The counselor I worked with, Todd, was wonderful. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable which I greatly appreciated. Make sure they actually accept your insurance as they did not take mine but failed to inform me and let me continue to pay the full amount for several weeks. Administration seems to care more about gross profit from a patient rather than their actual progress.

I really wanted to love seeing Havah Henzler but there were so many red flags. First she said she’d see me on a set schedule but continuously had to call me at random times to reschedule. More than once, in the middle of our session, there would be a knock on her door and she’d abruptly leave the Telehealth session. After waiting over five minutes I would leave also because I would rather go back to work than wait for someone who left with no explanation. And I don’t know about you but I rather have uninterrupted therapy. There were other little red flags that I ignored along the way as well. I wish I would have stopped at the first because when I decided to stop seeing her, I cancelled my appointment and moved on with my life. Weeks later, I’m charged $50 and realize that she set an appointment for me without my knowledge and without my consent and I had to pay the no show fee.

I was only at this practice for 4 weeks. My therapist was generally really nice, but she did something I was extremely uncomfortable with. On my last session, she was about 15 to 20 minutes late and appeared on TeleHealth video in her car with two people in the back seat and a driver. I was horrified nothing was addressed about the fact she was not alone and started talking to me as if in our usual therapy setting. I never said a thing because I’m not at all a confrontational person. Even though she wore AirPods, I felt like my privacy was completely violated. I even said I had no issue rescheduling for another day, but the therapist was a little pushy saying we were fine and could continue the session. What hurts is that I’m trying to set boundaries, but I was taken advantage of by the very person I’m supposed to trust with my mental and emotional health. Had I been a different person (i.e., confrontational), the therapist probably wouldn’t have put me in such a position. Further, had I been a person with more difficult or debilitating mental health (e.g., suicidal), maybe something worse could’ve happened as I felt the therapist had a complete disregard for my time.

I was having a mental health crisis and made an appointment to see Havah Henzler. She spent most of our time looking at her phone, texting, and giggling at her messages. She asked a few questions and then repeated the same questions, and it was clear that she was not paying attention to me at all. This is especially egregious since I was truly in a bad place mentally and really needed to talk with a professional. I would actually give zero stars if that were an option.

Joseph, while not perfect, helped me through the roughest point in my life. The biggest complaint was the administrative side of this business. Scheduling issues, payment confusion, and other issues added stress to the process. If that ever gets straightened out, this would be a 5 star service
