I was very surprised at how professional and polite this team was! I explained on the phone that i was extremely nervous and had a lot of anxiety. They were all so nice and didnt make me feel like i was a outcast! The dentist hygienist was absolutely amazing! It felt like i was family! They explained every single detail to me. I have no insurance and Molly (at the front desk) worked with me to get financed!! I will always come here from now on!! If you are nervous or scared to go... this place is DEFINITELY where you want to go!!

Super welcoming, people here went above and beyond!This was my first visit and I have to say it was incredible! Minimal wait time, knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Literally everyone I interacted with was very kind and professional. Lisa, one of the hygienists who worked on my teeth, stayed pretty late to get me ready before my trip abroad and did an amazing job. Thank you all for a wonderful experience, will come again!

Extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable in all aspects of this dental office. I was there for 3 different procedures in one day. Business manager Bianca was extremely helpful as well. Emily the hygienist was great too. Explained everything in great detail. I Would recommend this office in Williston Vt highly to anyone.

I had a very good experience at Aspen. Molly and Tori were very helpful in explaining what my course of action should be. Holly was my dental assistant and she was very pleasant. Dr Acone was the dentist you checked out my tooth, he was Aldo very informative and pleasant. Overall it was a great experience.

Terrible experience. Called 2 weeks ago for lost filling. Was scheduled 9/27 for this reason. Went to appointment. An exray was taken. Waited 25 minutes for Dentist to come in, also expected my tooth to be fixed. He maybe spent 3 minutes or so with me. He looked in my mouth, said yes they could fix my tooth. Didnt have time today. WHAT? So next appointment would be 10/27 to fix tooth. Also was charged $95.00 to be told my I lost my filling and they could replace it. This to me is senior abuse. I will get help if billed for this. I need the $95.00 to go for REAL dental work I need, as I have limited income. Also found another Dentist I am seeing today who will fix my tooth. This is ASPEN DENTAL.

First time there as a new patient I was in the waiting room for 45 minutes for a scheduled visit. Was told there had been emergencies.Was unable to make next 2 appointments due to work, I rescheduled with more than 24hr notice.Then I ended up with an emergency several weeks later on a Saturday over Labor Day weekend. Scheduled next available appointment online for the following Wednesday. In pain, with disfiguring swelling, from Saturday until first thing Tuesday morning at which time I called them. Could not see me sooner, was told to go to a walk in clinic or ER.My initial review would have been 2 stars. Not a fan of going to the dentist anyway and felt that my emergency was just as important as the day my appointment had been grossly delayed resulting in me leaving without being seen, but I had to wait, they didnt.Fortunately I was able to find/pay for an independent online med site consult and got antibiotics called into a local pharmacy. Was such a huge relief of pain once I had two doses down. TAKE THEM ALL!!! I wish I had found this option on Saturday when it all started. Dont wait.Finally in for my new patient visit on Wednesday.Everyone was WONDERFUL and I was seen on time.Bianca, Holly, Emily, Ian and Dr. Acone were amazing and knew I was in the right place. Dental health thoroughly discussed, all questions asked were answered, financing available which I never expected, extensive imaging.An A+++ experience with CARING PROFESSIONALS.I went back the following week for another appointment to resolve the emergency, had to wait until antibiotics kicked in.My appointment was pushed back by the office several hours, another emergency, but they called me mid morning and explained the situation. 5 stars on this communication though it was a bit of an inconvenience.Was seen promptly at the rescheduled time.Dr. Acone & assistant were fantastic, so grateful.I had a million questions about going forward, I felt only 75% were answered. Another reason Im not giving a 5 star review.I was not asked if/when I wanted to schedule my next appointment which I expressed a desire to. Answers about after care not answered.Recommendations not given on best course of action for the future, which I asked for.All that said, I am the master of my own destiny and I will schedule another appointment with them. Their location is convenient with ample parking. Appointments can be scheduled/rescheduled online.Office staffer Bianca was phenomenal, gave me so much information and confidence in the process.Front desk staff is friendly & courteous. The doctor, back of house staff and Bianca are five stars and then some... Many thanks.

If you have an emergency..dont expect to get it taken care of same day. First, youll wait about 45 mins after your apt is suppossed to be. Then when you do get taken back it takes about another 30 mins of xrays and evaluations. Then the dentist will look at whats bothering you and send you to schedule it. Ive been in some solid pain for days( which i told the dentist about) and they looked at it for a min and said you could probably use a filling. Sent me on my way.Only blessing is I didnt pay for this stuff and the front desk reciptionsit was nice. Other than that, if my tooth pain is causes something else there will be a nice lawsuit coming this places way.

What a great experience for someone walking in with tooth pain. I was attended to quickly by Josh in the office, Sara the hygienist was so accommodating and Dr. Thomas was very helpful and informative. Todd the office manager was exceptional and when I left I felt like I had been listened to and heard. Thank you for the quick appt.

Aspen Dental was great! The whole crew was very friendly, professional, and compassionate. Ive seen them do very quality work. Dr. Kevin Acone is also very friendly and compassionate but also very understanding. He realized and understood the pain I was in and took me in right away when other dentists were turning me away saying I need an appointment. I was very happy that he took me in without an appointment and relieved the pain I was in. The best quality a doctor can have is the want to help customers and thats what I experienced with Kevin at Aspen Dental.

I was not a customer of Aspen Dental when I called. I broke a tooth one (late) morning called in the afternoon to see about an appointment. They fit me in at 8:15 the next morning. Options were discussed and the tooth was repaired on that same day. Thanks so much for the quick service and prompt care!

I made an appointment at colchester dental group to see about getting a chipped tooth fixed, and i had to wait a few months. When my appointment finally came, i called to confirm, and they said they mistakenly scheduled me for that same day, but next year... I told them i was in pain, and they basically shrugged their shoulders, and said i could reschedule another month out. I was incredulous. So i called aspen dental to see if i could get somewhere else sooner. They got me in the very next morning for xrays. The staff was quick, efficient, and very kind. They truly cared about my pain. When i went to schedule the actual procedure with them, they apologized again about my pain, and got me in to get it fixed that very next day. I was amazed at what can happen when a business actually cares about their customers. I highly recommend Aspen Dental!

UPDATE**** Upon seeing this review and the Dr not knowing this happened to me Im extremely happy to say they immediately rectified the sitiuation and made things right! I cant thank you Dr Acone and Bianca enough for taking my concerns so seriously. I truly appreciate what you have done for me today!This place is a joke Ive had consistant problems since my very first appointment. I should have gone elsewhere and thats on me. I had extractions and dentures put in and 3 weeks later im told I cant get in any earlier to get an adjustment because they dont have the time so I get to wait another 2 weeks with dentures that dont fit are almost falling out and that hurt. They clearly dont care about their patients even though they claim they can get you in within a day if you are having problems!

They were all just So happy to want to help you and willing to do what ever they can do to get you to be able to have a beautiful smile 😁 and I So badly want mine again.pretty said when you work So hard to be able to get them payed for,then a So called friend who was perviding home health work and the one thing that could be done to break me, was Done and God only knows Ive tried before this but being disabled and on fixed income theres always something else that can not wait & time just gets away but Im just not very positive or happy to even smile ànymore . I cant even look at peoples in the face or want!! And eating is another thing it just really sucks the big one.to have to have all perfectly fine teeth pulled out sucked but had to have all because of having No bone structure to hold my teeth from becoming lose and hurting. So Im coming back Drs I sure hope all my feelings and hopefullyness are still correct cause I really need my teeth to feel like a pretty person and woman again inside and out. Very poor customer service... Only the first visit went well, after that it was downhill. The second appointment I waited more than an hour to get in the room and today I had an appointment booked from 3 weeks ago and I took off time from work to go there and I received a voice message 2 hours before the appointment that the doctor has left and your appointment has been cancelled. When I called, Matthew who was the person that left the message picked up the phone and answered in a very unfriendly voice that We do not have a dentist so we can not see you... No apology nothing... Im done with this place. If you want good customer service and thorough examination do yourself a favor and find another practice.

I had to wait almost an hour to be seen by anyone, the x-ray tech was aggressive and cut my mouth multiple times with the x-ray tool rather than using a smaller piece, and I didnt even get a cleaning on my first visit. I was there for 2 hours and I feel it was a total waste of time.

Great if you have an emergency, but dont go there for anything like major extractions or dentures. The dentist I worked with lied to me multiple times, then tried to make me think that I was wrong about what he had said to me. They didnt send me home with anything like immediates or temporary dentures. They screwed up the scheduling and I didnt find out about it until I was there and ready to be put under anesthesia for my procedures that they werent going to do all the work that day, and that I would have to come back and be sedated AGAIN. Cannot recommend this place at all. If youre looking for financing options, there are lots of other places out there that will give you better care with financing. Avoid this place at all costs. Also, the oral surgeon there talked to my husband instead of me, and just sort of completely ignored me like I wasnt even there. So, yah. Not such a great place to go for care if you have major work to be done. Save yourself some dental trauma and go somewhere else.

Although the staff on the medical side was awesome, I cant say the same about the office clerks who couldnt find me in the system and declared I didnt have dental insurance, since they didnt look past their first computer screen. They didnt even call the insurer, which I did once home, and the insurer confirmed I was in their system under my husbands policy. By the way, my husband overpaid about $200 in December 2020, and in March 2021, he hasnt been credited/reimbursed. So, after asking them repeatedly to check about my insurance directly by calling the insurer, which they refused to do, claiming they had their own rep whose purpose was just to do that: verify peoples insurance and that they didnt need to call directly the insurance carrier; Then they told me they couldnt do any work on me (which was just a cleaning) since I didnt have insurance. I went home with a tooth that they chipped during the preliminary evaluation and after having wasted 1h there. Needless to say, this was my first time there, but also my last time there too. They would have to be the last place on Earth to be open so I would eventually consider going back. I am going to a small town local dentist now, who didnt have any problem finding my insurance credentials with the same information I gave Aspen. Never again!!!

I had an appointment for 2:15. I was there at 2:00. At 3:15 I went and asked them how much longer they were going to be as my appointment was at 2:15. They said they were sorry they were having a staffing issue. I again had to wait another ten minutes before I would be seen. At each process of my visit I was kept waiting an unreasonably long period of time. I was ready to walk out and then was finally seen by the dentist. I was there until 5:00. I realize that things happen but I should have been made aware from the very beginning of my appointment. I am not happy with my visit at all.

Always makes sure you are prepared to know information about how to clean your mouth or the details of bacteria build up. But either way this is my favorite dentist and will never go anywhere else. Im so happy that I chose Aspen Dental in Williston, VT for my dental work. I was so impressed by how nice everyone was, from greeting me at the door, through my xrays with Nina the dental assistant. With Lisa Barnes, the amazing Hygienist, who took time to explain everything that she was going to do, and for what I needed to do at home. She made the experience great! Dr. Acone, who took his time and explained what would need to be done near term, and long term with my teeth and gums so that my teeth can be helped. I look forward to my next appointment, and working with this great team!

If you want to over spend at a private dental clinic and get lack luster customer service, and leave feeling squeezed out of every nickle that is your prerogative. However, if you want attentive, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and accessible care then you should book an appointment with this Aspen Dental facility. They do not hide anything from you, they are very kind and not judgmental or patronizing. You can tell their staff is very well educated and passionate about what they are doing. They dont pressure you in to procedures or treatments they really put your health and comfort first.Additionally, in the age of Covid-19 they have made the investments to genuinely keep you safe and they arent cutting corners like many franchises are. I dont have any connection to them other than being a new client that has been very satisfied with the care that I have received from them and I think more people should consider using this dental facility for dental health care provider.

WARNING: DONT GO HERE! I walked out in the middle of an appointment and am sure I saved myself. Unprofessional staff chat between themselves like the patient isnt even there. Made to pay for a filling up front despite having insurance. The dentist gave me the most painful novacaine shots Ive ever had... and after 20 minutes I wasnt even numb... I dont think she injected the right spot. I have one specific tooth that has been bothering me and I thought had been diagnosed at my previous visit and xrays, and was the purpose of my visit today, but the different dentist today says nothing wrong with it and shes only going to work on a completely different tooth. There was a woman screaming in the next cubicle over from me... there is no privacy between patients here at all. The procedure cubicle seemed dirty and the dentist kept bouncing between me and other patients and I did not see any glove changing or hand-washing between patients. While working on the screaming woman, the dentist popped her head back in my cubicle to say shed be back soon. Everything felt so unprofessional. Ive never had such a bad vibe from a medical office before... I put my COVID mask back on and got the hell out of there as fast as I could! Hopefully they refund me and my insurance for the procedure that was never performed. Also, as other reviewers mentioned they are constantly trying to sell you stuff here: $150 electric toothbrush, $40 tube of toothpaste, $30 bottle of mouthwash. Its all a scam.

I had to pay upfront because they couldn’t verify my insurance. Then the office couldn’t figure out how to send my claim in to the correct insurance company. I ended up sending the claim in myself. Now I can’t get them to refund me. I spoke to the office manager 2 weeks ago. She said I was a priority and she would call me. I have not heard from her or received a refund.I would not recommend going there. If they over paid me, I wonder how many other people the over paid.

Firstly I had no issues with any of the staff at this office.My issues are with the predatory nature of the practice by trying to sell products and services that are not needed or deemed medically necessary.Examples:1) Getting billed for an electric toothbrush without anyone ever talking to you about it.2) Charges were billed up front for next appointment even with dental insurance.3) Never actually seeing a Dental Hygienist but being told you need an advanced cleaning even after the doctor tells you that everything looks great. (I heard the same spiel being said to multiple other patients as well.)4) Management was pushy when trying to cancel next appointments but did eventually provide a refund for services billed in advance.Lastly, Im still waiting nearly a month after signing the release to get a copy of my medical records.I had hoped by going to Aspen Dental that I would be getting my family started in a nationwide dental group but will sadly never return to this office location.

Everyone I came in contact with was so nice. I have very high anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist but lisa and sarah made me feel very comfortable. However the way the payments are expected is crazy. I need work done but its so expensive WITH my insurance. They want you to pay before the next appt and I just cant afford that. My insurance is in network as well. Frustrating!

I was very pleasantly surprised by Aspen Dental. I went in yesterday (January 14th) for my cleaning and was brought back within 5 minutes of my appointment time, my hygienist was Lisa and she was amazing! She told me how I could improve my brushing routine (which I have been told countless times before- floss, brush for X amount of time, etc.) but she made sure she took extra time and care to explain why I should be doing it along with what she does personally to make it easier; but as something realistic that I could work into my own personal schedule and routine. I appreciated the atmosphere of hospitality, everyone I encountered was extremely polite, helpful, and patient. I really like Aspen Dental and I would definitely recommend them!

I found that Aspen Dental is great. They make you feel comfortable and at ease. The only thing that so didn’t care for is having to drive an hour 2 days in a row god impressions and a wax fitting. I feel the wax fitting could of been fine the same day the impression was done. Thursday I will be traveling done for the extraction of4 teeth. Then I have to come back in on Friday for a check.

Absolutely loved the woman who did my cleaning! Lisa was very thorough and attentive to all my areas in need of some TLC on the other hand made me feel good about the self care i was doing. Every other dental facility i have gone to gave me no answers as to what could be done and made me feel like they were to far gone. Now i have an all new outlook on my smile. I would also like to say upon checkout there was some confusion as to what my bill was, when they itemized everything for me and explained i was happy. I had brought the wrong form of payment and had cash and another card, they worked with me so that it was all taken care of before i left, Also helped me out for the next visit. I am ecstatic that i am able to working with this office!

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Lisa was my hygienist, Ive never learned more about oral care in a single visit. She was honest and straightforward with her recommendations and made sure to explain the why behind different methods of care. Process is great! They did an initial exam then set me up with a dental repair schedule and payment structure that is easy to understand and afford! I started out loving it....BUT over the course of my last 2 appointments they have called me to reschedule 4 times! I already have to take time off work to make it and I cant keep playing their games because they came keep staff. If they could keep their appointments then maybe they would be nice. Unfortunately I decided to not reschedule this time and find a new Dentist...

Went to Aspen Dental for a consultation because I needed a new crown. My main reason was in the hope of saving money because I had seen great discounts advertised for crowns which I found out werent available in VT and only for certain crowns. During my first visit, I met with the owner (dentist) who was nice and told me I did need a new crown and that there was some decay under it and that I should get it done asap. Second visit, a different dentist, new dentist who was also nice did the crown preparation, but never informed me that there were any issues. Third visit, another dentist tells me that he cant finish the crown, that the tooth needs to be pulled or I need to get bone grafting. Previous dentist did not tell me that. Why would I have paid for a crown preparation to be told during third visit that procedure cant be fished and that I have to get my tooth pulled? I decided to get the tooth pulled since I cant afford to go see a periodontist. Which I had made very clear to the owner during my initial consultation. He pulls my tooth and breaks my perfectly good crown besides it. Doesnt even apologize and tells me that theres a cavity under it anyway so I would have needed to get it replaced anyway. I was very upset and I decided to get a second opinion to be told that there is no cavity under the tooth. Paid for a crown preparation for nothing, lost a tooth, left with a broken crown. Ended up going to a different dentist and had to get a new crown made for $1500. No savings and traumatizing experience. Plus each visits, I had to wait between 30 min to 45 minutes before getting seen. Even called me at work to ask me to come in early for one of my appointments and still kept me waiting. Horrible experience and now I cant eat the same way that I used to eat since I have lost that tooth.

Very pleased with Aspen Dental. They were able to get me in right away for my tooth pain. Everyone from reception, to checking out were very friendly and genuinely caring. I went in with very damaged upper teeth, and was told my worst fear - they all need to come out and be replaced. the staff handled me with tender care, and I feel like they are genuinely interested in helping people feel better about themselves. I have also checked around, and the procedure package is very affordable and I will update this after my procedure March 18, 2019.

I had never been to an Aspen Dental before and I had this preconceived notion that it was going to be like a drive thru dental store. My first visit to Aspen Dental. Staff were very professional and thorough . A full medical history was taken, including any drugs taking. The first visit includes any issues that the patient or dentist determined that needs assessment. From there Aspen Dental will give you a treatment plan including costs associated with this plan.It gives the patient what the final costs, so decisions can be made.

Im giving two stars because I had a great experience actually having my teeth cleaned (I loved my hygienist!!), but had a very bad experience with how much I was told my visit would cost me - after the fact.I was initially (before cleaning) told that the visit would be around $100, which I could afford. At that visit, I was told that I needed a filling, which I was conveniently scheduled for the next day. I then paid for the cleaning and sixty percent of the filling cost because they asked for the down payment to make an appointment. The next day when I came back in to get my tooth filled, I was told they made a mistake and that my cleaning actually cost $220, so I still owed them a big chunk of money. This is a big difference!! I then asked whether I really needed to get the tooth filled because this was going way over what I could afford for my teeth right now. The woman at the front desk went back to talk to the dentist, who then said no, and explained that I could likely avoid getting it filled for a good long while by regularly brushing. I had been made to think that this would be an essential filling that I needed to get taken care of immediately. This took a good chunk out of my day, and Im upset that I wasnt made aware of how much the cleaning would cost me ahead of time. I would have gotten my teeth cleaned elsewhere if I knew it was going to cost me more than twice what I was initially told.Additionally - I found that part of the extra charges were for things that were optional (fluoride - $44!) but I was not asked whether or not I wanted them, or told that they would cost me more.

While the dentist and his assistant were great, I really was turned off by the process of making an additional appointment. When I went to set it up, I was told it would cost me 200 dollars for a deposit which they would then apply to my services. I have been to numerous doctors and dentists in my life and I have NEVER had to pay for services ahead of time. Oh and I have dental insurance. They also didn’t have any cleanings available for over three months!!!! I get the office is busy but that is ludicrous.

Not a pleasant experience for me unfortunately. Previous I had heard good things about Aspen but I was not impressed. I went in knowing that I needed some work done, I had asked for a specific doctor.. Went for my consult and it was not with the doctor I had requested. This doctor was pleasant and informative. When I went in for the procedure it was with, again, a completely different doctor. He told me I would possibly need a root canal, great... So we pressed on. He put in a temporary filling and I came back a couple days later to get more temporary fillings. At this point im not able to eat, Im in pain all day... but these werent the symptoms I was told I would be having.. this was a lingering pain, I was told I would have sensitivity to hot and cold pain. I called for an urgent appointment to get in as soon as possible. When I went in I saw one the two doctors that were working with me.. I know that I have a high pain tolerance... Before I came to them I was in no pain at all... He proceeded to tell me that I was Just a delicate Flower. I was pretty upset at this.. since this is the 4th time in 2 weeks that Ive had to go there. I later found a different dentist and called to have them send my records.. I explained to Aspen that I was unhappy at the fact that I was swapping between 2 doctors.. the receptionist (Who has always seemed very cold and hates working customer service) told me that the doctor who did the procedure that may lead to a root canal, is an extraction doctor. Why was this not said to me originally? Why is an extraction specialist filling cavities? I was bewildered. I had my records sent elsewhere and I couldnt be happier.

Do not go here or to any other Aspen Dental. My husband had to have all of his top teeth pulled and had a top denture made after he healed and it never fit right. It chokes himwhen he tries to eat. It was not fitted properly and therefore does not make the proper seal to the top of his mouth to keep the player in securely. He went back several times to ask them to fix it and they never did. He constantly just got put off and was fed nothing but excuses and now he has a huge bill effecting his credit that we shouldnt have to pay because of how poorly this was handled. Also, he is stuck with no top teeth and he works in customer service. While he still does his job efficiently and he does it well and develops great relationships with clients he deserves to have a beautiful smile to go with his wonderful, charming, and loving personality. What are you going to do to fix this Aspen? Probably nothing.

The wait time was none. I checked in, and less than 5 minutes they were ready to see me. The staff is very nice, everyone welcomes you with a smile. Dr. Acone is extremely polite and professional. His abundant knowledge shows when he recommends a treatment plan. As a new patient, I am happy I chose Aspen Dental.

I went to aspen dental in Williston and I have never been happier. Everyone I have met have been so wonderful to me and so nice!! I actually enjoy going to the dentist they are just wonderful!!!

After spending 45 minutes on the phone w/ the central scheduling & connecting to a local office, I had a good experience. From the receptionist to the X-ray girl ( who was very kind & gentle when I said how much pain I was in) The doctor was good in explaining the findings & shared her concern for the need of a consultation to confirm her findings. I appreciated that very much.But now that Ive had the consultation, Im having a very difficult time getting back into see the dentist for the extraction. It seems none of the doctors have openings. I have a multi fractured tooth that cannot be saved. The receptionist said yesterday, we could see you, have the doctors evaluate & prescribe you more medication until you can get in to have it pulled. It seems like some urgent appointments need to be in the schedule.Its been 11 days since this began. I need the tooth out, not more medication to buy some time. Ive explained how much pain, nausea, headaches, inability to eat & loss of sleep Ive endured these last 11 days, but people arent understanding. Ive never waited so long for a dental appointment w/ so much pain.

Overall, I didnt feel like my time was utilized very well at this appointment (and at the appointment I had last week for my fillings, where I again was sat in the waiting room to wait until a financial specialist could see me), and I felt pressured into some major decisions about my oral health. As a patient, I should NEVER feel pressured to make ANY decision without first getting all the information I need to make an informed decision, and all of the medical and administrative staff at Aspen should be supporting patients ability to make informed decisions.Other than the individual who helped me set up my financial plan, I believe a lot of these issues can be attributed to how Aspen treats patients like a number, rather than an individual. This is a side-effect of having a chain providing medical services- while Im grateful that there are providers that are more accessible because they belong to a larger chain, I feel the patient respect and overall treatment are sorely lacking.Once I have completed all of the services that I have taken out a loan for, I will be searching for a new dental provider to continue my care. Im sad that I dont think Aspen is the right fit for me, because it is conveniently located to my current workplace, and I hate having to switch providers constantly because of flaws in our healthcare and insurance systems.
