Comfort Care Homes is definitely so much more than just a senior living facility - it is a “FAMILY”, and “HOME” to my dad. Those on staff have become family to our extended family as well. It is not just a job to those who work there, whether it’s the corporate office or the ones caring for my dad - it is a ministry of loving and graciously serving the needs of dad to better his life as much as possible. Since Covid has changed “life” for us in so many ways, Comfort Care has been amazing in still making it as “normal” as possible in caring for dad. Your staff, and that means all, are always so kind, very helpful no matter if I call with questions or just want to see how dad is doing, or wanting to talk with him on the phone and allowing us to visit and see him. Thank you for living out your love of people at this stage of life and caring for dad - you have made us apart of your family - how blessed we are!!

Founders Crest has been a blessing for Don and myself. You took Don in when many care homes would not. Your staff are compassionate care givers. They always welcome my calls and visits and are there to answer my questions and concerns. Don is happy, and feels safe and cared for. Under these unusual times, I am so grateful the care he receives.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to work here, Someone caught covid at one of the homes during the 3rd week of training along with other staff and residents they didn’t want to pay her for being off and she wasn’t paid a full two wks and according to the Health department her kids had to quarantine after she was done and the kids couldn’t return to daycare, so a lady in management kept on calling and texting asking her to bring her kid’s to the office so she can test them herself, so they can go back to daycare and not quarantine because they were short staffed and needed help, well upon her returning to work she wasn’t tested when she came back and ended up getting sick once again so they fired her. The Drs stated that she couldn’t return to work for two days. Well they said they needed consistency, but how is it ones fault if they’re sick🤔

Im currently doing my practicum with ComfortCare Homes so Ive gotten to see into how the company works. They really are the leaders in dementia care and set the bar very high. Everyone is treated like family, which is hard to come by in most companies. The resident care and engagement teams go above and beyond with residents, its truly amazing to see.

My family member moved into the new west side home Nov 10 amidst the Covid-19 confusion. Its been/is a huge adjustment for our family. However, the Comfort Care staff at both ends of the totem pole have been outstanding in doing whatever they can to keep us in contact with our loved one. From zoom calls, to fence visits in nice weather and through the second door glass visits when not, the app, pictures, emails. Theyve taken steps to make sure my family member, who is very physically active for 89, is escorted on walks through the neighborhood when weather permits. Other days, the walking path at the residence is used as desired. Theres always activities planned in the home. Their protection protocols during this Covid-19 outbreak has kept my loved one safe. They also support me through the rough spots, and that is important when your loved one has Alzheimers. The facility is beautiful and well planned, the fees are quite reasonable, the office/homes staff are great. Most important to me is their knowledge and caring.

My mother was in a Comfort Care Home for nearly two years. I found them to be kind, compassionate and always helpful. My mother wasnt the best resident, often grumpy, but the staff over looked her bad days and always used humor and compassion with her. I would do it again in a heart beat.

I worked for Comfort Care from Oct. 2016 - April 2017, & was let go due to my own lack of responsibility at the time. They tried to work with me and gave me many chances. Comfort Care expects nothing but the best from their employees and in turn treat their employees with the utmost respect, understanding and compassion.Considering the fact that they treat their employees like that; you can only imagine how they treat their residents. The residents are treated like family members and each and everyone of them are taken care of like anyone would take care of their loved ones at home. I would without a doubt entrust them with any of my loved ones.

I have a family member who has been with Comfort Care for several years and I have nothing but incredible things to say about the team, from Leadership to everyone I have met on staff, and about the facility. Comfort Care communicates frequently and clearly with family members; this was the case pre-COVID and since COVID started they have done great work in terms of operations and keeping all of us posted on what is happening and why. Comfort Care, my family and I cant say thank you enough!

One of the best companies I ever worked for! I enjoyed working and taking care of all the residents there! I loved that they had different houses that I could do rotations in. I also appreciated the yearly bonus and the paid picnics!! The mission/ vision of this company is one of a kind. Offering care for the dementia population in a home like setting. That is unique and I havent seen this concept anywhere else!

It is a great option when a family member gets to the stage where they need help 24/7. So much better and personal than a nursing home. They took REALLLLY good care of my Gram. She was always clean and dressed and had her hair done. VERY nice house choices

My husband was diagnosed 3 years ago with Dementia and Parkinsons disease I was his sole caregiver for the first 2 years. It was overwhelming. I knew the time would come when I had to face that dreaded decision to place him for total care, But WHERE? Where could I find a place and people that would Love and Care for him as I do. I visited several facilities, nice ones, but none was satisfying. Then I heard of Comfort Care Homes. I Made the call for an appointment, the first call something touched my heart. From the receptionist to the president there is this caring that you hear. Just at the moment you are about to fall to pieces. Well, my husband just finished his first year with Comfort Care Homes. I am thankful to God for directing me to this place. When You cant.... let Comfort Care Homes take charge.

Comfort Care Homes saved my FIL; he had been misdiagnosed and through their medical attention and care were able to get him off his meds and he no longer needed memory care. Doug Stark and his staff truly care about the quality of their residents lives and are huge advocates for finding a cure for Alzheimers.
