I agree with the previous reviews. If I could give him a ZERO I would. Before my procedure in Dec 2019, I asked for the medical code that covered my surgery so I could get it pre-approved w/Insurance. They did but he did not bill under that code and it was then billed as a dental procedure. He also had the nerve, when I called 5 days ahead to make sure all was on schedule to only mention THEN that I would need to pay him $1300 when I came in. I told him I would give him $500 in good faith and did. He gave me the same BS about hating Cigna and what they pay him as an in-network provider. TOO BAD DR SCHEIVE! Not MY problem. After over a year of working this out, per Cigna he now owes ME money, I have filed a financial complaint w/them against him. I have also called my attorney as he is now threatened me. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. I will be alerting the BBB and the ADA. His name should be Shyster, not Scheive.

He is mean, and rude to his patients and staff. He hates people. His offices are dirty, old and outdated. If you complain he will call you a baby, He doesnt see you for a follow up, he will send his assistant in instead. Hes just mean. A bad person. Look at all his reviews. If you have to go there, see Dr Boyer, hes at least nicer.

Check Dr. Scheive out on Yelp. Bad reviews. Avoid.Avoid Dr. Scheive or it will cost you $$. I was fortunate enough to ask the right questions. I am fully covered by my insurance for 100% expenses, however Dr. Scheive explained that he charges OVER what he is contractually obligated to charge with my insurance company. The point of having insurance is to cover expenses. He is not allowed to inflate his costs. Seeing how many others have negative Yelp posts against this quack makes me extremely grateful I didnt go under his knife!

Mind as well go to the animal doctor rather than him . Veryyyyy dishonest dentist and staff members . I’m willing to call the news to discriminate them . Different charges you see in the statement they give you different Charges they submit to the insurance . Is going to end bad almost in the law suit . I’m hiring an Atorney for the ones who want to be part of it Ken me know . If I could give him a 0 star I will do it in heat beat .

My wife had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Scheive today. She came out of the office screaming. She indicated to me that Dr. Scheive had held her head down while not giving enough novacaine and she was screaming for him to stop. He refused. I went up to the office to confront Dr Glenn Scheive and he called the Bloomgdale Police on me. Im going to picket this place and file a lawsuit against this scum bag.

Very disappointed with office staff and policies. Worked with insurance to get my son in for impacted wisdom tooth was told only had to pay deductible at time of service and the rest would be billed. Went to office and was told to pay for services immediately office policy is they do not bill. How many twenty year olds do you know with 900 in their pocket. Needless to say if this wasnt an emergency we would have walked out immediately. Having to deal with the holier than thou attitude of the receptionist was not how i wanted to spend my time
