Overall all things went very well. I didnt have to wait very long in the reception area. I also appreciate being thru the x-ray area and not having to wait for the Doctor very long. Dr. Walker was precise and told me what was going on with my shoulder and didnt rush to the surgery. We are going to try the cortisone shot first and check back if necessary. Great visit.

Everyone is so kind and considerate. They take such good care of their clients. The physical therapy was great. Its so nice they are on both sides of town. My knee is in great shape.looks great!

I’ve had one previous knee replacement which was 2016, The whole process was nothing less than amazing. The outstanding skill of Dr. Walker, his ethics are professional with compassion for the patient. The hospital staff took concern in my comfort, my needs and above all, handled my knee as if I was the only patient. The food was outstanding right down to the coffee. There was plenty of friendliness and cleanliness. January of 2020 I had another knee replacement it was done robotically, WOW! It was even better with nearly an invisible scar. The staff was very courteous and did not seem hurried. They seemed genuinely interested in my issues, although I am sure they see the same issues over and over again. Dr. Walker was the first ortho doctor out of three that I have seen that actually placed his hands on me to do an examination, instead of relying on his PA to report what they had seen In their exa. He explained my situation very thoroughly and made sure that I understood my alternatives (even though I didn’t want to hear them!). I have a procedure scheduled, even though it had been suggested by another provider months ago (and I just didn’t feel comfortable with them).

I have been delighted with the care I received from Dr. Walker and his staff. My surgical recovery has gone exceedingly well and at just 4 months post op I am 80%+ better than prior to surgery. Thank you Dr. Walker.

My appointment today was good. I found out that I have to have my right knee replaced. Dr. Walker replaced my left knee six years ago and did an excellent job that’s why I have no concerns about him replacing my right knee because I know he’ll do an excellent job. All the staff at Dr. Walker‘s office are very sweet kind and courteous you can tell that they really care about their patients and enjoy their jobs. In addition to experiences with Dr. Walker I have also had surgeries done by Dr Bradley Bruner who perform deviated septum’s on both legs Dr. Bruner is a hoot really liked him.

Dr Walker replaced my right knee 4 years ago and he did a great job. In Sept of 2019 Dr Walker replaced my left knee, and again he did a great job. I dont remember my first experience at the hospital, but this time it was simply awesome. The staff, everyone, the nurses, the aids, the physical therapist, the kitchen staff, even the cleaning crew were helpful, caring and just a great bunch of kids. Everyone did their jobs in a very professional manner.

Received a total knee replacement in December 2018. The care was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Range of motion was great from the beginning and I was so pleased with the speed of my recovery and my results was amazing. Dr. Walker and Bree are wonderful. I would recommend Dr Walker to anyone and will certainly use him if I need any joint work.

Damion Walker hands or Knees down LOL...is the Best Robotic Joint (Knee & Hip) Replacement Surgeon in the area. I interviewed three (3) of the top surgeons for my knee replacement and I was encouraged by five (5) nurses that I was grateful to encounter that he was the Best...and I met four (4) of Walker patients that I was able to witness their recovery and beautiful healing story. With that being said. I told Dr. Walker I want you to give me my life back and you dont have to wine and dine me, I know you have other patients to give them their life back.

Dr Walker is a great doctor. He has treated me for a broken ankle and bursitis in my shoulder. He has a lot of respect for his patients and truly cares about my well being. I highly recommend Dr Walker.

I saw Dr Walker today. When he came into my room he shook my hand, and had a smile on his face. He was very compassionate about my ankle, and he explained everything in detail. He never once acted rude or was rude. He never talked down to me. I was very pleased. I would recommen him to anyone, and I will. From the previous posts about him I was kinda leery about seeing him. But Im so glad I did. I wasnt in the room with the previous people, but I can say without a doubt this is not the same Dr they described. He is a very good Dr.

Dr Walker apparently decided by looking at me that I was mentally incapacitated. He repeated the same phrase 5 or 6 times, even though it had nothing to do with my question. He spoke to me like I was a small child. He was condescending and rude, and when I called him on it, he told me he was trying to help me. It wasnt helpful to ignore my questions and tell me things I already knew. A shot in your right knee wont help the swelling in your left leg Really??? I am not an idiot, well, maybe. I guess I am the one that drove an hour to see him.

If you are an extra large person desperate for chronic pain relief/cortisone shots in hips and shoulders this is NOT the doctor to see. Dr Walker (now located @ 10100 E Shannon Woods) doesnt have the equipment (long needles) necessary for the hip procedure and he never even addressed my shoulder issues. I was refused a place to lay down despite the two hours they were behind schedule and uncomfortable seating, they called my prescription into the wrong pharmacy and I am STILL waiting for a partial refund.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. When Dr. Bruner of the same practice said it was time for a partial knee replacement but that he would have to refer me to someone else in the practice to do it, I was not worried. I have always had great care... oh how I was wrong.My mother and grandmother taught me if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all. There is nothing I can say nice about this doctor. I have never been treated like an afterthought like I was by him and his staff. He couldnt even be bothered to see me before surgery let alone anyone of his staff. The hospital had to get the ok to discharge me ( they didnt bother to tell me I was staying overnight) by phone because no one from his practice could be bothered to come in the day after.

I must say I agree with the previous review. I felt like I was a bother to this person. I also was told I had a sprained foot when if he would have even looked at it he would have seen it I had two broken bones. He was not the doctor for me! BEWARE!!!!!!!
