DOS has the most terrific orthopedic doctors you could only dream of. I was mislead by First State Orthopedic and searched and found Delaware Orthopedic. They are so thorough in finding what is going on with your body.I had spine fusion and doing GREAT. If you or someone you know needs Orthopedic work dont hesitate,GO SEE DOS. THE BEST IN THE WORLD.

I came to Dr Eskander’s office after a week of radiating pain in my entire arm that had me in tears and unable to work. I needed emergency 3 - level vertebrae fusion in my neck. I was scheduled within 2 weeks and the procedure was a complete success! The entire medical staff are helpful, attentive, timely and caring. I went to Dr. Eskander for a 2nd opinion, he looked at my MRI and was concerned as I was too which is why I seeked a 2nd opinion. Dr. Eskander and his associates were fabulous!! I had a spinal fusion done on March 1, 2021. They went through my abdomen and my back to make sure everything was secure. I havent had the leg/nerve pain since. His office staff (Carrie, Amanda, Jamie)and physicians assistant Crystal are quick to respond to my many questions and concerns. Was on vacation in July and suffered a fall down steps. Was flown to Christiana care in Delaware for surgery. Considered gong home to Lancaster pa for surgery. Glad I stayed and had a C1 C2 fusion done by Dr Eskander.Went very well was home in two days. Eight weeks later able to golf again with just a little stiffness.Had 3 follow up visits went well discharged on 10/143 months after surgery. Not one complaint on the care I received. Highly recommend this practice if you ever need surgery.

I am not one that would usually share my experience or leave a review for services received. However, in this case, I realize the importance of trying to make a decision whether or not to have surgery or to stay in excruciating pain, for fear of surgery. I suffer from severe spinal stenosis, disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, etc. I could barely walk two feet without having to stop and bend over I was in such excruciating pain and the quality of my life had severely deteriorated. When I met Dr Eskander and read all of the good reviews about him, I must admit I was still scared to death to have the surgery done. I decided to have the surgery performed and I must admit it was one of the best decisions of my life. I am only 6 weeks out of surgery and I have regained full feeling in my feet, no more numbness, no more sciatica pain down my back, and my level of pain has severely decreased. I am so happy with Dr Eskander and his level of professionalism and the level of professionalism of the other doctors that he works with and his staff in general. If you are on the fence and are suffering from severe back pain, please, please go see Dr Eskander, he can help you and make a world of difference in your life. I am looking forward to getting back to my life again and I appreciate him and his staff for all that he has done.

Dr. Eskander and his team consisting of Donna and Amanda are AWESOME! They are all extremely personable and at the same time completely professional. Dr. Eskander took the time to make sure I understood everything and discussed different options. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to go one way or another.I also appreciate how “COVID compliant” DOS is. There were only a couple of other people in the waiting room and they did a good job blocking off seating. And lastly I was pleased with how close to my scheduled appointment time that I was seen.

The level of service I received from Dr. Eskander was second to none. The staff are ultra friendly, the office smells fantastic and is very clean, Covid measures are taken seriously, and wait times are minimal.The doctor did a fusion on my neck, and was incredibly professional. A great bedside manner is most appreciated these days as well. Being able to speak to your doctor like a human, and get down to earth but professional responses, is what really brings me back to a doctor. I came to Delaware Orthopedic Specialist and have 5 of the best specialists. Dr. Eskander has performed 4 major surgeries on my spine. Without the surgeries, I would be crippled. His care has my life going in a great direction.

I saw Dr. Eskander throughout 2018- 2019 for what turned out to be a slipped disc and a pinched nerve. He was conservative in his approach, and did not rush me to surgery, although that was the action we took after 6+ months of physical therapy and other interventions and no improvement. His team at DOS was amazing. One of them pursued insurance approval despite denials, by providing needed documentation. Another team member did a great job walking me through the surgery and recovery process. I am also pleased to report that the scar on my neck could not be cleaner, to the point that my dermatologist complimented whoever did that on their excellent work. I cannot speak for the other surgeons at DOS, but would not hesitate to support Dr. Eskander.

Dr. Eskander is one of the top surgeons I have ever met. He did a fusion on C5/C6 and C6/C7 last June. Him and his team have been seeing me over the last year for additional neck and back issues. Dr. Eskander goes above and beyond, not only medically but also with personal issues.I am having some isuues with Medicare denying a claim. When I mentioned it to Dr. Eskander he had his Law Firm call me to help with my appeal at no cost to me. He also gave me a letter to support my appeal.

Doctor Eskander and team/staff are great, had major issues with my back-nerve pain he opens me up out some new metal in fixed the problem and I was back to work in 2 months now 5 months later have been discharged unless I need them and my back feels great, still recovering here and there but almost back to do whatever I please and Im pretty rough on my body, so yeah well pleased and blessed, Thanks Doc and all involved, GB.

After two years of being in pain Dr Eskander was able to fix me up. I had a cage put in to repair my L5 S1 issue. One week after surgery I was completely off pain medication and up and at it. Excited for the long term improvement!! Great staff as well.

Dr. Eskander is knowledgeable, personal, and an excellent surgeon. Had disk fusion after trying PT and injections. Within 2 months o100% back to normal.

I was hurt on the job out for a while they wanted to put pins in my back I had 3 doctors tell me the same thing but not explaining to my why or giving me other options so I went to see Doctor Eskander and he gave me options and explained in English why he recommends something else he and his staff was very nice I was very comfortable I would recommend Doctor Eskander to anyone

I cant say enough about Dr. ESKANDER. there simply isnt enough room on this page. He is awsome!!! His colleagues are awesome! I see 3 to 4 doctors in the practice and not once have i experienced unprofessional behavior. Dr. ESKANDER was able to pin point pain that ive been in since 2006 and give me relief. It started with a visit to dr Andersanni for a shoulder tear. Instead of him insisting on surgery and dismissing me, he realized that i was having more neck pain issues than anything and sent me to dr Eskander. He and Crystal are very attentive and if you are having a crisis, they get back to you right away. ALL of the doctors in this practice work hand in hand to assure proper treatment.

Dr. Eskander did a 2 level spinal fusion on my lower back (L4-S1). Prior to, I was in constant pain for a year due to a an injury from a car accident. Lower back pain and left leg pain. I am 4 months post surgery and I feel great! Still going to physical therapy and wearing a bone stimulator. I’m a little stiff in the mornings and the leg pain comes and goes occasionally (which I’m told is standard for 6-12 months post surgery). I tried everything I could for a year to avoid back surgery with no results. I’m so glad I had the surgery done and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. Very friendly & professional. He explained everything in detail in ways I could understand. Checked in on me at the hospital during my recovery and has been great through all of my post-op check ups. I highly recommend Dr. Eskander.
