These woman should be put up for sainthood - especially Miss Chelsea!! My 2 year old terror had them running every which way, and they never let it bother them. 45 minutes into a 20 minute appointment, as he was screaming his lungs out we finally called it. But these ladies just smiled and invited us back. How they do it, I dont know. Chelsea worked miracles on my sons hair while he refused to sit still. I recommend them to anyone and everyone because I promise, if they can handle my kid... yours is in good hands!! Thank you girls for your calm and positive attitudes in the middle of a situation that could have been so traumatic (for the baby, and for his parents!!)

I absolutely loved this place! We did my 4 year old daughters birthday party here and it was perfect! They did hair and makeup, nails, and even had karaoke for the kids. There were a couple of boys at the party and they got cool boy hair, and made sand jars. Then,y daughter got her hair cut in a kid airplane seat. And since it was her first hair cut, the ladies took a picture and put it with the hair on a memory frame. I Loved IT!

We had the best experience here! Our 4 year old is very shy and Chelsea did so good with her and made her comfortable. She listened to what we were wanting and did just that. Her haircut turned out amazing! We will definitely be returning.

Your staff was so welcoming and friendly. Everything was clean and organized. My daughters were nervous but excited to get their ears pierced, and Bonita was INCREDIBLE. She made them feel calm and explained the procedure clearly but in perfect 6 year old lingo. So impressed!!

Not only did the lady cutting my sons hair try and keep him calm and entertained, but the front desk woman also helped. They did everything they could to keep an 18 month old calm while getting his hair cut. In the end we walked out with a clean looking cut and a happy kiddo.

We came here for my sons first haircut. I was worried he might cry and scream but the staff at Pigtails and Crewcuts did an amazing job with him! He got to sit in an airplane chair and they they constantly kept him distracted. He loved every second and his hair looked great afterwards! We will definitely come back in the future!

We brought our son here for his first haircut and it was a great experience. They have great seats for small children that are cars and planes. Our son enjoyed sitting in his car for the entire duration of his haircut.The staff was very helpful and made this first haircut a great experience. We had the first haircut package that included a locket of hair and a picture of him right after his haircut.We noticed that they also have a separate room for little girls where they can have their nails done while singing karaoke. There was a small party of girls in there on our visit getting theirs done.Highly recommend, especially for a first haircut.

All of the staff are just so wonderful! Miss Jen is so incredibly patient and accommodating to our 3 year old son who absolutely HATES getting his hair cut. We make sure to book with her every time for his consistency and Miss Jen is always warm and welcoming. She remembers what he will and won’t tolerate and gives helpful suggestions to us to make the process quick for him. We know our kiddo will come around to liking it eventually! We love Pigtails and Crewcuts!!

This shop did a WONDERFUL job cutting my 2 year old sons hair. I was able to put him up on my lap and she got it done through all the smacks, cries and wiggles! I definitely reccomend coming for your littles haircuts!

This place is so much fun! My son goes willingly because he knows he can play a video game while he gets his hair cut. And the staff is wonderful with kids (and parents). This last time they even offered some temporary hair color which was a hit! Well worth the extra cost if you want a stress-free experience (and a great haircut)!

My wife and I didnt think we would ever be able to get our 3 year old to sit still and not be afraid of the clippers but Pigtails & Crewcuts pulled off the impossible. Our 3 year old sat still and lost his fear of the clippers. He smiled and laughed through the whole hair cut. I highly recommend this place for all your kids haircuts.

My kids had a blast. They loved the cars and hair styles they got and I loved the price. It didnt cost me an arm and a leg. It was $22 and some change with a $4 tip. They even had a bunch of tvs with kid friendly shows on. There was plenty of room to watch and hover. Both my son and daughter got exactly what they wanted. It was fantastic.

The man who cut my son’s hair was great! I didn’t catch his name. He helped us figure out a great style and taught my son (8) several cool ways to style it. We were all happy with the haircut and Dad has officially been taken off haircut duty...at least for a while! :) I will also add, it was nice to be able to come in with my 3 other young sons and have them all completely entertained so I could focus on the one who was getting the haircut. We will be back!

What a fantastic place for kids to get haircuts! While youre waiting, kids can play video games or with a table train or draw with markers. I liked the choice of an airplane, a firetruck, a police car or a vintage car as seats for little kids haircuts. There are regular salon chairs for bigger kids or adults. The haircut my grandson got was super cute & stylish! He will definitely go again!

I highly recommend Pigtails & Crewcuts to anyone with small children that dont like getting their hair cut. This is the first haircut that my 5 year old got that he did not cry and fight through. Jennifer was very much attentive to what I wanted and how I wanted my children handled. She was very soft spoken with them and patient. I will be returning for the fun atmosphere for the children and polite and friendly customer service for me.

Even in the midst of a pandemic-- the staff delivered such a wonderful experience for the kids. Sidewalk chalk and bubbles while they waited-- and glittery braid after their cut. Great job!

Tried cutting 16 month old sons hair at home, worked once before but this time was an epic failure. This was his first experience with trimmers or anything like that and Sarah was great. Worked so fast so my son did not get impatient, and its a great looking haircut.

Pigtails and Crewcuts was excellent for our 2yr boy! He has had terrible fits the previous times at a different place. I highly recommend this place because the staff is amazing! They have so many different toy chairs to sit in, TVs to watch and a train table to play with while waiting for siblings to play at. We will definitely be back! AMAZING!

Jennifer is freakishly amazing! Our 4 year old HATES her hair cut and is super shy but Jennifer goes at my daughter’s pace, talks to her, distracts her, finds ways to get her to turn her head when needed without forcing her to, her attitude is just upbeat and even if my child is starting to get overwhelmed or silly she takes a beat and lets us fix the situation while keeping a very good attitude, she just stuns me every time and we went and seen her for the 3rd time today. Will definitely be using her services as long as possible. I’m so glad that Pigtails & Crewcuts exists so we can have access to special stylists for our children like this. Makes our life and our child’s life so much less stressful. Thank you.

We chose this place for our daughters first haircut. At first she started to cry (pretty normal for a 1.5 year old!), but the staff did an outstanding job getting her back to smiling and overall enjoy her experience!! They gave her animal crackers (her favorite) and kept blowing bubbles & letting her pop them. She was loving it! Her haircut also looks fantastic! Couldn’t ask for a better first haircut experience.

I mentioned to the hair stylist that my son was terrified of trimmers. She was SO amazing and worked on getting him comfortable with the trimmers before ever touching his hair with them. She also made sure to check with me on length before going too far into cutting my daughters pixie cut. My experience at the East store was definitely worth the further drive! All the staff was super friendly. We didnt have too long of a wait time and cuts were done quickly, yet still look great!

They don’t accept reservations but will take your name down “the day of” and give you a time to arrive but then TURN AWAY PEOPLE THAT WALK IN like their signage and website say walk ins welcome. Don’t bother going unless you’re the lucky ones to get through on the phone. It’s absolutely crazy to me that you’d turn away people actually in your store but take names down for people that might show up on time or at all. Poor choice in my opinion. Oh and then to throw out the excuse that you have multiple staff out sick. Doesn’t business still have to go on? I can understand explaining longer wait times but to turn people away? Lame and I won’t bother to “try” my luck and come back again. I’ll go somewhere that doesn’t lie about walk ins welcome or making reservations.
