I have been here many times to get my hair done, and today was the worst experience. I asked for a cut and style with silk pressed. I looked a mess when I left from there. Its wasnt no silk pressed, my sides that I got cut off was a mess! 80 dollars wasted!

Chervon is a excellent stylist. I normally get the silk press and braids. She listen to what I want even when I’m not sure. I always receive compliments when I’m at work or out shopping “ your stylist does a great job on your hair” Chervon is very passionate about her clients and her work. I highly recommend her if you are in town or looking for a stylist. I will definitely keep coming back to her and to receive her service. It’s definitely hard to find a beautician when you are affiliated with the military and moving all the time. I just hope I don’t have to move for a long time so I can continue to receive the service from Chervon. Did I say she is always on time!!!! 😊Keep it up girl.The shop is always clean and warm welcoming. Every beautician is always sanitizing each station and wash station prior to each client.

No, I would not recommend my stylist Sierra Davis/and or the salon! for these reasons1 when I initially called to set appts I asked for bre- I was told bre wasn’t there anymore but Sierra could do it. Walked in to get my hair done. And my mother noticed the lady bre we were asking for was in fact in the shop and still very much works there. 2 when I got the first hair cut I loved it. Like I really loved it l. So much so. I came back to get the lines permanently cut into the one side of my head. And this woman.. shaved no only both sides of may head but the back as well. And in doing so cut me multiple. (Mind you she was never given permission to whack my hair off)3 when I spoke to her about how unhappy I was with my hair she then told me “not to disrespect her” after she’s cut all my hair off and then had the audacity to leave us in the shop to sit on the phone in her car while I was under a dryer... and then to tell me I could pick my own curls out when I got home. I’m sorry. Was my I paying myself. Mind you she didn’t wash nor condition any of our hair properly. Today was by far the worse experience I have ever had in any beauty salon in all of my years. I am currently waiting to see if it will be addressed. I have yet to hear anything. I would like to believe the owner of omg (316) studio would not be ok with the photos of my before and afters nor would she condone or let me leave hysterically crying unhappy with what was done to my hair. She practically went scissors crazy. Somebody please tell me this bad apple won’t spoil the bunch. For this being my first major big chop I don’t even wanna look at myself and that’s not right!EDIT- after speaking with the owner who in fact agreed her stylist did mess my head up. (Terribly) while also telling me she wasn’t a barber lol!They then in turn say “ well we can’t put the hair back” but I’ll pay to cut the rest off. ( if your stylist was not comfortable with the request, she should have stated that instead of taking clippers to every corner of my head!)😂 never in my life have I ever dealt with something like this. And it’s clear they have no intentions on fixing and or correcting my hair. As women we thrive off our appearance , looking and feeling good about ourselves. I trusted this woman with not only my first “big chop” but I then bring her more business... the people who meant the most to me. She maliciously and intentionally shaved my off. The whole entire time in that shop 2/20 was hell entirely and I have yet to stop crying about what she did to me and my head, And it is not ok. Also after spending the money I did/do on my daughters hair. And using the things sent home with her to care for her hair it too was ruined. (With no regards to correcting it) As well as my mothers. Honestly Wichita’s black owned businesses are putting so many sour taste in many peoples mouths. I can understand why most of them don’t last long. You guys can’t just pick and choose who you provide a1 customer service too. And you sure cannot let it be ok that your stylist is intentionally chopping off peoples hair with ZERO consent. Thank you for contacting me however... Shaving my head bald is not an option for me! This isn’t even a conversation I should have to have because I never asked for may hair to be shaved.

Was extremely rude when I called about braiding services specifically micros so I’m good on taking my patronage some place else. What’s sad the person who cut my hair had so many great things to say about this place but the lady that answered the phone was straight up rude. Smfh

Do not waste your time, horrible experience! Aubrey is a terrible stylist, he has a nasty attitude and cannot do basic hairstyles. I originally wanted a short sewin, but he didnt have time. I made an appointment, why text me asking if I can come earlier? Then get smart about it when I cannot leave my job to come to an earlier appointment so your life is more convenient. Where they do that at? He goes back and forth with another stylist asking what to do???? I walked out without paying and will NEVER go back!

They are the best your hair looks really good for a long time

Last year I got my hair done here, waited 30 minutes to an hour before I was even acknowledged by someone in the building. The man who braided me was too heavy handed and braided too tight and the woman who installed my weave pulled the thread super tight everytime like pulling a dog collar. My eyes were watering. When flat ironed i was burned 3 times and flinched and she never apologized. The back of my hair was so tight and leaving bumps i had to remove it and found my hair broken out in the back and Im still trying to grow it out now. Not to mention i was quoted a higher price while paying than the original quote of 250. I wanted a new weave this year because the hair was so damn pretty but after those memories its a shame Ill have to pass!

Closure wasn’t secured it was crooked and slapped together charged me 120. Head was extremely itchy and RIP to my edges cuz sis ripped them out. Don’t let anyone do your head. Especially not in Kansas.

I got a sew in at this salon on Oct 1st. When I arrived she was not at the salon yet and the front door was locked. I had to wait a couple of minutes before she arrived. I assumed this happened because the salon is not usually opened on Monday. After she arrived she wasnt very friendly and barely said a word to me.The sew in did not look natural at all. I had to take the sew in out recently because the closure was giving me a lot of problems. It kept on sliding back past my hairline. I went to get the closure moved forward and she charged me $25 just for that. I will not continue to be charged $25 every time I need the closure to be moved forward. Also, when I took the sew in out and took out the front two braids. I had breakage along my hairline. The breakage will take a while to recover from. I will never go back to this salon. Im completely disappointed.Sew in: $150Fixing the closure: $25I wasted $175.
