I had a great experience on Saturday for my comprehensive eye exam. I got my eyes checked the second time here and had a great experience as always. The front desk ladies were kind and very transparent about the prices with/without insurance. One of the staff member performed refractive and peripheral vision tests on my eyes before I met with Dr.Laura. They checked my previous prescription glasses and detected the discrepancy in the vision defect numbers from an other local optometrist whom I suspected to have given me a wrong prescription and how my eyes experience constant strain. Dr.Laura explained me the results and performed the eye exam again, along with pressure test. They provided me with my prescription numbers and didn’t force me to take glasses with them. Moreover, they accept patients without insurance and it’s quite affordable too.I appreciate all the staff including Dr.Laura for a quick diagnosis and accurate prescription. I totally recommend it. Thank you!

I would give zero stars if I could. My husband broke his glasses and didnt have a backup pair so went to get fitted for contacts for the first time as well as get replacement eyeglasses.He paid $75 for a training for the contacts where the staff put contacts in his eyes for him and then gave little to no effort to instruct him get them out. They were very rushed to get out for labor day weekend and offered no training to my husband on the proper care/removal/insertion. After having no patience with him, the staff removed them from his eyes, gave him a trial week of contacts, and told him to pick out glasses. After a while, an employee came over and told him it was not safe to wear contacts if he cannot remove them himself and took back his trial week.After picking out glasses and going to pay, they still tried to charge him for the contacts (that he couldnt even wear because its unsafe). After telling them to remove the contacts from his bill, they sent him home with nothing to see - no glasses, no trial contacts. If anything, thats unsafe sending him into Labor Day weekend with no way to see.I have worn contacts for over 12 years now and was very willing to have the patience to work with my husband to make sure he took proper care of them but given that they wouldnt even take the patience during their training or provide him with a prescription for contacts, its discouraged him so much to where he doesnt even want to try again and will have to be blind until his glasses come in. Very unprofessional of the staff and shows how little care they have for their customers.

I had an exam with Dr. Laura and she was the sweetest and really worked with me on all my contact options and prices! I also got some new frames and the girl who helped was so sweet helping me pick the right shape for my face. I’m very happy I decided to go to them as my new eye place. Even the front desk are so helpful and kind. You won’t regret coming here!

I enjoyed everything about my experience at Opticology Eyecare. The appointment was easy to schedule and I was given all the information I needed, plus timely, helpful reminders. The staff were friendly and helpful at every position - reception, technician, physician, customer care, and billing. The technicians and opticologist (I saw Dr. Laura) were skilled, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. They gave me information at every step and addressed each of my questions and concerns. The selection of frames was small but I was able to find a pair of glasses I was happy with. I would happily recommend this clinic.

Paid over $400 out of pocket after insurance for these glasses. Glasses didnt come in on time, was told they had to be redone due to being defective. Two to three more days is what we were told.Now I show up to their door during business hours and they cant help me because they are moving?All glasses are packed upI ask for my prescription so i can get it filled somewhere elseOur computers are unpluggedSurely they can call the people who made the glasses and get the prescription from those people to share with meIt would be a HIPPA violationWish i had gone somewhere else to get these filled, this company seems to have taken our money and now on the run

I highly recommend Opticology! The staff is wonderful and the doctors are both great. They are great for the whole family, including my 4 young children. They have a fun glasses selection and have helped me (unfortunately) on several occasions fix or replace my daughters glasses when she breaks them! Always quick to get us in when needed!

What a great experience! I started with an online appointment process was called back same day and was actually able to be gotten in the very next day. Don’t find that anywhere! Service was great staff was very friendly and Dr. Laura was wonderful! Definitely a great place to go!

When I had a medical scare, his staff got me in to a specialist the same day and he followed up with a call at home the next day.

They are doing curbside check-in as are many clinics during COVID. I checked in at 3:25 for 3:30 appointment. I waited for 40 minutes, and called again, and asked if they had forgotten me. The front desk said she didnt know b/c she didnt check me in. No apology or explanation. I watched a number of other cars come and go in the marked stalls during the 40 minutes. I understand that everyone is working out new systems during COVID, but an apology goes a long way.

Very nice building with a good selection of frames. They also carry colored contacts without prescription on them for you to try before you buy. They use up to date technology which made me happier. They were able to do more tests to get a more comprehensive exam. Staff was extremely kind and knowledgable. They dont rush you at all and help you with any questions you may have. I spent an hour and half there because I was getting glasses and contacts. I also hadnt been to an eye doctor for about 6 years. After I went home, I had more questions that they were able to answer with kindness. I also asked for the frames I got to look them up and show my husband. She gave me the name along with sending me an email with a picture as well. Awesome team :)

Amazing company that will go the extra mile. I was in town for a visit and unfortunately I forgot to pack extra contact lenses. With only the pairs in my eyes, one of the lenses became very irritating and I was certain it was going to rip soon. Opticology Eyecare graciously gave me a sample pair to allow me to make my drive home with full vision. I wish they were my optometrists when I lived in Wichita. Ill definitely recommend my family to go here.

Today was my second yearly appointment with Dr. Greyson, for a full eye exam.The staff was fully compliant with current Covid requirements.Everyone of the staff members I had contact with, was very friendly, professional and upbeat.The exams were very detailed, covering all areas associated with insuring the best in eye care.Special note:They offer two additional tests, above standard covered testing, that provide very critical and preventive information. In fact, one of the test, which my wife had taken too, ended up saving her life. Had she not done the test, she would have died in a matter of days. She was referred to a specialist which perform emergency surgery based on the test finding, and she prevented a massive stroke from clotting, picked up by the eye testing. I highly recommend the additional detailed testing.The doctor (Greyson) was professional, very knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing along the way and made sure I understood all results.Overall, the office staff operates with fully trained, courteous and friendly staffing, which made me feel happier with the visit.

As a teacher you get to eye screenings. No other doctor in town can give you eye care in a more friendly, professional, and timely manner. He is especially great with kids. It was a wonderful experience - Dr. Barger explained everything he was doing and what the purpose of each test was for. He explains and shares things about my eyes that could maybe show another health problem and catch it early.
