Review №1

I went to Dr. DelMauro for a condition and he prescribed a medication for the treatment. After 2 days, I called the office to let them know that the medication was not working. Their reply was to continue with the meds. The pain ensued. I called the office every other day to let them know the meds were still not working. They did not seem to care that the medication was not helping and they wanted me to have a 2nd CT scan. I just had one 2 weeks prior and my personal physician recommends that I limit my exposure to radiation because of repeated scans in my medical history, and I explained that to the nurse and the doctor. On the 10th day, the pain and discomfort was so bad I rushed to Dayton to see another physician. The new physician stated that the original medication was not prescribed for this particular condition because it was known to not work and that a CT scan was not necessary. Even today, when I called Dr. DelMauros office to tell them about the new physician and medication, they still did not seem concerned and still wanted me to have another CT scan. I do not recommend Dr. DelMauro.

I told them that I didnt want to have my procedure done unless it was fully covered by my insurance. I was assured that it was and it wasnt. I had out of pocket bills that I should not have had. My procedure went fine and I have no doubt that he is a fine doctor, but I dont appreciate being misled.

I visited Dr. DelMauro after being transported to the ER by life squad, and spending a weekend in the ER. I was referred to a GI Dr and called DelMaruos office on a Monday. His staff is AMAZING and so friendly and got me in on that Tues. At the appointment, I waited 45 mins past my apt time (which is fine because he was behind). However, once I was taken back, Dr. DelMauro came in and spent 5-10 minutes with me, ONLY to tell me that he needed to review my records and CALL ME BACK?!?!? He stated that he would call me back that night, but he didnt call me back until Thursday afternoon. And when he called me, it was him directly, and he called me 6 times. He stated that there were some things that were concerning from the tests that the ER had done. (duh.) And he was reaching out to check on me (two days later). In the mean time, I had already called another Dr, got in, and am being treated. And THAT Dr has had NO issues receiving or reviewing my records. I understand that Dr. delMauro may have received my records from the hospitals late, but he could have called me to tell me that, and to reschedule. Instead of allowing me to pay a $30 copay, sit in an office for an hour in pain, only to send me home. The ONLY good thing about my experience was his staff. Especially Nichole. She was amazing.
