Would give 10 stars if I could. Steve, Gwen, and staff are the absolute best. They have very large, shaded yards. They do not offer extra play time because they give every dog several hours of playtime for their standard rate. If I drop my dogs off for 2 days, they sleep for 3 days after we pick them up. Rovers grooming service is also spectacular.

I dont usually write reviews, but after we have taken our lab here several times, I cant say enough good things about this place! We have had some bad experiences with our cooper at other places where he was bitten and scared. When we take cooper here, hes always happy and well taken care of. He is excited to go back every time! We have him bathed and he smells so good for days. The owners are very sweet and kind. Best place hands down! We will be back!

Dropped my dog off for the first time here for a 3 day weekend, and it was a very easy laid back process with no stress! The owners showed me around when I first got there and let my dog walk around to get acclimated before I left which made me feel more comfortable. My dog came home tired & happy. Great prices and would definitely recommend this place!

Great day care for your pets

We have been taking our dog here for 8 years. We love this place. They are very diligent about making sure all the dogs are up to date with their shots. You can tell all the employees love their job. They are always so happy to see our dog when he walks through the door. The best part about the whole experience is that the dogs have a big play yard. They play in for hours with other dogs. Most facilities have a small area for the dogs to be walked only. There is always a staff member inside with the dogs to make sure everyone gets along. My dog does not get along with other dogs. They have the magic touch here. They will put my dog with the other dogs and he PLAYS with them! It warms my heart!

The owners of Rovers Ranch are so kind and have made our pups feel right at home! When we pick them up from daycare or boarding they are always happy and exhausted -- the perfect combo. Our young dog has more energy than sense and loves to play hard with the others. But our old hound is more of a loaf-around kind of guy. Both of them absolutely LOVE going to Rovers! Highly recommend for all ages, activity levels, and breeds!

My dog has been going to the ranch for about a year now when I go out of town for a 3 or 4 day trip. I have to say that each time we pull in the parking lot my pup gets super excited! The staff is super nice, the dogs have plenty of room to play and pricing is very reasonable!

If I was a dog I would demand to come here. This place is the best. The owners and staff greet every dog by name know there tendencies and needs. Understanding with late picks ups and last minute boarding needs. 10 stars if we could.

Our dogs love it here. The staff tells us every time how much they loved our dogs. Theyre excited when we call to check up on them. Theyve even sent us pictures! We have pitties and a staffy mix and there has never been any concern theyll treat then differently because of the breeds bad rep. Amazing place to take your pups.

Our Golden Retriever loves going to Rovers Ranch!! He definitely comes home tired out. We have done the drop-in play & he has stayed over! The Staff is very friendly & I feel very comfortable leaving him there

Most importantly, our dogs love it. Mrs. Gwen is awesome with our babies. Never worry when we have to leave them. They allow our dogs to kennel together which is important to our rescue Rattie.

My dogs absolutely look forward to vacations we take so they can go to Rovers Ranch to play with the other dogs and interact with the staff. I have one dog that enjoys playing with the other boarders/day care visitors and the other dog goes out to play too but sits next to the monitor and enjoys a head rub. What can I say!!!

My dog loves coming to the ranch! When I lived in Wilmington, she came to camp all of the time. Now, we go out of our way on our annual beach trip to bring our dogs (mine, my parents, and my brothers) so they can board here. The owners love what they do and want to make sure all dogs have the best stay possible, I would recommend them to anyone, by far the best Kennel in the area!

I have a very needy Shepard and initially I was worried about boarding him. When I first arrived at Rovers the owners were very friendly and helped put me at ease. Since his first time boarding, my dog now comes pretty frequently to day camp, and he practically loses his mind when we ask him if we wants to go to the Ranch.

My dogs did not even need to stay at rovers ranch for me to understand what kind of facility this place is. I was filling out paperwork for them to stay and looked out the window to see one of the employees hitting an elderly boxer. It looked to be some sort of discipline but I would never want anyone hitting my dog. While I saw this the owner was being extremely rude and talking about how he doesnt trust certain breeds of dogs. Based on the conversation, to me, it seemed he obliviously does not care or have a passion for dogs and that is somewhere I would never want to bring them. I would not recommend Rovers Ranch to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their pets.

My dog and I both love this place. She was very timid at first and hated to ride in the car. Now she jumps in because she knows where she is going for the day. She is worn out from all the play, leaving her too exhausted to wreak havoc at home.
