Dr Means & her staff are caring, kind, efficient & knowledgeable. I would recommend Dr Means if you want a doctor that listens, is through & attentive. I have never felt rushed or hurried during an appointment. Every appointment is a pleasant experience!

Met for first time with Dr Means. I have extensive health issues. Dr Means took a thorough history! I was very impressed with her questions and thought process. She strikes me as being extremely knowledgable and kind. Her entire staff is polite and welcoming

Dr. Means is the only Dr I have ever had where I felt more than a just business relationship. She truly cares about people and wants to hear what you think about whatever may be going on with your personal health. And will work with you on what needs you think you may have instead of just the generic heres what I think you should take and be gone. She in my opinion is the best Dr. around I know there is none in Arkansas City anymore like that for sure and hasnt been for about five years or so. I wont ever need to change drs again though as long as Dr. Means practices medicine. Thanks for all you do doc.

I loved being a patient of Dr. Means. I will tell you that she will take her time to listen and give sound advice. Since leaving KS I have struggled to find a Dr. like her, a doctor that will listen, ask questions to get a total view of what could be ailing you then offer more than one option for your physical health. She is a rare gem, the kindest of Drs and she knows her stuff! If you are looking for someone to just throw meds at you without trying to help you then dont come to Dr. Means. If you want good health care from a provider who cares about your overall health and well-being go see Dr Means.

She is the most informed and real Physician which is why we all consider her family. I have seen her help people, not her patients, even outside of work. There is no better Doctor in Wichita.

As someone who has had horrible experiences with Drs, I am RELIEVED I finally found one who is so intelligent and caring. While most Drs brushed off what I tell them (or nod and move on), Dr Means went down the list of every issue I circled and addressed each one. Each discussion was knowledgeable and left me feeling that she really knows her stuff! Regular issues with my joints, recommendations for my keto diet, lady issues that even my gyno didnt address, my mental wellbeing. She thoroughly dedicated time to each issue, didnt rush out at all and gave me resources for all. Im very happy I decided to go to her and will definitely continue to see her.

In my life I have had the often dreadful experience of being a patient; both of the 1st year IM residents circulating within the occasional family practice outfit/ER dept., and the Ivy League Memorial hospitals various departmental head(s). Make no mistake I have tested thoroughly the limits of knowledge and practitioner skills sets with respect to my long/short term health care goals and their often specific/tailored field of study. However, I never ever felt quite at home with any doctor. That is to say that I never fully came to be myself while in their care; ungaurded, unjudged/unafraid to one extent or another. With Dr. Means, you (may) immediately feel at ease because it becomes apparent within minutes of meeting her that she well knows and understands the inner workings of the machinery that is the US healthcare system and the many cogs upon which (some of) those who become her paitents may have been figuratively crushed by as her cookie cutter industry counterparts unrelentingly churded the wheel. She is unassuming, kind, patient, non-judgemental and earnestly seeks the best health care for those whom she treats. I have had the privilege of bearing witness to and watching as her practice has grown from a small to thriving business; and the kicker is- she does not advertise. I do not know for certain, but as a patient of hers for the past several years, I honestly see that word of mouth has been the mainstay of how her business has grown. And no one who receives that level of grass roots business can be so easily dismissed. Dr. Means is a well reasearched, highly compassionate, lovingly and sensitive physician; a credit to her profession. So- one patient to another- I whole-heartedly emplore anyone seeking a thorough and substative relationship with their physician, rooted in knowledge and founded upon compassionate engaging dialogue with the aim of curing whatever may be ailing you, to do so and make an appointment with her office strait away!
