I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy done today. Everything went smooth. The anesthesiologist, Amy did a great job and Dr. Leo, the physician did an awesome job too. Last time I had biopsies done on my esphogus at another place, I had a sore throat for a couple days, but this time with Dr. Leo, I feel fine, no sore throat.

I had an excellent experience with GI Associates. I was impressed with the pre-op procedure. When I first called, the person gave me an appointment and took a thorough history. The prep Rx was waiting for me at the pharmacy and instructions they sent were very easy to understand.The day of the procedure went very smoothly. All the nurses at the center in West Allis took good care of me and made me feel at ease. Dr.Guda was great. The procedure went smoothly and I was done before I knew it. Highly recommend!

Detailed, precise information packet giving Instructions prior to and day of colonoscopy. Very thorough medical history completed via phone call from staff. Day of procedure everyone including reception, assistants, nurse, anesthesiologist and Dr Geenen very professional, friendly, organized, and knowledgeable . A very well run team of professionals. I felt very comfortable and at ease knowing I was in good hands with a very caring staff

Had a colonoscopy today. No one likes these and after all the preparation and the fasting for over a day you’re pretty tired and maybe even a little cranky about having to do this. Nurses and staff were fantastic! Doctor and anesthesiologist was also great. Sure made the experience a lot better. Highly recommend this place. Got me in and out as quickly as possible, no waiting around prior to the procedure.

Everyone, from the person who scheduled my appointment, the receptionist, nurses, and doctor were welcoming, professional and genuinely interested and concerned about my well-being and comfort. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions. It was my first time at their office and it felt like we had known each other for a while.

My procedure went very good with everyone from the minute I arrived to the minute I left being very friendly, helpful and informative. I highly recommend their team and services.

Communication: Report results need to be promptly sent to ordering physician AND patient needs to be informed of transmittal and their responsibility, so that, they know clinic’s recommendations and can action accordingly. This is important to prevent gap in treatment. This is a real need.

Very polite and professional staff and Physician, Dr. Guda. Everything was explained in detail, any questions answered. This is my second procedure at the facility and highly recommend it-safe use of sedation during procedure with quick recovery, not hours of grogginess with excessive medications. Everyone on staff was wonderful.

Being a new patient I found the intake process very smooth and well run. The wait time in the waiting room was 5 minutes! Once in the office we were seen very quickly by Dr. Guda who had already done some background research into possible reasons for my concern. He was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this office and Dr. Guda.

My sister was trying to schedule a colonoscopy and an endoscopy that the ER doctor requested and the receptionist told her sometimes the results can be inaccurate which is quite a stretch for a receptionist with no medical training to be downplaying her issues when she is in need of critical care. She had no respect for my sister whatsoever. Our hospitals are in worse condition enough with this pandemic the last thing we need is disrespectful patient care.

After an occurrence it’s nice to know the follow up goes smoothly. The staff is friendly and also helpful. Would recommend GI associates to anyone that needs the special care. Dr. Geenen very knowledgeable and cared about my past history even though it was the first time we met.

I would definitely recommend GI Associates to anyone who is having digestive issues. Specifically, Dr. Geenen changed my life for me. When I first went to see him, I had nausea and vomiting pretty much every day. My life was miserable. I could never plan social events because I didnt know how severe my nausea would be. This had been going on for almost two years. Dr. Geenen kept testing and testing until he found the problem, then fixed it. He is very personable, caring and professional. Every person in the West Allis clinic has been respectful, kind and helpful. They gave me my life back!

I cant recommend this place enough. a colonoscopy is never any fun, but the entire staff here made the whole experience as good as it could possibly be. everyone was very friendly and supportive and calm. all was clearly explained and they talked through every facet of what would happen. incredible group of people that work very well together--it was a monday morning at 7 am and they were all great! Dr. Guda was very patient and thorough, and the entire staff there were great!

I love all the staff at GI from the front office to the back office, the nurses and the Drs. (My Dr happens to be Dr Gennen). If there is an issue with insurance and drug coverage, they work hard and fast to make sure you get everything you need.Thanks

Horrible experience. Was randomly diagnosed with GERD and given a prescription that showed no improvements for whatever medical problem I have. Dr. Guda was not helpful. He informed me to call their 24/7 phone line when I go to the emergency room to assure I get properly treated. Talked to him again and he says no one can help.
