I have gone to fern hill for many tests etc.i always found everyone to be very pleasant and easy to talk ti i always prefer going there instead of the hospitalnever had a long wait.i also love the bldg when you walk in it is so refreshing and inviting.beautiful place and so beautifully kept.Beats going to the hospital

I went to fern hill to receive “good” care, but I got far less than that. They treat their facility more like a conveyer line, than a hospital. I went there for two reasons, my hip and shoulder. I was completely ignored when talking about my hip. I was then rushed to the x-rays, where I again received less than “good” care. The X-rays were performed in a rushed way. I then finally get to see the doctor, Dr.Towsen. She spent all about 3 minutes with me, while I explained my symptoms. My X-rays came back normal, which I expected, I am then told I need an mri, which is what I thought would happen. I was then rushed out of the private room, where then I proceeded to make an appointment for an mri. Now I am expected to wait around 2 weeks for a call for the mri scheduling. Everything about the place is less than average. So many people being taking advantage of. Never go here, if you want someone to actual care about you and your health needs, don’t come here.

I have been using Fernhill for my blood test for years and never had a problem but today I had a practitioner tell me is set up in my chair in my chair I told her my back was what it was and I couldnt set up any straighter she was not very pleasant

This is his wife writing review. While my husband was having surgery I went to use first floor bathroom (6:45am). The toilet had fecal material on it and the bathroom stunk. I immediately went to the bathroom on upper floor by gi suite and the toilet was clean but no soap at all. How disgusting!

Usually a great place but you call , leave a message, and waited 2 days and no returned call. I called the hospital and made an appointment. I believe Penn can do better.

I cant overstate my recommendation for this place. While we went through a cancer scare I found the staff - from the volunteers to the admissions staff all the way up to the doctors - to be excellent. They were patient and compassionate and great at their jobs.The parking was easy, facilities were nice and level of care was great. But the what truly impressed me was while I sat waiting for my familys procedure to finish, I did not see a single patient wait for more than 10 minutes until they were called back. The admissions person even checked on me to make sure they hadnt missed anyone. That sort of care is just outstanding in our world of 3 hour hospital waits.

Dr. Simmons was kind n understanding,,was not quick with his time with me in the exam room. Discuss with me my opinion for treatment. Was seen pretty close to my appt. time. The staff was very nice and with a smile

The nurses have always been professional. They demonstrated their kindness and care when I requested 3 warm blankets as Im always cold. After various surgeries, they have offered me something to eat and drink. My experiences have always been very positive!

Place is great! Ive been there over 20 times and my wife multiple times for our 2 kids, not sure what Kate is talking about lol.

I had a script for an mri done with no dye contrast and about 4 people where trying to get me to say yes to the contrast. The receptionist at desk where very rude and unprofessional felt like I was being bullied honestly! I had to say no to the contrast about 5 times! They even had the mri dr speak with me to change my mind. I wanted to just storm out of there and have it done at brandywine but it’s been since August and I wanted it done. I will never go back there again!

Will definitely go somewhere else for my 20 week. No pictures didnt even get to listen to the heartbeat.
