I am an employee here and I changed positions. I was oriented to the position well also the management ie. previous person in this position, DON, and Administrator have been available for questions. The Administrator helped and watched how I was working and could see that I was having some trouble with organization. He went and made a notebook to organize me. They have been aware and made sure that I am not working my self to death. This is one of the best management teams I have worked with. They genuinely care about staff and residents.

My mom has been there for about 2 and half weeks. She’s is a veteran and she has chronic kidney disease. She was overwhelmed when she got there and crying. She’s never been away from her family. They didn’t welcome her. In Know she’s difficult and I know that deal with People every day. But she cries and thinks they’re mean to her. In wish they were more compassionate. No one follows up with you about care

My Grandmother was away in rehab for 2 months today she was discharged and out of the 11 outfits she had they sent her back home with 2 shirts. Unacceptable and they do not answer the phone when you call you are always placed on voicemail. I would not recommend anyone to send their loved one here. Unorganized, unbalanced, no respect what so ever.

Life care is a good facility. They have a good therapy program. The aides and nurses are very kind. They do a good job taking care of the patients that live there.

Wonderful facility. The care is like none other. The therapy is A+++. If you are looking for a skilled nursing facility you wont find one better than Life Care Center of Wichita!

My granny came here for therapy. They have the largest therapy room I have ever seen, they do some really fun activities and the staff was always really pleasant and happy to help when we asked for anything. Thanks for taking such great care of my granny!

I have lived here for a little while now and I wouldnt choose any other facility. The staff is so nice and really cares about me and the other patients here. The therapy staff has gotten me back on my feet and they are as sweet as can be. I just love it here and I would tell anyone this is the place to bring your loved one for whatever they need.

Wonderful Facility with excellent therapy services. If you or someone you know is in need of inpatient or outpatient therapy services Lifecare of Wichita is the place to go. The therapist are leaps and bounds above any other I have worked with. The nursing care is top notch.

I loved the art and crochet classes that activities offered. The rehab gym has excellent equipment and a wonderful staff. Maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping always go above and beyond their duties. The office staff is always polite, happy to help, and willing to explain anything that is asked. Nursing, for the most part, is good, but some days they are expected to do more than what is possible. I would definitely recommend friends or family to stay here at Life Care of Wichita!

We have had several stays at the Lifecare in Wichita and it has always been great. We have been to the brand new care home and they may look pretty but they cant do anything compared to Lifecare. We know all the staff and it feels nice to go some place where people know you. Lifecare just feels like home.

Love this place! Staff are very helpful and friendly. They take wonderful care of my mom. Would recommend to anyone whose looking for placement for their love ones.

Life Care is a great facility. The therapy department is great and the nursing staff do a good job.

My dear friend came to this facility for rehab and had the most wonderful stay. She said the staff was attentive and friendly and the therapy was top notch. When I visited her, the facility was clean and everyone was so friendly. There was a smile on everyones face and that makes a difference, I think.

I came to Lifecare of Wichita for therapy after my knee surgery. I could not say enough good things. I give the staff 10 out of 10 stars; they are caring, loving and experts at what they do. I wanted to come for therapy because I needed to get back to moving and grooving. I also do an exercise group with the residents in the facility several times a week, paying it forward.

I went to Life Care after knee replacement surgery. I had some other health issues and was a little disOriented. They were very kind and patient with me, Which I very much appreciated. The physical therapist were great also. Thanks for the excellent care.

My grandmother has received great care since moving to this facility. Love the staff and management who does a great job addressing any concerns we are having :)

My Mother-in-law came to Life Care Center of Andover just recently from the hospital. The staff has been amazing to her. She has told me Thank you many times to me for picking this place out for her. She has told me the Staff is very friendly and very helpful with her. She has also told me the food is very good and always comes to her hot. When my husband and I first stepped inside ... the staff greeted us and helped us find my mother-in-law’s room. I have been there several times, for a meeting, doing paperwork and helping me with all of the process to help and decide what is best for her.All of the staff has been very nice and helpful.The two staff members who have helped me so much walk through the process, their names are Ashleigh the business office manger and Jenni who I believe works in the admissions area both are awesome.Thank you so much Life Care Center of Andover for all what you do for your residents and their families. I would definitely recommend this facility.Sandy

Lifecare is a wonderful facility to go to for Rehab. We had a brief stay in the brand new facility and had an awful experience there. I would caution people that just because a place is brand new does NOT mean that the care they provide is better. At Lifecare, the care was wonderful and the therapy was amazing. I am so glad we chose this place for the care we needed. I will tell everyone to come here for rehab; there is no better place in Wichita.

You cant get much more dedication than these people. They were there for my uncle from day 1 until he got back home. Truly great care and compassion. Their administrator was there to meet with me specially when we had issues with our insurance company to get things sorted out.

My papa was here and the care was great. The attention that the younger social worker gave my grandpa was exquisite. She was kind as well as social. Explained everything great and was great at talking through his problems.

Staff is very good to me. I am very happy here.

My grandmother was there for 7mos both on the rehab and skilled side, and our experience was way different. She would sit in the dark cuz they didnt come turn on her lights, she never had something cold to drink and we even had a fridge in her room full of stuff, she wasnt changed in a timely manner and she had a bed sore that was healing but when we moved her last week we found out was a stage 4 all the way down to the bone. So be careful, be there often and pay attention !

My grandma was at Life Care in the Special Care Unit. The direct care staff; nurses & CNAs were very good to her, & I love them all for that. She had difficult behaviors, visual & auditory hallucinations. The APRNs were very patient, compassionate, & would see grandma when necessary. Therapist were awesome with her. I wouldnt of wanted her at any other place. Highly recommended. Thank you Life Care Staff!

They dont check on you at all. The lady in the next bed sat in a chair for over 3 hrs. Nobody check on her or feed her lunch. Only thing they said to her was dont try to get up by yourself. I had to go have find someone to get my family lunch at 1 PM. Breakfast was 45 min late and cold. I feel sorry for the lady in a hard chair trying to sleep with no covers or pants on. Just a wadded up depends on. I put covers on her when I left, so she wouldnt be so exposed just sitting there by the door. 3 and a half hrs,and nobody did anything for her.

We put my mother-in-law in life care special care unit after she was released from the hospital. She was a very difficult pt., the nurses and CNAs were all caring and understanding. She loved one of the nurses barbara she would do anything Barbara asked her to do. And she really liked Jackson, he got all the bad people out of the attic. Tks so much for the great care Life Care Center

Our first stay in November 2016 was good. Well I should say if the patient can talk, and is mobile they can fight or fend for themself. If they are in the bed and need help find another home. Our last experience with LifeCare was horrible. My dad had scabs in his head. Was cut 3 times while shaving him. Wasnt cleaned properly. Only 1 aide really took good care of my dad. The social worker lied to my face. My dad was only showered a couple times the approximately 3 months he was there. I was hurted, disappointed how they treated my dad. The only good thing they didnt let his pressure wound get infected. My prayer to God is that management would treat patients, employees & families with dignity and respect.

The nurses and staff treated me with respect and helped me walk again.

If I could give no stars I would. My grandpa was here for a week, and the care that he received was horrible. I went to visit him on a Sunday, and he had not had a bath. No one shaved his face. So I cleaned him up myself after waiting an hour for supplies. My grandma went up there several times, and he would complain that he hadnt had breakfast or lunch. On another day of visitation my grandma went to his room. His door was closed so she figured they were repositioning him or changing him. Nope, he was sitting in his wheelchair chair. In the dark saying help me help me. Once again he complained that he did not eat breakfast, and he was hungry. He was also in the same clothes for three days. This place needs to be reported! Ther staff is horrible, and does not take care of their patients.
