Pretty annoying that they were open yet I couldnt make a donation. They do have an excellent selection inside, with stuff youd find a Goodwill but higher quality (and higher price). They had a sale going on, and sign up for their newsletter to get coupons. They staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Its what you would expect. Lots of outdated stuff.I was mostly interested in floor tiles and backsplash tiles theyre not the bargain I was expecting. Mosaic backsplash tiles for $6 each sheet, 6x12inch, instead of a per box price and the selection is just okay. When I ask an employee about the price and said you could probably get new for that her reply was Ya think!? Very loudly and sarcastically. So I didnt pursue it any further. I was hoping I could drive a bargain somewhat.I was also interested in a used washer and dryer and they are $500 to $600. Same for gas ranges. Definitely not the bargain I was looking for. Id rather pay full price or pay a used appliance store and have some sort of warranty. The furniture was beat up and very dated except for a couple of pieces. There was a large linen ottoman I thought was interesting till the price was $500.I was also interested in some light fixtures and they were all basically from the 80s. Nothing interesting.

This ReStore had/has been one of my favorites since I discovered the Habitat ReStore Metro Stores. The stores, where they use to mark the labels on items as to when they came in…I assume their method now is because SO MANY post bad reviews about managers not following company policy in regards to markdown (every x day, week, etc). This, in theory, was a good way to trick us avid “ReStorers”. However, when you go often, you know exactly what’s in the store. So there’s not a need to decipher the new labels of B-XX or C-XX.Really one color matters and that’s “red”. It means it was part of a corporate donation. And they have different policies regarding pricing on these items. At any rate, employees will say that this store is to “serve the community by providing a second, or even “first” life for products to the community at “discounted”. Slightly less than brand new retail before free shipping and (no) tax).Where they fail to understand what’s driving long term Customers to frown upon their new policies is that 1) NOTHING CAN EVER BE CONSIDERED “BRAND NEW” or “NEW”. At best, “New, open box condition”. I say this generally, covering 99% of things. Why? Because when sold by Restore. It voids the manufacture warranty, any recourse other than the large hassle of having to bring a “non working” appliance let’s say back. You have to ask yourself, unless a bulk donation. Why is this here? Most likely either contractor surplus/closet cleaning or broke items which even appearing new, were replaced and the contractor donated the item to ReStore.Sofas are assembled, then put out in the floor, where how many people sit and touch them? Often they were perfect when unboxed, albeit, due to the massive amount of handling and moving and improper assembly. Then buying and moving home. You’re at best getting a 1750$ floor sample with no warranty as is. Which is just shy of the item, new, from the vendor. With a warranty.Even the way vintage and MCM furniture is priced now; leads a Customer away…for good with their new tactic of not showing Customers when the item was put in inventory. So you can’t ask or calculate the appropriate discount for an item because they try to hide when it came in. And instead of layered price tags (well, there’s still some where a cheaper price resides below). They either never lower the price or remove the old tag and put the same price. It seems managers use “Google” as the price guide and that simply is just not a good method of pricing items for this store. If they want their loyal population of Customers back. They don’t use the serial or mfg date of items. Just the model number and or brand. For pricing. And that leads to insanely high prices such as for, let’s say a 10 year old “Dacor” cooktop. It maybe appears cosmetically new, is new open box, is the box of the warranty replacement with the broken one inside. Yet, the price still gets a whopping almost full retail for a new item, with warranty, etc.Managers have “price attachment” to certain items they feel are worth X and refuse to lower prices on things after days, weeks, months. Sometimes years. It’s my belief and economics proves that if employees didn’t waste their time pricing each item and applied a blanket model to things by category / used / new like etc. And followed a price drop schedule. Happy Customers would return and ReStore would be ReStored. Makes me cringe to shop here now.If you want MCM/antiques/random odds and ends-Wheat Ridge. If you want the largest / newest in appliances and corporate donations. Go to Denver / Rio Grande. If you want a mix of MCM/Antique/Generally nothing too “new” but always an interesting mix. Littleton. If you want a smaller quantity of mostly building or commercial or old furniture of things, Aurora. This is my opinion (which seems shared)after being a decade plus ReStore company. Having spent prob 50,000$ at the store in the last five years. I know (use to know) the system. They are no longer the same gems they used to be. Which is incredibly sad.

This has traditionally been a great place to shop. A place to get good deals on home decor and building items. However the prices have reached near retail levels on used or scratch and dent. Additionally the employees are very rude and unfriendly. To top it off they are now closing at 4:30 instead of 6pm and angry at me for showing up at 4:20. What retail shop closes at 4:30? These ReStores provide a great service, keeping usable stuff out of the landfill and raising money for a good organization. I just hope this location can get their stuff together and get some new Managment.

This store has great customer service and incredible prices. I often save about 70% of the retail prices of what I buy. Today was ornate antique brass drawer pulls. These would easily sell for $5 or more a piece at a retail or antique store. ¢50 a piece for me.

Lazy, Lazy, Lazy. I will pick another donation spot.Inside the owners appear to be more interested in carrying cheap new dollar store items and used sofas than carrying a big selection of building materials to choose from.

Excited about the sale event/free tote bag to 1st 100 customers today so showed up at 9am. The guy unlocked the door and turned and walked away with a look of disdain. We shopped but then left empty handed. I learned the sale is next week when I went to the Denver store. My mistake.Your store needs to model the Denver store! They take items you dont, sell far more items you dont have, and all of their staff is friendly every time.

We come in frequently since we bought a home. Cashier is RUDE. ALWAYS. never smiles, never helpful. And the heavy set guy that works in the back is RUDE ALSO. asked if I could read the sign that said employees only... when i asked if he could hand off the cabinet i just purchased, to my hudband..who had just dropped off a sink and was parked at the dock inorder to pick up the cabinet. He was rude to my husband during the drop off of the sink. Regarding what kind it was. a person should know what kind of sink they have. We dont appreciate attitude from the staff when we spend money in an establishment. Staff should rethink how they speak to paying customers. We have plenty of choices of places to take our business to. Definitely will rethink coming back if we keep encountering rude staff.

I am in the construction business and consistently have valuable items to donate. The problem is the staff always act like jerks, like in bothering them, as though they are doing me a favor.Id rather put all my donations in the trash than deal with the attitude going forward. WTH?!? I stopped by the wheat ridge branch at 4:55pm on Thursday feb. 7th the day after the snow storm and the place is closed already with a sign sighting inclement weather while its sunny and a little chilly out side with clear roads to boot. If you ask me, their prices aren’t that spectacular compared to local Goodwills and ARC’s and they maintain their operating hours no matter what. For the amount of time they close every year I guess it would be nice to be able to depend on them to honor their times of operation a little better
