I have been a patient for a few years now and have never had an issue until today 08/23/2021. I showed up to my appointment and was asked by the Receptionist if I was self pay, I told her No, that I have Insurance, she then goes to ask if I updated it online because it is too late to update in person because it would take her 30 min to verify, and that i would have to Reschedule if i wanted to use my insurance. i then asked it takes 30 min to verify BCBS on availity? and she responds YES!. I work in the medical and it does NOT take 30 min to verify BCBS, more like 2 min. i then ask if i can update it online on my own and she responds saying VERBATIM yes but i still have to go in and verify.... ITS MY JOB I WOULD HAVE TO DO IT ... exactly its YOUR job, why would you expect a patient to do YOUR job... I literally missed work to be told I have to reschedule because the front desk didnt want to do their job.

Was told that not being able to get an appointment was my problem by the receptionist after calling multiple times over a month period to schedule an appointment for refills on my asthma meds. Very rude and also told me I would not be able to have a refill for it done at the immediate care (which normally would be correct, but not for Albuterol {which I have done before} - can even be refilled online, my insurance wouldnt cover that though).

Waited an hour to see a doctor to review test results before I left. Was told the doctor was just going to see me as I was walking out. No professionalism from this practice at all.

FEELS LIKE THEY DONT CARE. LEGITIMATE CONCERNS ARE DISMISSED WITHOUT CARE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Blood sugar was really high and i was told i needed to leave and call i do not know how this is called immediate care will never use their facilities again

I love holy family medical team and staff. My oldest daughter ob doctor knows Ferris. He wanted her to stay with Ferris to watch her grow. They even been seeing her brother and sister. Since the dr they had wouldnt see them anymore. They always been good to us. Best drs i had ever been to.
