I have been a patient for over 15 years. Dr. Wadwah is a good provider. She is honest and works with her patients. I can understand the complaints about wait time, when you go into the office. However, to have a good provider who cares about her patients and not treat you as a number, makes it worth the wait. Also, she doesnt rush you in and out of your visit. Like many other providers who views you as a time slot. If youre looking for a good therapist Donna Tuittes is excellent 👌

I have been with Dr. Wadhwa for many, many years. She is an excellent Doctor. The service by the office staff has improved significantly. It works best if you make request online verses calling. I had an issue that was taken care of very fast by using text messaging. I would highly recommend this office.

My appointment always starts late. Today it was 45 minutes late and it’s really getting old for me. I need this medication though so I probably will still go to her. The actual appointments are efficient and don’t take long.

We have been coming to Harmonious minds for almost 8 years. The staff has always been friendly and professional. When my then 5 yo was experiencing issues in school due to behavior issues the staff was excellent in explaining the process of medication management. We were emotionally affected to say the least but everything was explained thoroughly and in a manner we could grasp effectively. A few years in my son needed therapy services they could not provide and his therapist and psychiatrist assisted with the referral and transition. That program was not effective and when we were unfairly dismissed without scripts my son needed a wonderful woman whose name I can’t remember called that facility and helped up get scripts in order for my son to safely transfer back to Dr Wadwa. Rebecca Levin and Michael were two of the most genuine abs wonderful therapists that helped us immensely in navigating mental health ever since my son was 5/6 years old. We will continue to work with Harmonious Minds as it has been extremely beneficial to my entire family as a whole.

Dr. Hassan was great . Listens to what you need & what you have going on and doesn’t rush through the appointment like most psychiatrists I’ve seen in the past . I’ve never had any issues with this practice and I’ve been going here for almost 2 years . The front desk receptionists have always been very helpful , and their online system of emailing / texting is extremely helpful if you don’t have time to get through on the phone .I recommend :)

Rude and unprofessional. They are discriminatory about who they will take as a patient. Also, mistakenly sent me a text message containing personal information regarding another prospective patient.

Have gone two visits with doctor hasan without medication refills. I have survive seasonal disorder and sleep deprivation disorder and in spite of requested refills have had no response from the office or the doctor have no response. I am in an anxiety stage but they don’t seem to care or or overwhelmed with patients. I am suffering.

Been going here for years... Never really had many issues of course waiting 35 minutes to an hour after your scheduled appointment is time consuming and makes it hard to find a ride. However I have had good communication experience with the psychiatrist and the councilors that have come and gone. Although it may not seem worth three stars in my opinion its all about the communication with any type of doctor.

The people at the front desk are always so welcoming, nice and helpful. Dr. Hassan is wonderful and very responsive to your needs. I absolutely love this place and have been coming here for years and have never had a negative encounter.

I have ADHD&depression and made an appointment for medication management after my old doctor left her practice, as the location was more convenient than my old location. I fully expected to provide the documentation of my testing/diagnosis for adhd, and wouldnt ask for a prescription without it. However, I DIDNT expect to be treated the way I was during the appointment. My doctor continued to bring up the fact that she wouldnt prescribe without my records, even after I told her that Id provide them before I needed a new prescription, to the point that it felt very accusatory. She asked why I made an appointment before my current script ran out (again, I didnt ask for her to renew my meds before my current script ran out, I just made the appointment so I wasnt waiting until the last minute). She continually brought up the fact that I was previously on anti-anxiety medication to treat panic attacks for a short period of time following a traumatic incident in the past, even though I told her that I no longer needed it, wasnt asking her to prescribe it and hadnt used it in a long time (again, I would understand establishing a medical history, but she repeatedly returned to the topic). She emphasized the fact that I would need drug testing in order to get my medicine (not something Ive had to do in the past, but again, not a problem. I dont abuse my medication). I understand establishing a history before prescribing controlled meds, but no other doctor in the past has ever made me feel so uncomfortable. There is a way to do this without shaming your patients.After all that, I brought up the subject of switching off of a stimulant-based ADHD medication to a non stimulant based ADHD medication. I told her the medication worked, but had unpleasant side effects, which are specific to the stimulant medication. She told me that all medications have side effects so there was no reason to try a different medicine if the one I was on was effective. I would understand if there was a specific reason that she thought it wasnt right for me, but the idea that I shouldnt try to avoid side effects which have a major impact on my life just because everything *might* have side effects is absolutely ridiculous.

I have been a patient at Harmonious Mind for several years, where Dr. Manisha Wadhwa prescribes my medication and assists me with any issues I may have in my life.Ive found Dr. Wadhwa to be consistently helpful. She has vast knowledge and experience, and talking to her is exceedingly easy and comfortable.  If I told Dr. Wadhwa that I know the moon is made of Bleu Cheese (for instance), she has the rare ability to not act surprised or put off in any way.  When I describe a condition to her, she knows exactly what Im talking about.  These traits are invaluable in a psychiatric professional.Dr. Wadhwas personality is warm, compassionate and giving. I have never felt like I was on an assembly line, as with some other doctors who see you initially for 2 minutes, are obviously not interested in anything you have to say, and immediately declare you have whatever the popular condition of the decade is--shuffling you off with hundreds of pills that you really dont feel are going to be beneficial (yes, Ive experienced that elsewhere).Dr. Wadhwa is careful and wise and has never treated me as if I was not quite human or normal. The office staff at Harmonious Mind is always friendly, courteous and professional to me.  An issue may occasionally arise--just as it may at any professional business I could name; but in the years Ive been coming here, Ive found they are very few, and once experienced and relayed to Dr. Wadhwa, never occurred a second time.  No one is perfect--but I feel that this doctor strives for the best experience she can offer her patients.Dr. Wadhwa is the ONLY doctor in her profession whom I would recommend to anyone--without reservation.  I am very glad I found her.

As a patient with Drs Asthana and Wadhwa for over 16 years, I have always been treated with respect. There occasionally is a wait to see Dr Wadhwa but when its my time , I dont feel rushed.

I have had a bad experience with Susan Getty-Evans. In treating my young child she arrived late to his appointment. I would not seek counseling for my child from them but they required it before seeing an actual Dr. I would have rated them zero if possible. They are supposed to be helping patients but instead pick and chose which mental health patient they like before deciding to continue treatment. Susan is completely unprofessional. Apparently the therapist was upset that I told her she was late to our scheduled appt. My health insurance is paying for this for my child.

Terrible staff. Have had so many issues. unprofessional on so many levels. Lost appointments and then challenged by staff ... Do you have an appointment card? Didnt realize I need proof that I made an appointment. unable to reach them by phone to reschedule an appointment, emailed, messaged and called to leave messages only to be eventually asked by the staff what number I rang from so they could check their records to determine whether I actually called and to be advised they had no record of my emails or messages. Called to get info about my next appointment dated because I couldnt find it, only to be told by the staff that I should have put the card on my refrigerator with a magnet so I wouldnt have to call. The original Doctor I was seeing left the practice and the separation was handled with an unprofessional letter. Truly you cant make this stuff up. Actively looking for a new doctor. Tried and tried, even provided this feedback to the doctor with no change or improvement.

Horrible customer service... it’s bad enough that the environment on the inside is dim, ugly, and unwelcoming. The staff are also unwelcoming. Now i’ve never been to a psychiatrist before so i have nothing to compare it to, but not one staff member smiled the entire time i was there, the lady i saw did nothing but berate me with questions i could hardly understand. I’ve never had a doctor put in so little effort to make a patient feel comfortable before asking them a hundred extremely personal questions. I went there for major depression disorder and the appointment i had triggered an episode it was so bad. Hopefully I will not have to go back.

These people have no business in customer service. I was denied via text message that they werent going to be able to accomodate me and could NOT give me an explanation why. Judging from their abundance of low reviews...PROBABLY DODGED A MAJOR BULLET. I aint even mad!Edit: In response to the owner: You know, I couldve been on my last thread when I contacted you and this is how you treat a potential customer? Some behavioral health facility you are... you should be ashamed! I understand you have policies, however, you never explained to me what part consitutued for me not being accomodated. What you needed to do is call me like I had asked and explain to me over the phone what the problem was. Instead you ignored my replies and hoped I’d fade into the night. Well that gets you a 1 star review.

Just finished an appt for our daughter who has anxiety and depression. She was scared but Ema was fantastic with her. She put our daughter totally at ease, which means the world to us. Very personable and compassionate.

I applied to become a patient and was turned away for FMLA and looking for medical clearance for work. The secretary got smart with me multiple times to the point she was yelling and I told her to calm down. She was under the assumption that I was looking for social security which I wasnt. She gave me a number to call twice and she hung up. Very unprofessional service. Stay away. Not with your time dealing with rude people.

My husband and I have been going here for the past almost year and a half, and though we have had some minor issues along the way our experience over all has been very good. My husbands doctors are Ema and Mariella. Both of them have been great. I personally see Susan and Dr. Hassan and they have been an excellent support system for me. I am grateful to be a patient there.

New to the area in need of care. Not helpful!! Dr. Wadhwa prescribed blood pressure medication for issue. Had to contact my cardiologist . Wary of this . Seeking help elsewhere. For anxiety: gabapentin??

Can I give negative points? I only gave 1 point because I had to give something.Stay away from Ema Ndi! To say that this woman is rude and unhelpful is an understatement. She actually threw me out of her office. Not 5 minutes into an appointment with my son did she call her receptionist and tell her to come to her office to act as a witness. Really? Who does that? That she thought about that at all tells you the kind of person that you are dealing with.She clearly thinks that her time is more important that yours. For a mental health professional you would expect her to have better people skills than she does.

I just came from a session with susan getty. What a horrible experience. Shes always late for my appts for 6 months very unprofessional. And when i started expressing my feelings about her tardiness and inconsistencies she starts screaming at me. no way do you treat a person with severe psychological disabilities like that!!! What a huge disappointment this facility is i feel victimized all over again!!!! They should give me a formal apology for their professional misconduct!!! Quite distasteful and severely horrendous!!!

Worst place to be a patient. Dr Hasan has you wait for at least 45mins each time you make an appointment. I’ve had this same experience more than 5 times in a row. At least 3 people check in to visit her while I’m still waiting. No one there is welcoming, more so like robots. Sad when people “work” just to receive a paycheck.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. i take my child here for therapy sessions and medication reviews. First, they have messed up my childs medication and dosage so many times its unbelievable. I have had to make multiple phone calls on more than one occasion to get the proper dosage when they have called it in wrong. trying to get in touch with someone is next to impossible. I left a vm for my childs therapist on a Wednesday and Thursday, still waiting for a callback on Friday. only to call again 8 times before someone in the front office actually picked up the phone and told me that person doesnt work on Thursdays and Fridays, ok fine....but she didnt bother to check her messages before she left on Wednesday? knowing she wouldnt be back in the office for the next 4 days? and the staff that work the front desk, just plain rude. i dont know how they pass their interview process, or maybe they just dont care who they hire. If my child didnt like her therapist, i wouldnt even bother going back. would suggest to anyone looking, FIND ANOTHER PLACE! YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES HERE!

A staff member on the second floor doing paperwork behind the sliding glass.....We all heard you yell at your daughter on the phone and totally didnt help my anxiety as a new patient. Also your customer service email does not work probably because you havent put my info in the system or inputted it in wrong. Im faced with tackling your phone line. The front desk lady smells like cigs. It was unprofessional to wait an hour to be seen from my scheduled time. I know you guys are there to help us but you guys need some help too.

Dr wadhwa is absolutely amazing I have been to psychiatrists Throughout my whole life and she is the only person who has listened to me she respects my wishes and will only give me a new medication until I am comfortable I do have bad reactions to many medications she is also usually very available I would suggest the app for video her office can be really busy and she knew I had a lot of anxiety she is not only my dr she is my friend I pray she will always be my drThank you dr wadhwa

Be very careful of this place. As you see the reviews are all bad. They are rude, late/overall unprofessional, and over medicate. Its truly too important a situation to trust to places like this.

If i could give them less then 1 star i would!!! The office staff is HORRIBLE they ruddest women i have even spoken with answered the phone a screamed at me for 5 minutes because i didnt know i could change therapist without talking to the therapist i didnt want to see anymore. If you want to get better and care about being recpected DONT GO HERE. They should really be closed!!!!!

Dr Hasan is an excellent Dr and I didnt have any problems with any person working at Harmonious Mind I work in a Pediatric Office we referred a lot of teenagers and always got wonderful feedback. I highly recommend

Extremely Unprofessional, no compassion. How are you treating people with severe issue like this...Took my son here for the 1st time. The Therapist came over to him, didnt introduce herself, of course he wouldnt go with her. She told me to let her know when he was ready, approximately 1 minute later I convinced him that it was ok to talk to her and she grabbed her purse and walked out. Then the other staff in the office decided it would be a good idea to argue with me rather than try to help my son. I was told that she had other appointments and couldnt wait all day. My appointment was at 3pm by 3:10 she had left. Would have given 0 stars but it would not allow me to.

It is impossible to get anyone to respond when you call the office. Everything goes directly to voicemail. When you leave a message, you may or may not get a return phone call. It is very difficult to contact the office in general to make an appointment, change an appointment, or contact the doctor. It is very frustrating.

If I could review in minus I would. My daughter had an appointment for meds and counseling for her mood disorder..she was having a bad day and was not happy it was a new Dr. Because she was uncooperative the Dr refused to give her medication and told me to bring her back when she was ready. She was so upset that that day she went to Rockford. She was there a week and they prescribed her enough meds for a month and the nurses there made the appointment at Harmonious Minds for her to be seen for meds 1 month later on Dec 12th. We saw Susan for counseling on Wed 12/7. During that session I mentioned to her we had a med check on Monday. She looked it up and said it looks like it hasnt been confirmed would you like to leave a note with me? I said sure. On Friday I got a message that it still wasnt confirmed so I called. I was told by reception that they refused to see her and that she wasnt stable. I explained this is a mistake she was stable since release and was there 2 days ago..she transferred me to Susan who told me she couldnt talk but would call back. No call back. On the morning of her appointment I call six times....leaving messages with administration and the Dr. I got a message from Susan on the 22nd. 10 DAYS LATER!!!! No explanation.. Just that she was sorry and she should make an appointment with someone since they wont see her. We waited a month for this appointment to be told 2 days before they wouldnt see her. This is a office concerned for your mental health?? Now my daughter is without medication and the first appointment I can find for her that takes our insurance is February. Absolutely the most shotty Negligent medical practice I have ever seen.

Dr. Dupree is an excellent Psychiatrist; the staff is friendly and helpful--I would definitely recommend this place.

Back in 2011 I ended up in a mental hopsital after being prescribed the highest dosage of Lamictal in combination with 2 mg. of Klonopin and had to drop out of college due to mental instability. I also had to move back home to seek more intensive mental help. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I went to two different psychologists after this who were appalled to hear that I was put on this high dosage in combination. When I requested my medical records from this office for legal purposes they all of the sudden didnt have them, yet said that I owed them money. Dr. Durpee should not be practicing anymore. She just prescribed pills as if that would fix it all until I had a mental break.

So far .. no big issues ..I like the staff..

Horrible customer service!!!They milked me for 2 visits... I had to get a complete physical, drug screening, and a third item, I passed everything, yet she would not prescribe what I was on before, and had worked for me.

Called to schedule an appointment on 6/10/16, at 4:45pm I was speaking with a receptionist who was very rude, wouldnt let me speak, and refused to understand my availability. I hung up, she called back and with additude said Im confused as to why you hung up on me.I told her she clearly doesnt have the ability to speak with people under the care of the doctors there and that I would call at a different time, or call a different doctor. How unprofessional.

Look for a another place!! Dr. Wadhwa charges patients if the are late but she doesnt see you until 1 or 2 hours after your schedule app time! Unbelievable we have to wait so long just for 2 questions then leave again. The waiting time is Unacceptable!!
