I love this place! They have tons of healthy products including fresh produce, essential oils, and so much more. They also have some local items such as Colectivo coffee. When I used to eat protein bars and drink protein shakes, I appreciated their variety of good options as well as low prices for these. Ive also purchased essential oils here. They have lots to choose from. Id highly recommend this store!

Amazing place to shop! Customer service is fantastic, they’re all very friendly. I go there a few times per month, for supplements, CBD, other food items, and coffee. I love the locally obtained coffee they have available. It’s really good! I make use of their coffee grinder, which is super helpful! And don’t get me started on the candy and chocolate options! This place is definitely worth the trip across the city from where I live!

Great selection of natural supplements and organic and natural foods and produce. Prices are way better than Festival and if they don’t have it on shelf, they will do everything they can to order it or find it for you. While there are items they obviously can’t order, they will find a close substitute. Their attention to customer service is impeccable. This is truly a hidden gem in West Allis!

The staff here is beyond friendly and they know their stuff when it comes to the vitamins. I love the cute produce section and their prices for organic goodies are cheaper than I can find around town. Not to mention, its a small family owned business! I can literally pick anything up off the shelf and trust its a quality item. I reccomend checking them out!

They have a great supply of supplements and an amazing supply of organic food. I have always been impressed at how much they pack into this little store. I have always found the employees wearing masks and helpful. And the prices are good. I highly recommend them.

Health Hut in West Allis provided my turkey this year. Store manager Alex was a pleasure to work with. Absolutely would recommend.

I like the store and the selection but was just there today and the check-out clerk was wearing a crocheted doily instead of a mask. It had a ribbon on the top to secure it to her head and nothing to keep the bottom in place. Not that it would matter what was on the bottom since it wasnt a mask! Unbelievable.

No masks. For a health food store that is baffling. I will avoid all health huts in the future. The lack of care during this pandemic is very telling. Add in that this place is attracting the anti mask types because of their refusal enforce any kind of safely guidelines and it just looks like they should rename themselves health hazard or covid hut. Its disappointing to see a company I used to frequent very regularly cover their eyes and ears to basic facts during a pandemic because its most convenient for the owners wallet.

No masks required for employees! Covid 19 uncontrolled and the owner Curt doesn’t think it’s important. And this a health supplement store. Had an extended conversation with him about it and he was dismissive, regarding it as a matter of opinion, not science. What a shameful attitude!

I have shopped at the the Health Hut for years, and every time I go there I always feel unwelcome. I would hate to think its because Im afrAfrican American, but they have had the same staff for years and when ever I go there they just seems kinda cool. I remember last year one of the employees tried to convince me to buy a head of cauliflower that was black and moldy. When I pointed that out she said oh you can just cut that off my daughter asked if she said that because we were black and therefore had to be poor. Im not rich but earning over $200,000 a year Im pretty sure I can afford my food without the mold. On the up side they carry a big selection of supplements at a competitive price, along with fresh fruit and veggies.

Usually when I go here there are very nice cashiers, except for the lady giving FREE samples as she totally ignored me and asked the guy behind me if he wanted to try try a sample. I can tell she is stuck up as this happened before twice. I am not sure if she dont like Latinos but me and my wife went there one day and as we approached her free sample table she totally ignored us and there was a white lady behind us and she asked her. Would you like a free sample and acted like me and my wife were not there and that was really rude.

Ive had several non happy experiences here. The star is for the kind cashiers.

I called ahead to see if this location had Tanka Bars, and they confirmed they did. I drove for half an hour to reach the store. There were three guys hanging around by the checkout. I looked by the chocolate bars, and the protein bars, but could not find them. I walked over to the two guys hanging out talking, and they didnt stop chatting. So I asked if they could show me where they were. The older gentleman with a beard walked over to the chocolate bars, and said there. I said no, I checked there already, and that they were Tanka Bars, and were made with buffalo and cranberries, and that I had just called and they said they had them. He just walked back to the front of the store. I should have just left, but I spent an hour total driving. I walked through the rest of the store, found them in another area, and left. This used to be a wonderful store. I will no longer give them my business at this location.

This store helped me change my life for the better! I lived only a few blocks away for a few years and have many food allergies. this place has gluten free, preservative free foods, whole foods, Organic, certified organic, kosher, heirloom seeds, bulk herbs, a knowledgeable supplements lady who can help you find the best herbal supplements to help with health problems that your Western medicine doctor may not know. This place helped me get healthy - buts as the other review says, I hate to say it but I have had very scary for me, as I am disabled and sensitive, experience here because they dont often get someone who uses the EBT card, also called snap or quest card, thank God they accept it! But In weird rare occasions there may be some error with the card and the customer service agent at the checkout desk would be angry and just say like, well, you should have done this or that, like you should have known your balance! when it wasnt that my balance was too low, it said they were not letting their food labeling problems come to attention. I hope this is changed but over the years that happened to me three times in the store. But if you take knowledge into your own hands, I realized that at the time discount foods to not show up as EBT acceptible properly, so i would no longer buy them. Or if my balance was too low but I tried to buy an herbal supplement that was labeled powdered, or USDA Organic, that means it DOES work with EBT, I know from years of experience and even bought herbal supplements from thIS AND OTHER storeS when IT had the labels, but if your balance is low and you didnt know it and you try to buy that, the customer service wont know thats whats wrong and they might scare you. Think of it as an initiation to go into the store. This food does help heal your spiritual growth, it really does. They also have an amazing selection of teas and if youre at all susceptible to anxiety like me, try the kava kava root. All you do is soak it in water overnight and drink it and it helps to calm down that keeps your brain aware this is one of the rare places you can buy it in bulk. also calm brand magnesium. all americans are deficient in magnesium, cuz stress burnsvit out. try it and, ahhhh, instant tasty relief. So anyway, thank you health hut for your amazing selection right near my grandma every time I visit! which helps me survive HER unhealthy food temptations 😁 but just keep deep breathing iF something weird happens here with customer service just be patient. And write a review. Google is helping reviews change the world, eventually the human beings at health hut wILL read these reviews and decide to change when they are ready. :-) this place also has all kinds of helpful organic skin care products too and toothpaste hygeinic needs kind of things. Dr. Bronners soap, aloe vera gel. Very helpful.

Terrible customer service, lady at check-out counter was rude and disrespectful although I spent over $$200 in the store, when I called the manager to complain I got the usual sorry which was ok if it came off sincere but it was not, will never shop there again and will not recommend.
