My twins had their first dentist appointment yesterday and I was a little nervous! But they did wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly, Dr. Egg was amazing with them and even sung to them while they got their teeth cleaned. The entire office was extremely clean. Overall it was a great experience and I’m so glad we chose this dentist for our kids!!

Spoke with Dr. Egg after hours with a question about a dental accident. She was incredibly responsive, kind and helpful! I was very impressed and thankful for her expertise!

We were very pleased with the care that my son Daniel received at Dr. Eggs office. He had an emergency during off hours and Dr. Egg responded quickly and provided excellent care for Daniel. The team members in the office are very professional and caring. You can tell that Dr. Egg cares about her patients and she is an excellent dentist.

This business is amazing. The friendliest of staffs, the waiting room is colorful, clean and child friendly. My 3 year old son loved his visit, the hygienist and dentist were both amazing with him and he can’t wait to go back. They made the dentist appointment fun and I greatly appreciated it!!

Dr. Egg and staff was fantastic! This was my daughter’s first experience at the dentist and I couldn’t have been more pleased. My daughter was a little fearful at first, but I was able to hold her, and Dr. Egg sang to her during the cleaning. We left the office happy and stress-free. I highly recommend!

AMAZING!!! They made my 4 y/o daughter feel so comfortable and explained everything in a way that she understood. From the awesome mermaid blanket to the treasure chest at the end, it was honestly so much better than we expected! By far the best experience I could have asked for my child to have as her first visit. We will bringing our youngest daughter there also in 6 months. Dr. Egg and staff are truly awesome at what they do! My kids are now patients for life (well...until they outgrow the pediatric dentist at least)!!!

My family really enjoys going to Dr. Egg. Our 4-year-old didnt flinch when they did his x-rays which was infinitely better than at his last visit. He was still shy, but he allowed the dental assistants and Dr. Egg to do their thing without fuss. My older children really enjoy their time with her as well, they are very happy with their visits.Scheduling was really helpful with setting up the kids all at one time so we werent needing to wait in between each kiddo and get us in and out quickly and efficiently.Overall very happy with our two visits.

From the moment we walked in the door, I could immediately tell that Dr. Eggs office was the perfect place to bring my little one for his first dental visit. From our check-in interaction with their sweet office staff, all the way through picking out his prize from the treasure chest, Dr. Egg and her staff were absolutely AMAZING. They knew just the right things to say to keep him calm during his first exam/cleaning, and their patience and kindness were exactly what he needed. Absolutely outstanding experience! The office was very kid-friendly and fun, the staff was so patient with our children and explained each step. They even sang while assess our 20month old to help comfort her! I cant compliment Dr. Egg and her staff enough.

At another pediatric dentist office, they tried to bully us into sedating our daughter to force her to get her teeth worked on by a dentist she didn’t click with for whatever reason, rather than allowing her an appointment with the dentist she preferred. Even after offering to pay extra to allow her a chance with the dentist that she was requesting, when they refused we decided to leave that practice. I had two or three pediatric dentists in mind to interview and see who would be the best fit for our family. We didn’t even have to meet with any other offices after meeting Dr. Allison Eggleston. The woman literally spent an hour sitting with us and Daphne and discussing her dental health and all the various options very thoroughly. Today we went back in and had Daphne‘s teeth taken care of. Shockingly, they allowed me back in the treatment room the entire time. Dr Egg and her staff were wonderfully kind and obviously very proficient in their skills. They sang along with The Little Mermaid to her and I loved watching her giggle as they drilled (“tickled”) her teeth. No sedation or numbing medication necessary! They all did an amazing job and I want to sing highest praises! So refreshing to find a pediatric dentist that is patient and genuinely cares about the patients and their families. Some of you Wilmington natives might be interested in knowing that she was born and raised here and attended UNCW before going to Chapel Hill for dental school.

Fantastic Dentist. From the very start my 3 year old son was nervous, and they handled him so well. He ended up having a lot of problems that the needed to fix, and both Dr. Egg and Angela were so helpful, and informative, and great at explaining all of our options, along with their own recommendations so my husband and I could do whats best for our son. I appreciate straight talk, and that is exactly what they gave me, in the kindest and gentlest way possible.

I love Dr Egg and her team! I have 3 children ages 3 (twins) and 18 months. I take all 3 children in by myself and the team is so accommodating. There is a hygienist for each one of the kids and they adjust the cleanings based on each childs comfort level. Dr Egg is a natural in working with children. My kids loved dancing with her at the end of our appointment. Dr Egg also takes time to explain whats going on with each child and answer my question. I dont feel rushed when Im talking with her.

My daughter has had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. When I took her to see Dr. Egg , her staff was amazing and kind made my daughter feel at ease even though she was super nervous. Dr. Egg was kind and sweet and very patient with my daughter and made her feel comfortable. Now she has to have some work done and they are making every accommodation to keep her from being scared and nervous . Dr. Egg is the best and I highly recommend her to anyone . Thank you .

Excellent! Very professional; beautiful office that the children will love playing in plus coffee and tea for the parents :) Extremely knowledgeable and professional staff. They do their best to make the children comfortable and take all types of insurance. A TV in the waiting room might be nice (havent been in a few months- maybe they have one now). The kids have TVs in the ceiling for when they get their teeth taken care of. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic pediatric dental practice! Our first visit was an emergency (especially in mommys mind) trip that was spawned by my 2 year old falling face first into the coffee table. As a mother, I tried not to panic, but of course, inside, I was. One phone call to Dr. Egg eased my mind. Not only was her staff extremely professional, Dr. Egg took a quick second to personally speak with me about the situation. I was seen the same day and was pleasantly surprised by the continued personal attention we received though out our entire visit. The office was clean and decorated for a childs pleasure. In fact, I had a hard time getting my 5 year old, who had stayed in the waiting room with my mother, to leave.The best part about this practice is Dr. Egg herself. She was extremely kind and patient with my child. Her understanding of children and how she is able to comfort them, is so endearing to myself as a parent. My two year old had x-rays taken and had her tooth shaped during this appointment and left with so much excitement that she was still telling everyone of her trip to the dentist weeks later.My extreme thanks to you all for providing such a safe environment for my child. We will be recommending your practice to all of our friends!

The best pediatric dentist I have found. All 3 of my young boys have been seeing Dr Egg for almost 3 years. They all like going to see her. The office is full of toys and fun things to do. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They work well with my children and spend time to inform me of what is going on.We drink bottled water and I was using non florinsted tooth paste so unfortunately we had 9 cavities. Dr Egg was awesome in that she did not lecture me or assume I was not brushing teeth and told me the proper, safe amount of fluoride tooth paste to use. The boys have not had a cavity in 2.5 years since. I appreciate her being kind the whole time. I have heard of other dentist who have given some friends of mine a hard time and made them feel guilty. I am really thankful she did not do that to me. I highly recommend her practice.

We had the best experience at our first dental appointment with Dr Egg! My daughter is 3. I was nervous she was not going to let them clean her teeth. But with the help of super friendly staff and a super cool tv to watch, cleaning AND X-rays were a breeze! Thank you Dr Egg. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Called today after seeing the commercials and reading the reviews but was told they aren’t taking any new Medicaid patients. I make six figures but My child is special needs and on medicaid. There was no reason given as to why they wouldn’t accept him. so feeling defeated and discriminated against.

Our 2 year olds first dental visit was a success thanks to Dr. Egg and her staff! We often play “Dentist” at home and of course we have to take turns pretending to be Dr. Egg! ~ Our great experience lives on at home;). ~. We look forward to having our teeth cleaned again! The dental assistants are so great with the children. I have a 3 year old that loves to go. Dr. Egg is the best with the children, patient, loving and very informative to the parent. This is the best place for Pediatric Dentistry in town. Wonderful staff who make you feel welcomed and caring towards children. My daughters actually love going to the Dentist. Number 1 Dentist office!!!!!!

My son needed serious work due to a cancer fight. Dr. Egg was a blessing to find and worked with our oncologist to put together the best plan and treatment. My son is now back on track to a healthy smile. I could not ask for a better dentist.Not to forget the rest of the office. They walked me through finance/insurance, providing me information to give my provider to get pre-approval so we had a smaller out of pocket (even then they offered a payment plan). And the dental hygienist are all so kind with my kids; I dont even think the movie playing above the treatment chairs are necessary.Also, one of the best waiting rooms ever, no kid should be bore.

I am seriously shocked right now, because usually a business of this caliber has more reviews. They are a 5 STAR all the way!!! Not only is Dr. Egg WONDERFUL, but her entire staff have it all together too!!! Originally we drove (completely from the other side of town) to get a 2nd opinion from Dr. Egg. The original dentist we went to (only 1.5 miles from us) came highly recommended with 100+ reviews, but Dr. Egg’s treatment plan made waaaay more sense, looking at the plan for its long term effects, providing a more caring experience overall. I really feel like I am not doing her or her or her staff justice in this review, but trust me!!! I am very hard to please and she took amazing care of my baby boy!!! Thank you again Dr. Egg and your amazing staff!!!

Ever since our first visit a few weeks ago, my daughter has watched Dr. Egg Pediatric Dentistry commercials on Youtube!. Shes a huge fan now! Dr. Egg is personal when it comes to your child. She knows how to talk to kids and relate to them so they feel safe and comfortable. Two other dentist offices (1 ped and one general) attempted to get x-rays, but werent able to due to my daughter being too afraid. But when we visited Dr. Allison Eggleston, she walked right up and sat in the chair and did x-rays like it was no problem. I was shocked and even told the dental hygienist so. All staff are very friendly and caring to your questions and needs. My daughter just had fillings done ( 4yr old) and my nerves were a wreck prior, but Dr. Egg and her O.R. manager Angela made me feel comfortable and though I was still worried, they help set my mind at ease. My daughter did great! Wasnt afraid or fussy! She cant wait to see Dr. Egg again! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist !

We were vacation in Topsail, NC last week and my son broke his front tooth. I called Dr. Egg, after finding her info via google, and she immediately called me back! And this was a Saturday evening! She was kind and had me text her photos of the injury so she could give me her opinion over the phone. If we were local, we would 100% make her our dentist!
