Easily the most efficient dental experience Ive ever had. Ive been going to Salling and Tate for a few years now. Dr. Tate is extremely attentive and professional. My hygienist Kinsley is amazing! Shes always in a great mood and makes the experience fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

You are greeted with a wonderful staff. Not fake acting, but actual nice, friendly staff. Dr Tate is always very helpful and listens to what’s going. He helps guide you to the right decisions. If there was a sixth star I’d give that!

As a client for 15 years Ive been witness to this offices commitment to their patients and employees. Salling & Tate seems to be a happy office. Everyone is cordial and engaging. The firm has grown, modernized and kept apace with technology in dentistry as well as customer service. Yes, its still a dentist office, but I wouldnt want to go anywhere else and their standards of care and contact are something any other business should watch. I’ve been seeing Dr Jamie for a few years now, I can’t say enough good things about him or his staff. From the time you walk through the door and see Heather at the front desk to checking out it’s always a comfortable and friendly visit. Dr Jamie is very personable, friendly and explains things in complete detail, there are no surprises. He along with his assistant and hygienists are top notch, I have and will continue to recommend his practice to those that are looking for an outstanding dentist.

I love my dentist... Dr Tate does not hesitate when Im in pain. He called me in right away for an appointment. I had some crowns replaced on my bottom teeth with top of the line porcelain crowns; youd never know I wasnt born with them. He does remarkable work. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! He is the 5th dentist Ive been to in Wilmington, NC. It wont be cheap...but worth every penny. Im never cheating on my dentist again!!!

Meeting Dr Tate was also a pleasure as he was interested in me not only as a patient but as a person as well. We had a nice chat and then a thorough checkup. Best dentist I’ve ever been to. In 30+ years of going to dentist, I’ve been to some good ones. I’ve also had bad experiences. Yet I’ve not experienced the combination of kindness, patience, AND knowledge of all things. We saw Dr. Tate, and he was just as good with my teens as he was with me and my husband. The hygienists Kinsley and Vicki were also amazing! You can tell they like their jobs. It’s so refreshing.

I had a great experience at Salling and Tate. My teeth are very clean now, and the staff there is the best! The atmosphere is very relaxed, and great for anyone with dental anxiety. They had great x-ray machines, and that process only took a few minutes. This was the first time I have gotten a 3D x-ray, which was really neat to observe, and it made me feel at ease that we didnt miss any hidden problems. Dr Tate was great, and everyone there is committed to long term dental health. If you need a dentist in Wilmington, you should go to Salling and Tate.

Simply wonderful visit to the dentist - something you really just dont hear. Easy check in, no wait time (though the pleasant office would be nice to enjoy for a wait if you had to), fun and intelligent staff made me aware of each step of the process. The procedure (a filling replacement) was efficient, and completely painless (huge sigh of relief there!). Doctor Tate is just wonderful - engaging, empathetic, and kept a running commentary on what he was doing, showing me pics of all that was going on. Easy checkout and done!

The people here are like family. I am diabetic and they make sure my blood sugar numbers are in a good range while I am there. They always have juice available if my numbers are too low and will not let me leave until they are sure I can safely drive. They show concern and genuinely care about their patients. I wish everyone in the medical/dental community was like the wonderful people at Drs. Salling & Tate!

This is hands down the best dentist I have been to ever. Everyone who works there is very nice and quick to get you in and out properly without you feeling rushed. The dentists themselves actually take the time to speak with you about everything you have going on and also call the night of to check on you which I thought was a pretty cool thing. Typical dentists come in quickly barely look you in the eye do a quick assessment (Half assed usually) and leave in a flash. Salling and Tate are the best of the best and I will refer them to everyone I know.
