the doctor posted the results on my chart. That wasnt the issue.it was understanding what is in your chart that is hard sometimes. Well the next time I worry or panicked or have questions I certainly wont call there. Time to find a place where they have good bedside manners .where they understand sometimes people are scared. And again so sorry I called at 7am by mistake. My clockk has now been turned back

Got a call from this place at 3.02 today to reschedule an appointment that has been cancelled by them. I’m busy on the other line and I only heard rescheduling. I am having medical issues and I say yes, go ahead. I am thinking it was one of my doctors /referrals; she then said to bring ‘them’ and I asked who is calling and she said the pediatric unit etc. I said I’m sorry I thing you gave the wrong number. Her rudeness went to a different level with ugh and huffing and puffing...Like it was my fault. You were the one who called me! I can only hope they have your correct date of birth when entering exam results. Soooo rude.

I just met Nurse Rachet. Her real name is Robyn T. I went there for a sinus infection and cant believe the lack of listening skills she showed during my intake. I wasnt finished answering a question before another was asked. She was rude, abrupt and showed zero compassion. I have no idea what she heard or was placed in my chart because she was focused on my symptoms being Covid. In fact, she told me, As far as Im concerned you have Covid. What?! Are you a doctor? Did you not hear a word I said? I told her I have chronic sinusitis and have had dozens of sinus infections and know the symptoms very well. Needless to say, the doctor approached me as if I had a number of Covid symptoms happening. I actually said to him, Listen to me, regarding what was going on for me. He did and I thanked him for listening and oh, I have a sinus infection! I understand the need to be precautious since were in a pandemic. However, I left there frustrated and asking myself why someone would be so unprofessional especially during this time. I strongly recommend going to another urgent care facility if you can. In closing, based on the most recent comments it appears Family Medical is overdue for a workshop on customer service.

I have been going here for a number of medical reasons. I am always happy with the result. Sometimes they do skip people but it depends on what they are there for. For example, I was going for a vitamin shot after chemo, and they would call me before the other people waiting. You just never know the reasoning.

After reading reviews I was a little bit skeptical about this place. I needed a pediatrician for my baby and this was one of the few places close to home, so I decided to give them a try. Everyone is extremely nice and attentive and I’ve never once been treated badly or had to wait longer than 15 minutes for my son to be seen. I had to get some blood work done for myself and had to come here also. Nothing but friendly staff at the Lab. and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. So far my experience here has been great.

This place is the least helpful care center Ive ever experienced. 30 minutes just for intake when we are the only people in the waiting room is not urgent care. Nobody we encountered had any sense of urgency and nobody even cared that the patient was having trouble breathing. If you can avoid going here for care, please do. It is the slowest and most inconsiderate hospital Ive ever been to.

My father just returned from this clinic. He and my mom arrived at 7:00 pm. The clinic stops seeing patients at 8:00 pm. Plenty of time to be seen right? ABSOLUTELY NOT.The waiting room was empty. The initial staff was wonderful and professional. After my dad got a room, he was told by the nurse to put on a “johnny”. Before he could do so, a Dr. Williamson arrived and told my father to have a seat. My dad asked if he should put on the Johnny, and was told “ we close in ten minutes, so I can do without the Johnny. When my dad started explaining his flu symptoms (which for him are potentially dangerous, as he has a heart condition)He was rushed through by Dr. Williamson, who said “we are in a hurry here. We turn off the lights and heat in ten minutes.”HE REALLY SAID THIS.My father said “ this seems to be a bad time for you. Should we reschedule?”Dr. Williamson said my dad seemed angry. My father replied : “ I’m not ANGRY, I’m just really sick”Here’s the kicker: Dr. Williamson said EVERYONE HERE IS SICK. We’ve been here since 7:30 THIS MORNING!”My father said “okay then. WE ARE OUT OF HERE.This place is an abomination and “Dr.” Williamson is a disgrace and anInsult to all of the fine men and women who are in the medical profession.

I’ve been using the Health Center since it opened and have never had a problem with the Center or it’s staff. I have always been treated with the upmost respect. I don’t know what others are complaining about bu May they should familiarize themselves with the facility before going there and passing judgment.

I have to say, I have never had those bad experiences. I have been there many times over the years and staff is always nice. The doctors do the best that they can and I have never been misdiagnosed. I usually follow up with my personal md after a visit. I was really surprised to see such bad reviews. I go at least quarterly for blood work. The lab people could not be nicer. Sometimes I need to wait, but its because they are busy and I go without an appointment.

I went to this medical building for the first time last Week for an ultrasound to check for some issues as well as possibly cancer so to be expected I was pretty nervous .To say that I was treated so rude is an understatement . From the moment I walked in I walked into the lab/mammogram/scan where there was 2 staff members complaining about something , I said hi I have an appt before I could even finish she said “did you register “ I said no I didnt realize I had to , she pointed and said out the door on the right . I went I registered and came back . My appt was at 3 and as I waited I watched them rudely say to person person did you register ? I work in customer service and simple solution here put up a sign by the door of the office “please register before checking in for your appt “ instead of getting mad at patients who don’t know . I was finally taken in for my appt at 3:50 . 50 min wait! As I walked in the tech sighed and said “I have to wear a mask because of your perfume” I said oh sorry. I didn’t even have perfume on that day just a light body lotion and probably my shampoo . The tech asked me what my symptoms had been , i told her and also told her I had just lost my mom last year to cancer . I couldn’t even believe I got a very quick “sorry” she didn’t speak a word to me during the uncomfortable procedure unless I asked her a question first , didn’t even turn the monitor towards me . It’s as if she was so mad she even had to be there doing her job . I got dressed and as I was walking out she stated to me “now remember no perfume next time “ I said to her I have never heard of such a thing for an ultrasound . I know no deodorant for mammograms and other protocols for surgery . She said no your not allowed to wear perfume they just don’t state it . I shook my head and walked out . I then called a good friend of mine who is also a tech and she said that’s false ! In fact it’s the techs that can’t wear fragrances . I cannot believe this place deals with people who are there for medical attention or tests for serious conditions . I will never ever step foot in this building again !!!! I left feeling even worse then when i had walked in . Terrible ! Not even worthy of the one star I had to give .

Very discouraging experiences here. I have been visiting this location since I was a child since my pediatrician is located here. I have visited this office 7 times in the past six months and have not had any progress with my symptoms. the doctors do not work their hardest to put 2 and 2 together to combine symptoms to find a diagnosis. since they are used to treating children who have no background knowledge of medical conditions, they commonly will dismiss patients with no relief to their symptoms. Dr. Stevens is a remarkably rude doctor who raised her voice at my mother and I while assessing my symptoms. Her bedside manners were less than satisfactory. She did not show any interest towards finding out what the causes of my symptoms were. After doing some research, I have discovered that she asked none of the important questions about how I was feeling and got little information about my symptoms. I am thankful that she is not my regular pediatrician, whom I have had no issues with.

I just had my first experience with Dr. Li, the staff at Tewksbury Family Medical Center, and at the 500 Salem St location in Wilmington (Winchester Family Medical Center) in order to have bloodwork drawn and my first mammogram. At the 500 Salem location, the registration desk was kind once I broke them from their personal conversations. There was no one at the information desk. When I made the mammogram appointment only a few days before, it wasnt mentioned that I shouldnt use powder or deodorant the morning of the appointment. I am also very surprised that my blood was drawn without verifying if I had fasted or for how long. What if I hadnt fasted properly or long enough? - then the tests would be inaccurate/unhelpful, my insurance company would have been charged for bloodwork that I would have needed to re-do (and those tests would likely have not been covered a 2nd time). Also, I find it disheartening that the only way I knew to fast was on the bloodwork order form. No one spoke to me about it. The form simply said FAST 8-10HRS with a phone number and address for the blood lab via a stamp. I had to google if a lipid profile fasting required a complete fasting (no water) or just no food or beverages beyond water. The woman who performed my mammogram was kind at first, then she would say ok, you can remove your right breast and well look at the left breast next so I placed my left breast on the platform and she would bark let me do it! I would say sorry, and she would say thats ok but she knew I was doing this for the first time and should have simply asked me to step back from the platform if she wanted me to remove my own breast but not put the other one up there. I tried to ease my own nervousness by making basic conversation like Now I can understand the stories about how others say that a mammogram squishes your boob as flat as it can go with a bit of a laugh and then admitted this really isnt all that bad and she was not comforting at all and just responded coldly with thats not how we describe it, and you find that people over-exaggerate, dont you? It was all very matter-of-fact. I was a good patient. I arrived early. I brought the order forms, which I was never instructed to do & I easily could have assumed they had electronic orders from the booking. The paperwork was all taken from me, and never returned. I made it very clear that Id never been to that location so any guidance they could give me on where to go, what to do, where to check in, etc. would be helpful... and they were all very impersonal and deeply involved with personal conversations whenever two employees were within proximity of each other. Im sure that works great once you build rapport with a patient, but I was new. I am disappointed that these are the medical professionals for the face of Dr. Li - as I found my first appointment with Dr. Li to be very pleasant and she was very wonderful. Even the front desk staff at Dr. Lis office seemed annoyed when I asked for my x-ray CD back (as I had to pay for it to transfer my medical records over to their office). It was snowing that day, so the woman who prints the copies from the CDs was shoveling and seemed annoyed that I expected it back same day. I didnt expect it back same day, I was told at check-in that I would have it back at the end of the appointment - so I simply reminded them they had my CD during checkout and got a heavy sigh and eye-roll in response with a I didnt do anything with it yet. Can I just call you when its ready for pickup? I have seen other reviews for this office stating that the front desk was rude, which I didnt experience until checkout. I really hope this isnt the norm and Im grateful that I dont have to go to the doctors often. I always enjoyed my MD visits and the follow-up testing, but this was a terrible first impression all around - with the exception of Dr. Li herself.
