I have not met Dr Hooks personally. Although, I have spoken with his staff by phone and I cannot say enough good things about them! My referral was sent to his office and his nurse was so extremely helpful and kind! Unlike other baractric Drs offices in this town, where they dont take the time to explain anything and pawn you off. I am a Wilmington native and have seen several Drs here. By far Dr Hooks staff are the most professional, helpful, and are sweet as can be! The nurse made my day so much better with her positive attitude and willingness to explain everything in detail. Theyre hands down the best Drs office staff in Wilmington!

Dr. Hooks and his staff are honestly the best. Dr. Hooks actually takes the time to listen to the patient and their issues. I would recommend him to everyone with doctors who dont seem to want to listen.

Dr. Hooks was the best! He totally put my mind at ease for my Gallbladder removal surgery. I have never had surgery before in my life and he assured me that everything will be just fine. All of his nurses praised his practices to me as well, which helped me tremendously! He came and spoke with me twice before and my family and all of us think he is just so wonderful and personable! I felt he looked at me like a person and not a chart number! If you need Gallbladder removal I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hooks!!
