There aren’t enough compliments to give to this amazing mother/daughter duo who have fulfilled their God given calling, to assist with bringing life into the world. I have had all 3 of my children with FVM, and each experience reminds me of how grateful I am to have them as part of my team. They equip me with amazing resources, enable me to make well informed decisions, and empower me to lean into the beautiful process of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.Not only are they fabulous at what they do, they are godly, wise, kind women, who hold a very special place in my heart.

As shown by my rating, my experience with Fruitful Vine Midwives was amazing. They were extremely accommodating of my situation: I had to change care providers because of a move when I was 30+ weeks. After one visit with the midwives, I felt more connected with them then I did with the doctor I had been with up to that point. I appreciated their concern for the little details throughout pregnancy, plus their willingness and patience with my many questions. My experience in labor was phenomenal. I felt like the whole team was there to support me and help me along the way, but more than because it was their job. I felt like everyone there genuinely cared about me. The facility is comfortable and inviting from the front door clear through to the birthing suite. Speaking of which, the suite feels like absolute luxury. I couldnt have found a better place for prenatal care and for my child to be born. I hope to return with any future pregnancies.

Ive had 2 home births with Fruitful Vine Midwives. I felt so cared for and important both times. I was empowered to make my own wise decisions about my births based on evidence. I was treated like a unique individual, a valuable person, and a friend. I love how healthful eating, exercise, and natural remedies are emphasized. It was a holistic way to approach childbirth, because moms are unique persons, not just patients, and moms carry whole new human beings that are unique and priceless.

Brandi and Kathy are the dream team! They are knowledgeable and caring, compassionate and supportive. I asked so many questions, especially throughout my first pregnancy, and they were patient in answering all of them.Kathy has a wealth of experience. She was the director of a midwifery school for several years and is skilled at handling any issues that arise during labor. My first and third were challenging labors, and I fully trusted Kathy to help me through (she did!).Brandi is incredibly sweet and patient. I always feel heard and respected when I am with her. I am thankful for her dedication to knowledge and skill; as well as, her commitment to sharing love and support, while also demonstrating respect throughout pregnancy and labor.There are many great midwives in the Wichita area, but my personal experience always compels me to recommend Brandi and Kathy first. If I could give them 100 stars, I would!

I have used Fruitful Vine Midwives for the births of both my children. For the first, I used their birthing location. For the second, they came to me for a home delivery. My husband and family members felt totally at ease because of their high level of skill and experience and I love that they treat each mom and each birth as if they are a total honor. They still have the sense of joy and awe in what they do even after many years of practice. We are blessed to have such a great option in the Wichita area for midwifery care! If I ever have another child I will definitely go back to Kathy and Brandi again.

Kathy and Brandi are amazing midwives - so caring, competent and thorough! I am having my fourth baby with their clinic in May. I could not be more pleased with the knowledgeable prenatal care I have received, as well as the experiences of my three home births to date. They have earned my trust by their listening ears, wise guidance, detailed explanations, and their confidence in the ability of a healthy body to give birth. (They are also risk-averse and will recommend a hospital delivery or transfer if they anticipate any problems.) I appreciate all of the preventative measures they recommend to walk you through a healthy pregnancy. And I just love them as people!

Kathy and Brandi have been the most amazing midwives that I could have ever asked for! They are very educated in all things pregnancy and birth. They truly care for each pregnant momma and they take time to answer any questions and concerns. And at the birth, they are both so gentle and calm and really make you feel at ease. I would highly recommend them to any momma who is wanting to give birth at home or at a birth suite!

Fruitful vine midwives have been such a gift to our family. They came highly recommended by a sister-in-law as well as a high school friend. Their love and care throughout the pregnancy, labor and delivery, as well as postpartum was tremendous. They listened, never judged, and helped me to see how strong and capable I was to do this, something I didnt receive at the hospital with my first two births. They treated my husband as a partner instead of ignoring him like they did at the hospital with my first two. We were all a team and it was beautiful!

I had a wonderful birthing experience here! My baby girl came into the world in a calm, serene and intimate setting, which is exactly what I wanted. Kathy and Brandi were very attentive, professional and caring during the birthing process. They were so cooperative as I used my Hypnobirthing techniques I had studied. I cannot imagine a more perfect birth! My baby girl is now 4 months old and is the calmest, happiest baby. I believe this has so much to do with how she was brought into the world. Forever grateful to both of my midwives and I am forever a midwife fan.

We have used Fruitful Vine for four of our childrens births at home. Their care, education and skills were such a blessing in listening to our desires and teaching us how to achieve those goals. Now I have been able to be there when they have delivered 4 of my grandchildren. Such a tremendous blessing to our lives.

The midwives at Fruitful Vine are seriously AMAZING. With all of the issues with COVID-19, I was hesitant to want to be in a hospital for my birth experience, and I reached out to find an alternative. I felt so taken care of and confident with our choice even before the birth, and especially during the birth. I can’t thank them enough and it’s not every day that your care givers become like family.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I had lots of questions. I had gone somewhere else to start my pregnancy journey and really was not happy with the lack of information and care u received. I went to Kathy on the recommendation of a friend of mine that used her for her two births. I was immediately given good information on how to take care of myself and my baby from Kathy. It was so refreshing!With my other three kids, I felt that there was no other place I would want to be to have my children. They care for every aspect of you and are there for you any time to answer questions and help with any need you have. I love this group and would use them again in a heartbeat!!

I am a L&D nurse and mother of 8. Ive had the delight of having Kathy and Brandy attend my last 3 births. They are professional, warm and caring. I knew my voice would be heard and wishes would be respected during the birth process. I always looked forward to my appointments with them. I always felt so special. Kathy and Brandy took the time to listen to me, give suggestions and support my decisions. As a VBAC mom it was even more important for me to have providers who trusted my body and my ability to birth. Kathy and Brandy never once doubted me. Their skills are top notch and they are well respected in the birth community. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have birthed 5 babies with the assistance of their services and would recommend to any expectant mom. Down to earth, Holistic, The way nature intended are just some of the ways I would describe my experience with them. Oh my goodness...where do I even start?!First of all I have to say both if these women are just wonderful! Over the years of going to them for my prenatal care they have gone from simply care givers to close friends. The 2 of them are such a precious and caring team, who, after so many years alongside one another, work perfectly together. I have never once not felt confident in their abilities as midwives.14 years ago I contacted Kathy Brace about prenatal care for my 5th pregnancy, after a very hard miscarriage and Kathy was amazing. I was excited, but a little nervous at first about a home birth having had my first 3 at hospitals, but Kathy very quickly put my kind at ease with an abundance of information and answers to all mine and my husbands questions. I ended up with a wonderful birth experience, and decided from then on that Kathy would be my choice from then on! (Brandi began attending my births 2 kids later but is just as great as her mom)Kathy and Brands main concern for their girls is first and foremost mammas and babys safety, and their health all through pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. There has never been a question or concern they have not been willing to answer or address in a very honest and infomative way.I have since gone on to have 6 more children with Kathy, and Brandi has been present for 4 of those. Each pregnancy and birth has had its own unique circumstances, from stalled labors and awkward positioned babies, to my last delivery in October 2019 being a c-section due to baby wanting to stay breech and Kathy making the very wise and knowledgeable decision to send me to her back up Doctor, who I might add I was also very happy with!So I guess if youre wondering if I recommend Kathy and Brandi, then ABSOLUTELY! You will be meeting 2 terrific women who care very much about their clients, and you will not be disappointed!

I had the most wonderful experience with FVM!! They took such good care of me throughout my pregnancy/childbirth. Diligently answering any questions I had with evidence-based information, caring about me and my mental wellbeing walking through this rainbow pregnancy, being available to check on me if I had a scare, and wanting the absolute best for me, my husband, and our baby. It was important for me to find Christian care providers who would encourage a natural childbirth. I found that in FVM!They helped me SO much during the birth of our first earthside baby. It was hard at times of course, but they expertly encouraged and coached me through safely bringing our baby into the world. We used the birthing suite in Kathys home, and it was the perfect place to give birth. Clean, peaceful, and had several tools available to assist giving birth.Should I have another baby, I will absolutely utilize FVM again! It was all around an amazing, God blessed experience my husband and I will fondly remember always.Fun bonus fact: my mom had used Kathy+Brandi at her home births previously with my younger siblings. Very cool to be able to be taken care of by the same team who took care of my family!!

I have known this midwife team for years. They attended all 6 of my childrens births. Brandi and Kathy are both very knowledgeable, using evidence-based birth practices. They continually research for new and better practices, and are careful to use natural methods with little intervention.These ladies are also caring and wise. They make one feel loved and spend time to answer all questions. You never feel rushed during appointments.Births they attend have very good outcomes because they pay careful attention throughout the whole pregnancy to the health and well-being of the mother and baby.

Kathy and brandi have been a part of our family for about 13 or 14 years now. Delivering not only my own 3 kids, but 21 out of 26 give or take one or two, of my nieces and nephews.Birthing with them is not only peaceful (as peaceful as birthing can) but its an amazing experience. Theyre there for you every step of the way. At 3 a.m or 6 p.m, making changes as needed, doing whatever they can to make momma comfortable! And praying through it with you. Idk how many times brandi let me hang on her shoulders with my 2nd birth. As I cried and told her I couldnt do it anymore . She encouraged me with scripture and prayer, and told me to pray as well. They give you the information you need to have an empowered and informed birthing experience! If youre on the fence on birthing with them, let this be a push in their direction! Theyre AMAZING! Love them like family!!
